"Notable" is a tier. Daggerfall Overlook, Ebonheart Chateau, and Serenity Falls count towards the Count/Countess title. The others, most of which are crown-only, don't count towards the title.

It’s funny you mention that. I own 3 notable homes (Grand Topal Hideaway, Linchal Grand Manor, and Observatory Prior), and none of them were purchased due to them having a title attached to their acquisition. I bought them, because they were extremely unique when compared to every other residence; or property (an island resort, a mansion/villa gated by massive stone, and laboratory). I look at people who buy houses for said titles, and while I don’t exactly frown at them? I wonder if they truly like the properties at all.
