Here's a scenario for all you saying it's not pay-to-win let's say I'm a day one player never achieve the Emperor title but yet here it is I could make a sub by all my maxed out skills with all my skyshards and take that level 10 into the below 50 cyrodiil and get my Emperor title which also gives me a end game achievement as well for my Platinum overall achievement for the game now will you call this pay to win are paid to convenience are just paid to exploit the game
Ps. The emperorship title has been achieved by less than 5% of the overall game players within ESO as of date

Assuming you have already gained both top level in both Undaunted and PVP skill lines and have have already found every single skyshard in the game on your account and want to spend all that money just for an achievement...Well sure, it's your wallet.

Personally, I'm never going to be able to just buy the PvP skill lines as all I have ever done is get in, get caltrops and gotten out as quickly as I could. Same with Undaunted, never maxed that either.

Most useful thing is using the skyshard on the crown store to let me know which public dungeons I have not done the group quests on yet...
So they raised the floor and lowered the ceiling. Except the ceiling has spikes in it now and the floor is also lava.

Finally? And, Who cares? And, if you don’t like the game, go play something else. And, why is this post allowed?...seems trolling and not constructive.

Hows trying to keep game free from being exploited trolling or un constructive ?

You do need to have the line completed already on a character before you can buy it, just like the skyshards. Seems more like a pay to not have to repeat content.

It's exactly that. And still think its cheesy. All the guild lines are extremely repetitive and boring after first time. Same with shards. Cleverly hid progression system behind a ever shifting meta and tam one scaling.makes multiple characters a exercise in boredom really.

So.... Besides the title [and I have to mention emperors have been paid off/bribed to allow someone to kill them and take the crown before you could buy skyshards you had to find on a character first], and you have an achievement [that isn't that impressive when you know how some emperors got to be emperor]. and possibly a costume. Congratulations. Feel free to brag and whip out your e-measuring tape. Other than that, so what? You really don't "win" anything. You aren't emperor forever and ever and ever. You don't even get that much respect since people do know about all kinds of interesting shenanigans that have gone on to make someone emperor. "Master Angler" is a lot more impressive, actually.

What, besides a rather empty title and a pointless achievement that means nothing, do you win? Especially if you consider that pve players really don't care the slightest what is going on in pvp. .....Great, wonderful, some player I've never heard of before and will never hear about again got emperor in pvp that I don't care about in a campaign for under 50 characters that I'll never go to. Yay you. ::heads off to do another quest in pve::

People who care about the game are rightfully vocal about its possible downfall into mediocrity. If you don't like it, you're not forced to contribute with a comment that doesn't provide any reasoning. Thank you.

Confirmed that having the undaunted skill line makes you "win" ESO.
Place two players into under 50 PVP at level 15. Now give one player access to powerful PVP skills such as DB, Meteor, Race against time, New Circle of Prot, New Entropy, and so on.

Are you telling me that the player who has all of the extra skills didn’t pay for power? Not to even mention undaunted.

Well by lvl 15 you can have most of those skills so yeah. But why are u so specific with lvl 15. Why not mention lvl 30 or 40. Cause u can get all of them normally by that point?

And how exactly does dawnbreaker and meteor give u emperor?

Just avoid the argument all together and simply sell the Emperor title, I mean it is achievable without paying so it's simply convenience. It also has limited impact and can be cheesed to get, so you aren't really winning anything.

It's probably the only way I could get that title...

Skill lines take too long acquire. Skyshards take too long to acquire. Levels take too long to acquire. Gear takes too long to acquire. It's all just pay for convenience, right?

Just make that stuff account wide like you should have long ago, instead of letting accounting convince you to try to hunt whales.

meh .. as long as you have to do it by hands the first time around, I don't see why not.
    It's not pay to win.

Well, I guess the question is whether there was something that was considered "winning" the first time around, whether that was achieved the first time around, and whether doing it a second (or more) time can also result in "winning".

Whenever you are dealing with time and effort-saving convenience items, it can touch on "winning", whether used by all of the players, or just some of them.
