I have a few concerns about the story:

    1. The Coldharbour Compact is never explained

I was honestly expecting it to interlink with the Triad story somehow, but it never does. So expanding on the previous idea, perhaps Nocturnal could explain it to us, at least a bit? We know that Sotha Sil propsed a truce, but the Daedric Princes had no reason to comply. What did Sotha Sil offer them?
And while you could stick with a more simple "well it was just a truce, nothing more" explanation, it feels like a waste of a major hyped up plot point.

    2. The Transparent Law doesn't seem to get an explanation

At least as far as I have read. We know that the Aldmer constructed the Crystal Tower, but who or what constructed the Transparent Law? Was it even created? I think that directly revealing this would ruin its mystery but perhaps if Nocturnal or certain characters hinted at some vague lore surrounding the Transparent Law, it would give the lore community some good fuel for theories.

    3. The Transparent Law should be destroyed

In my opinion I think that the Transparent Law should be destroyed by Dawnbreaker instead of repaired, as per Meridia's will, then replaced by a substitute made by the Psijics after. The Transparent Law is potentially one of the most dangerous and powerful objects in the entire Aurbis. Falling into the wrong hands, it would cause more massive scale calamities. Entrusting mortals with such an object, or even with the task of protecting it, is irresponsible.

In turn, this would explain why Mehrunes Dagon's forces destroyed the Crystal Tower during the Oblivion Crisis instead of taking the Transparent Law for themselves. In my opinion, the Transparent Law being left functional would be a plot flaw in this regard. It's more of a "sacrifice for the greater good of all" thing and I think it would be a suitable twist for you to be a pawn in Meridia's game again.

I haven't played the MQ yet so I don't know if this is gone into in any more detail, but if Transparent Law is the Stone of Crystal Tower, destroying it would be a very bad idea. Besides, Dagon wouldn't have bothered to attack Crystal Tower at all if the Stone had already been destroyed, as a Tower without its Stone is defunct, and not worthy of a second glance, let alone an armed assault.

Ok just to clear this up, if you met him he knows you, but if you havnt he is like "why do you look familiar like we've met before?" Ok this is good if that's the case from a timeline perspective

He asks if he seems familiar to you, because he remembers you. But he says Meridia explained to him that time worked differently in Oblivion, so these events might not have happened for you yet.

So during the quest "Lost in Translation, we're all standing around like effing idiots because
There seems to be some kind of bug where if you kill the boss too fast, Valsirenn won't summon the portal to escape the Evergloam. so this is what it looks like:evwl8oilycdx.png

Teleporting out doesn't fix it. I'm gonna try logging out and then back in.

Edit: Logging out then back in doesn't work. Ugh, don't tell me I'm going to have to abandon the quest, so much progress, gone.

I've made a fast-run of Glenumbra on PTS with new character, and tGN recognizes you first in Spiral Skein, refering himself as "your old friend". One quest after, before hopping into the Dreaming Cave he still asks you if you remember him. After a positive responce from you he's kinda happy with that, but here goes your character's quetsion about how he was suddenly ended up in Colored Rooms like, wtf is happend? And then he's surprised that his "heroic sacrifice" in Coldharbour for you is still a distant future. So there is two done-quest triggers at least.

    SilverIce58,

Was this after the 2 Wraith of Crow (the winged skeleton bone creatures) were summoned that you hit this? Pinpointing the exact moment this occurs will help us track down where this might be breaking.

Also if you hop out of the instance area and head back to the Dreaming Cave for 15 minutes or so, it'll spin down and reset. So while you will have to run through the end instance part again, you won't have to re-do the entire quest chain. The good news is that this is what PTS is for!

As for everyone else, thank you for the feedback thus far! And to confirm as some people have called out, a large number of NPCs have several layers of various greetings and conversation options based on what your player character has done in the past.

Well, that was an intensive and exciting storyline. I loved the fast pace of the story and the plot twists. Now if I could just forget the story so I could play it at launch as a new experience.

I do not remember every bug/annoyance, but I'll try to list every single thing I remember:
    - at the first quest, the female companion ran trough the pillars, teleported outside of the place and walked trough the door. (It was at a basement of some sort if I remember correctly)
    - at the second quest, I walked under the bridge because I needed to go to see Razum-dar and then my character got cocooned and Raz spawned inside the bridge.
    - The tug-of-war between Mephala and Clavicus Vile animation is broken - the Psijic would suddenly just stand there while princes play their little tug-of-war
    - On the last quest, the ballista shooting was confusing. I really didn't know where to shoot, I tried to shoot the door, the top of the rocks and every wall. I finally got the shot right, when I shot right in the middle of the rocks blocking the door.
Will the next big enemy be Meridia, like hinted in the "suddenly appeared book"?

after main quest, you'll hear 2 guards talking near the staircase about a book that mysteriously appeared on the bench upstairs.

