Big problem I have with making orcs: I can't tell the proper colour of skin due to lighting in the character creator.

My female Orc is a beauty in her own rights - who else says different is welcome to join my block list :-)

edit: well, just kidding - I wouldn't play an orc, if I would have a problem with her looks - she is a real gorgeous orc lady.

Does anyone have a female orc without a gigantic forehead? I'd like to overcome this shortfall, for reasons of personal taste. I can make a good looking female orc to my eye otherwise.

markings, hairstyles, and facial accessories can make a big difference:

Avoid semi-bald (buzz cut, mohawk etc.) and pulled back (ponytails, dreads, etc.) hairstyles that make the forehead look more prominent. Instead try styles that overlap the forehead like bangs, loose bun, curls. Also, many facial markings and jewelry can cover the forehead well even if you prefer a hairstyle that does not.

I stopped trying to make stuff look pretty in here. I mostly PvP, so I just focus on making my characters look as ferocious and intimidating as possible now. Except that my Argonians always seem to end up looking like an angry Jar-jar Binks...

for orcs ugly is beautiful so your trying hard for nothing.

i must also add: who remembers trolls and ogres from original Everquest and firbolgs from daoc. They got ugly like no orc could ever compete with.
