Hello community and ESO team.

I remember we used to ask back then when we would get a server this side. I can still see you lads are saying the same thing. But even if the oceanic was alot less busy than you would like. It would be a huge boon for us and would likely draw more back this side.

Thank you for the link Garlic. Abit of a shame, could you tell me why the pings seem higher than first year?.
I have been away for a long long time. Was something done that has caused further ping issues?.

Once, I was a warrior who fought daedric princes. I learned how to anticipate the attacks of my enemies by learning not to stand in red circles. I then realized with horror that the evil entity known as Akamai had worked a foul magic on the land of Tamriel, a magic targeted only at those whose linage was from the land of Oceania. This evil spell allowed players the hope that they were safe, by allowing them to move out of the red circles of death, only to discover that this was an illusion, and that the game considered that they were still within the red circles. The devs, harking not from Oceania, were unable to see the problem, and so ignored their player base.
The question is this: which is more evil, the one who causes harm, or the ones who stand by and do nothing to help.
Seems like a lot. But its still only 3/10 of a second. In reality that's a short amount of time.

Hit the wrong key, once or twice
Saw my death, blood and fire
Bad decisions, that's alright
Welcome to my gamer life
Mistreated, misplaced, misunderstood
Miss "No way, it's all good", but the ping just slows us down
Missed ulti's, always seconds-lagging, dead outside red circles
But, we're still around
Pretty, pretty please, we don't really want to feel
Like we're less than, less than worth it
Pretty pretty please, lack of comment really feels, like we're nothing
Are we nothing to you?

We all know skills dont go off at times but in prime time pvp is a laggy joke and not just for oceanics.
I get that we can just leave.....as the state of the game is so terrible in pvp (and for Oceanics in general) but I cant understand why zos cant say something. Even a small player base are paying customers that have been loyal for towards 5 years. Is business that good?

I say the lag > other people any day plus considering when we play the amount i meet this side i doubt it would be a dead server. Most likely they just don't want to spend the money to help us.
But hey they have the numbers... maybe very few of us from this side play (i doubt it).
Doubt an Oceanic Server would alleviate the problem, you are still going to hit the Akamai hops and receive packet loss and high latency. Personally connect from Canada here, although a typical latency sits around 100ms it is far from consistent, usually fluctuating up to the 300ms - 400ms range and spiking between 2k - 10k.
