This makes me even less inclined to go with amazon. I was pissed last year, they promised me release day delivery and i didn't get my CE till 2 days later. Stupid. Whenever BestBuy gets it on their system i might preorder through them instead. Or, do you think i can go hop down to the store and preorder there? If Bestbuy has it available to pickup at store (gamestop doesn't for some stupid reason) that would make me more inclined to go with them.

As it stands, Amazon DE/IE/UK/... (or any online store) don't carry the physical collectors edition. Ordering it from the Amazon US costs a lot considering shipping+import fees.

you could probably pre-order in person. i tend to do everything online because I'm a hermit :P bear in mind, best buy gamers discount program is not free - its $30 for 2 years, bit if you buy new games often (and/or trade in, buy used stuff or console, etc) should be worth it.

though I still ended up, grudgingly going with amazon. not like I'm getting my prime membership refunded, so might as well

Yeah problem is BestBuy doesn't seem to have it in their system yet. So i guess i hold on to the amazon preorder for now till Bestbuy gets their butts in gear. Lol

@Vitaely Canadians don't see it on Amazon either. I imagine it will be like Morrowind... It will be available, just not yet. Took a couple weeks for Morrowind to show up last year for me (Canadian)

I too didn't receive my mount. I purchased the digital collectors edition upgrade, play on PSN NA, and id is MNsnowtaTy.

I really hope their distribution of PC collectors editions is better this time around.
Last time it was inpossible to get a copy in Scandinavia bar the first 50 who was fast, and the rest had to resort to purchasing from other countries and pay the hig delivery fee.
In general it was very hard to get your hands on a PC collectors edition in EU if you didn't order during the first couple of weeks.
Meanwhile in America they were everywhere but they don't ship to EU.
On top of that it was a nightmare to get early access.

I ended up cancelling the collectors edition and just buying the digital one because of how poorly it was all handled by ZOS and their distributors.

I really hope they shape up this time around and don't starve EU for PC collectors editions while flooding the NA market - there's already enough favoritism going on with the support of NA streamers, contest tailored exclusively for NA players and maintenance during EU midday.

I got an email from Amazon that publish date has changed and now I'm getting my physical CE on june 4th. I know that international shipping times are not decided by ZOS, but is there a way this year for people like me who live in countries where nothing sells it and only USA's Amazon will (slowly) ship to get early access?

I opened a ticket with customer service asking if providing a screenshot of my Amazon order of the Physical Collectors Edition would let them unlock the mount and give me a code to use from May 21st until it arrives. They did that for me with the Morrowind Physical Collectors Edition, so I am hopeful. I'll let everyone know if it works when they get back to me. I'd hate to get punished and miss out on May 21t and have to wait until June 11th.

THe email confirming the order says delivery between May 25-29.
Thats great for start day but late for the early access.

Since ZoS did a order screenshot thing for Morrowind. I shouldnt be hard to do the same thing theoretically.....

Amazon just now updated my order and it says arriving May 21st. Cool, it said June 11th earlier this morning. Someone from ZoS must have got ahold of them. I'm still hoping to get the mount now if I provide an order screenshot, but that isn't nearly as big a deal.

Same here - pre-ordered from EB Games NZ, and it says June 5 for PC, which by all accounts here is the wrong date. Plus it seems a shame if the most expensive edition of this game doesn't get the mount right away.

It seems silly that buying the most expensive edition of this chapter prevents you from accessing the ZOS-hyped "get em right now" preorder perk(s) until go-live. That negates the offer, guys.

Can we really not provide a proof of purchase to unlock the content?

It's not the end of the world; it's just pixels after all. It just seems a bit dumb and disincentivizes us buying the physical collector's edition.

ETA - The following statement should be removed as it's false: "Finally, pre-purchasing the Physical Collector's Edition will grant you the Queen's Bounty Pack and immediate access to the Nightmare Senche Mount."

Not sure if that will work, but right under the description of the PHYSICAL edition it states that purchases will grant immediate access to the queen's bounty pack and the nightmare senche mount.

Game UK have the physical collectors edition, you can pre-order both in their shops and online. It wasn't listed online last night, but is today.

oh same here. my point is that if they say it they need to follow through. I already have MW, so this pre-purchase is solely for the statue/book. for MW there was a way to prove early purchase by providing your amazon Order number and/or screen shot through the main eso website. I suspect that's what will happen this time. But this overwhelming lack of follow-up on every damn thing from zeni is a PIA.
