Lol at all these NB tears. I’m so sorry that your super strong ultimate that costs the least of any ultimate and also provides major defile for 6 seconds even though everything else only provides 4 seconds and also gives you a 20% damage buff now requires brains to access the stun. L2P.

Cloaking away for 3s until that reverb defile is gone? Such a high skill cap lol.

And now NBs can cloak out of sloads.

It boggles my mind that a class could be this easy to play for casual gamers who don’t want to fight outnumbered. Is it weak when outnumbered compared to some of the other Stam classes? Yes. But that’s not balance, that’s just poor game design.

Incap needed to have group utility added to it and it’s cost increased significantly. Instead we got this “who’s hp is higher BS” which was not the direction they should’ve gone.

I mean it’s a good thing NBs don’t have a way to lower their HP in the short term while receiving a benefit from it later on.... oh wait.

But hey, at least there’s still a class for all the bad players to play and stay relevant. Just remember the stamblade motto: “For the people who just can’t seem to stay alive long enough to get a kill while playing mag sorc, don’t worry - sNB is here for you.”

Dude, you sound like you got rekt MANY times by NBs, i would check my skills if i were you.
Have i ever been rekt by them? Yes, as a NB or as any other class, but nothing crazy which made me feel that NB class was extremely overperforming. I've also avoided to be killed by other nbs cause i know every detail of that class and how to counter it.
You should play as a NB for a while and see by yourself how wrong you are. You would also get a better knowledge of how the class works by playing it and probably avoid getting rekt by them as well.

You would get more kb as a sorc...but I bet you are not the one who got them in execute range

This is funny sitting back and watching the two classes (stamblade and magsorc) that get the most hate for being OP argue back and forth about who is more OP. "Your class is easier! No! Your class is easier!" Meanwhile, my mag dk just got a really nice boost!

I don't necessarily rely on Incap for the stun. But If I want to use the stun I may slot a Malevolent Offering morph to decrease my health slightly before landing an incap combo. Or craft a Stamina/Weapon damage potion with ravage health on it. Pop the potion to increase damage and take a bit of health damage to lower my health % and then hit with incap combo.

The potion option is probably the better one since it doesn't require wasting a skill slot and it actually provides a usefulness for the Snakeblood alchemy passive.

This is the nightblade thread, not the magsorc one.

This is what a GOOD MagSorc thinks about all the time *Ok shields are almost done i have to re-apply, ok i see a burst window, my frags are ready, are my shields still good for another 2-3 seconds? If my shields are down, im vulnerable to be killed easily.. Swap bars and light attack, i got 5 seconds to burst him down, curse, execute, rune cage, frag pop, force pulse execute, re apply shields i got 3 people on me now, streak away to get an advantage, reset the fight, i have sloads on me, need to streak away and heal up a little, re-apply shields, look for that burst window the second they're defenses are down and my frags are proced" etc.. NB.. "Ok incaps up, cloak, incap, SA, spin to win" Literally.... easiest class to play lmfao.
If you die to incap sa Spin to win you freakin suck.

No matter what anyone says I still feel that the learning curve for the NB is one of the steepest if not the steepest of all the classes available. Maybe you guys are right and they are op but you can't just mash buttons and be op. I have every single class in the game and the easiest of them all is the sorc.

This is not about what I like or don't like sorcs are easiest to gear out/plan out defense for. The are the easiest to play and set up burst. 40 meters away haunting meteor rune cage frag. straight sauce that works 90% of the time.

Stam NB's have to be in melee range to do all that above mentioned cloak stun defile crap. It hits hard but has no place in the open battle field. It has a niche. Not good at everything.

Actually i really don't need the stun. Most of the times players can not be stunned anyway.
With a Dot build you don't care about the missing stun (ok, maybe the passive of DW).

Besides you still have mass hysteria and cloak + surprise attack.

All in all this change is the slightest evil in my eyes.

That's exactly what many players ignore.
Melee is much harder to play in PvP. On Range your hit zone is much more easier to manage.
Also under consideration there is lag and some asynchrony.

On a Stamblade most of your skills have 5m range. It often happens that on your screen your target is close enough but the asynchrony says "No, sorry!" and you can't hit.
On a range character you would hit anyway!
