Yes, same thing will occur when we launch on console March 12. Similar to PC launch, it'll only be the first time you log in.
Thanks for the update! But, why not run some backend job to do this so we don’t have to wait? Just curious... cost more, would take a long time, etc.? Or will returning players have an up to 2 hour login forever?

This has been already asked, but an answer has not been provided, so I'll second the question:
Will this be seen as an user activity, avoiding the current session timeout rules (which are, on login phase, quite aggressive?)
Will session time out rules during this login process be changed?
What will happen if during this process we will get a session timeout? My fear is that will we have to restart from scratch just to get another session timeout at some point, entering in an infinite loop.
