I haven't played the MQ yet so I don't know if this is gone into in any more detail, but if Transparent Law is the Stone of Crystal Tower, destroying it would be a very bad idea. Besides, Dagon wouldn't have bothered to attack Crystal Tower at all if the Stone had already been destroyed, as a Tower without its Stone is defunct, and not worthy of a second glance, let alone an armed assault.Arko_Nam_La wrote: »
3. The Transparent Law should be destroyed
In my opinion I think that the Transparent Law should be destroyed by Dawnbreaker instead of repaired, as per Meridia's will, then replaced by a substitute made by the Psijics after. The Transparent Law is potentially one of the most dangerous and powerful objects in the entire Aurbis. Falling into the wrong hands, it would cause more massive scale calamities. Entrusting mortals with such an object, or even with the task of protecting it, is irresponsible.
In turn, this would explain why Mehrunes Dagon's forces destroyed the Crystal Tower during the Oblivion Crisis instead of taking the Transparent Law for themselves. In my opinion, the Transparent Law being left functional would be a plot flaw in this regard. It's more of a "sacrifice for the greater good of all" thing and I think it would be a suitable twist for you to be a pawn in Meridia's game again.
Does anyone know if the "gold knight" will react differently to you if you've havnt met him during the original mq or dc questline? I am gonna save the completion of the summerset mq but I hope there's some fix for continuity

A fix for continuity or different dialogue options for having not met him? Does he say we havnt met yet but we will or acts like you havnt met? Since summerset takes place after the original mq

Since summerset takes place after the original mqthe first he mentions the meridia mentioned you then say that for some reason your face looks similar to him like the two of you fought a time ago, kinda like this is a future D.... for those who didnt reached coldharbour

Ok just to clear this up, if you met him he knows you, but if you havnt he is like "why do you look familiar like we've met before?" Ok this is good if that's the case from a timeline perspective

Ok this is good if that's the case from a timeline perspectiveHe asks if he seems familiar to you, because he remembers you. But he says Meridia explained to him that time worked differently in Oblivion, so these events might not have happened for you yet.

Was this after the 2 Wraith of Crow (the winged skeleton bone creatures) were summoned that you hit this? Pinpointing the exact moment this occurs will help us track down where this might be breaking.
Also if you hop out of the instance area and head back to the Dreaming Cave for 15 minutes or so, it'll spin down and reset. So while you will have to run through the end instance part again, you won't have to re-do the entire quest chain. The good news is that this is what PTS is for!
As for everyone else, thank you for the feedback thus far! And to confirm as some people have called out, a large number of NPCs have several layers of various greetings and conversation options based on what your player character has done in the past.

Why does Darien look like Jakarn? Is that going to be important?
