@ZOS_RichLambert so who came up with voldenrung? Please tell me it was wrobel.
@eso_lags It was literally said by Rich during the EW announcement stream that Volendrung (actually, the whole 'Artifacts in Cyro' thing) was Wheeler's idea. I guess you didn't watch it.

Whoa, That wasn't expected.
All the best to Wrobel. He was a great laugh and I will forever remember him as the guy who did a combat roll off the ESO Live set.
Will be interested to see what Wheeler has planned for the coming changes.
With this recent change, are the upcoming racial passives going to be reviewed in depth?
What's most concerning is some of the changes made that remove the effectiveness of some of the most icon TES racial builds:
Removing bonus damage to fire removes the heart from the Dunmer. For ESO specifically, this combined with the lower of max stat has effectively hamstrung Dunmer Firemages and Dumner MagDKs, leaving Altmer as the much more effective choice.
Removing bonus to sneak and damage from stealth from the Bosmer remove one of their most iconic abilities as stealthy little forest elves. And to make it worse for them these are replaced with a bonus to speed after a dodge roll which is redundant as most use a bow anyways which already has that ability. Edit: And which was replaced with bonuses to detection, which is only useful to PvP and worthless in all other aspects of the game; most would argue its worthless in PvP as well. Please at the very least switch this back to straight up stealth.
These are just the two most obvious hits to classic TES identity to races, but they're the most important as these two races appear to be left behind in the dust compared to how the other races are weathering the changes.

Please pay attention to this man's post.
Be honest, did Eric roll dodge and then crouch out of the building?

Going forward, we will be restructuring the team to encapsulate both PVE and PVP teams, with Brian Wheeler taking over as Lead Combat Designer. Brian has years of experience in MMOs and combat – on both Dark Age of Camelot and Warhammer Online, he was heavily involved in class balance in both PVE and PVP. I know the team is in good hands and look forward to seeing what the future brings for that team.

@ZOS_RichLambert can we get updates as to who will be a part of the corresponding PvP and PvE teams or atleast the leads? Will be constructive to know who we should delegate to as such.
My exact thoughts as well. Hopefully we can get some sort of meaningful pvp progression which helped set daoc apart.Casual_Ranger wrote: »Seriously Looking forward to Brian as lead! DAoC was one of my favorite games PvP wise and one of the reasons why I picked up ESO Was because I hear Firor and Brian were working on it in some capacity. This is exciting news!