It was right after she summoned the wraith of crows. They appeared, I took them out pretty fast, Valsirenn didn't summon a portal. And then we all stood there like dummies.

If I had known that I could reset the instance, I wouldn't have abandoned the quest, but I did. At least now I don't have to read the dialogue up til that point.

Edit: I used Darien's power that he keeps shouting about having me use. It gets really annoying after the 3rd time to hear him yell about using dawnbreaker to kill all the monsters, as if I wasn't strong/good enough to kill them.

Time skip, my friend, time skip. You either got your hair down, or your beard. That's the rule. I'm pretty sure that Daedric plains are always low on razor supplies. Except for Mehrunes Dagon's probably.

I finished the MQ last night. I don't really have anything in the way of bugs to report. Though I agree, Nocturnal is rather unimpressive to look at. I do hope that skin is a place holder.

Personally, I think your writers and artists have outdone themselves. I really found the story line to be phenomenal. I love the characters, the artwork, and the story. Immensely.

Though I have a question about the final boss in the MQ:

I have a bit of OCD and have played my characters through the game's content in order of release. But what happens to people who chose to do Summerset first? I know the Golden Knight issue is addressed above... but the Earl of Nocturnal? That's going to be rather difficult to get around for those who do Summersert before Morrowind. Is there something I am missing?

"There are worse masters than I. Far worse." - Molag Bal

"I'm not finding you very pleasant!" - Adla the Brewer
"Old Ri'hirr likes his birds slow and stupid!" - Old Ri'hirr
"When things get dirty... Oh, I get so flustered." - Meredil the Archivist
"Too many Argonians about these days..." - Davon's Watch Guard (though I think this one has been removed from game)

These are the points I jotted down while completing the main quest. I did not experience the tutorial portions as I used an existing character (Nightblade) with CP ranging from 240-260'sh during the course of completing the main quest.

    • “Travel to Summerset” quest does not update or show marker properly when arriving at Summerset. This has been posted all over the place so I'm sure it's not news.
    • Dialogue response to Razum-dar when first meeting doesn’t seem to match his dialogue. Your character says "Complications?" as if responding to something he said, but he doesn’t say anything about having “complications” when you talk to him. It might have been in his spoken dialogue and I missed it, but not in the text at least.
    • When going to confront the Aldarch in the Coral Forest, there was a long pause after the Kinlady flees where there was no NPC (i.e. Aldarch) at the marker. After a while the enemy just spawned in with his Earl name and the fight starts. It felt like the Aldarch is supposed to be there, rattle off some dialogue, and then reveal himself or something, but none of that happened.
    • “Ritemaster’s Gifted Staff” stats appear to be wrong (4000% increase). Didn't do any testing to see if it was just the tooltip or not. And while it's not a reward from the main quest I'll mention it here as well; “Rat-Fang Dagger” quest reward has the same issue (only 2000% though if I remember right).
    • When rescuing Darien Gautier from the webs in Mephala's realm, Valsirenn did a very strange animation that looked like she was trying to imitate a spider using her arms. I almost thought a plot device was in progress considering where we were.
    • Barbas’s voice cut out after he transformed to a humanoid, prior to entering the portal in the Dreaming Cave. Seemed like he was starting to say something. The remaining conversation carried on normally.

I didn't run into any other bugs or issues with the main quest, very well done. Overall though, I will say that I found the whole experience very easy, even the major boss fights. I never used a single consumable item except soul gems to refill enchants, and never felt I was ever at risk of dying. I would recommend making at least the boss fights a little more challenging.

Are you guys gonna do anything about the tutorial and tutorial skillpoint being unable to be done by existing characters? Just force players to do the tutorial, it's a 4 minute one if you sprint anyways. Not only is it a good intro to the psijic order and mephala, it's a skillpoint that's valuable.

During the quests involving the psijic order I am disappointed that the most powerful mages organization are easily slaughtered by daedra and I feel they are portrayed way weaker than they actually are. I'd like for there to be some mages holding off some daedra or even showcasing their time warping skills by holding them in place.

During the sapriahs quest daedra invasion I'd like there to be an additional objective to look for additional survivors while looking for the main objective. The place is a huge maze and it's disappointing that they couldn't hold off either with a few evident survivors. So I'd like for the player to be given the opportunity to save some of them

I don´t know why, but the fight against K'tur (The Sea Sload) is giving me trouble, and it kills me almost instantly, so i´m stuck in that instanced fight. The problem i have with that boss doesn´t happen to me anywhere else in the game, and i think that the reason is that in the instance of "broken memories", the game has trouble adjusting to my character level.

So, I´m stuck on that main quest.
