Queue still broken.

    One of my guildies said he was up at 6:15am and was in the game. And said clearly it NEVER went offline on PS4 NA server. They said they fixed it, but really, they just crossed their fingers it seems.

    It's broken as hell right now. 2nd night running of this event... I hope they have something decent to compensate with... like the Imperial War Horse that everyone in the daytime has been getting but us at night are not able to...

    On PC NA and having NO problems joining Random Normal via group queuer - never more than 4 -5 min queue wait

    On PC NA, have 4 man pre-made group, haven't been able to que for 60 minutes, same problem everyone else is having.
    You can't sprint and use abilities at the same time.

    I have to say... Frontier Developments handle things so much better than Zenimax. When they have an issue, they are transparent. They discuss it on the forums. Not just the moderators of forums, but the ACTUAL developers get on the forums - even David Braben (CEO of FD and creator of the Elite franchise from the 1980s) will talk to the community immediately and work tirelessly to fix problems.

    They have little tech debt, and are funded primarily from the community. It's a business model that suits them well - and one Zenimax could DEFINITELY learn from.

    i think mostly, everyone is tired of the lies and defensive behaviour from heavy tech debt.

    I had no issues with dungeon finder earlier in the evening (5 or so hours before this post) on 3 separate characters, 3 solo queues and 1 premade. I did one of the pledges with a group later on (30 minutes before this post) and after the pledge, we tried to do a random normal but encountered the repeated 'someone declined' failure, and this kept on even after we disbanded and queued separately.

    Just wondering if the problem is caused by users with pre-made groups, I am certainly not having a problem joining a random group via the group queue

    Nope not just pre-made. I was in the queue for about 20 minutes got the ready check - then the same someone declined spam over and over that others are reporting.

    I had issues on the PC/NA server tonight. Kept saying someone declined the invitation, and it happened nine times in a row before I gave up and switched to another character. That didn't fix the problem, because I then had the same issue on the new character.
    I waited a half hour, and when I tried again after the wait, it worked fine for some reason.

    Group Finder on BattleGrounds has always done this. From the off. Odd that's its spread to Dungeons.

    Any word? Many of your players are still experiencing problems.

    Personally PC/NA solo queuing for BG's gives 30+ insta declines in 30secs. Happens about 1/4 - 1/3 of the time.

    I've given up on this event. It's not worth the agro! It seems it's mostly just crap in these boxes anyway.
    It's just really annoying though. I normally use the grouping tool every day and run 2 or 3 dungeons every day. So when I saw this event I thought 'Great, an event around my favourite activity!'. But actually I haven't been able to do a single dungeon since this event started!

    I am finding when making a team of four then queuing, over five attempts with different groups today:
    • Results in the endless 'forming group' (after we all accept) ; 'someone declined' (after that message appears), then 'dungeon ready' message again, then repeat ad-infinitum
    • We also got a 'someone does not have that dungeon' type of message once
    • One experience of not being in group (group chat did not work) but the group window was showing I was; I could be invited back to it and had to accept.
    • Sometimes extreme delays when performing a ready check. We all click 'ready' and a minute or so later the message 'everyone in your group is ready' appears.

    We also tried moving to the same unpopulated instance of Stros to embark, that failed too.

    Some good news though.
    • Queuing solo always works so far (sprinkled among the other attempts outlined above)
    • Occasional 'someone declined' / 'placed head of queue' messages
    • Works, complete random normal, get rewards including Mysterious Box

    I am lucky I have quite a few alts than can queue as heals or tank.

    Correction, by my math, prior to One Tamriel there were 24 base game dungeons, split between normal and veteran difficulty. After One Tamriel, every dungeon got a normal and veteran mode, so that means the number of base game dungeons doubled, yes?

    Well, if you ask me, that doesn’t mean there are twice as many dungeons. They are the same dungeons. The veteran second versions were only given as pledges by Glirion. Now you can just do them on normal too but they are the same dungeon. And not every dungeon has a second version either (Direfrost Keep and Blessed Crucible are two examples). So no. They’ve only added six dungeons since the game’s release: Imperial City, Shadows of the Hist, and Horns of the Reach.

    That doesn’t change the fact that the dungeon finder wasn’t broken before. They only changed it because people were queuing and then going afk while the rest of the group carried them through the dungeons. Zenimax wanted to change that but instead, now no one can get in.... What great developers...

    Guild member asked for a team to do a random norm. Turns out, guild member actually wanted a team to do the pledge. Knew full well there was no real tank and no real healer. Immediately fled when CoA2 turned out to be too much for him.

    I don't know if the tool is broken but with a two DD group we wait for more than an hour with no luck on random normal, then after a 40mn queue on random vet we had the invite and after 2s it says "someone decline"

    we always had long waiting time in queue (20-30mn in random vet, I suppose it's because the 2 DD group) but since dungeon finder is "fixed" we haven't manage to enter one..

    It's not as broken as yesterday - 5-30 attempts will make it work. But it's no completely fixed aswell. Though i don't want another 3-5 hours of maintenance every day.

    Hey guys, just letting you know we did see your posts about ongoing issues with LFG last night. It's likely that some things are going to be slower during peak times over the weekend due to demand, but we are looking into ways to improve grouping performance and the tool itself in the future.
