Really is a shame.. the guy who wanted to duel with me probably thinks I ran away like a big sissy LALA . but honestly hun, I simply cannot get into the game...

Same here. If you looks at my post above yours I'm experiencing similar difficulties

The maintenance for PC and PS4 today had nothing to do with the loading screen issue.

Also, everyone, please remember that the fix we have in today's Xbox patch (and the earlier PS4 patch) isn't meant to fix all loading screens you'll ever run into; just the ones relating to the character textures we talked about, which was one of the more common ones you were running into since we launched Update 16. So do you have an ETA on when the cyro load screens will be fixed? like every time we die hitting a load screen? it seems to be better but still happening 50% of the time..

Cyrodiil load times cycle through now, but I have had a couple last a bit longer than the suggested 2 minute cutoff. Also, I've been trying to log in for nearly 2 hours - but keep getting repeated server timeouts over and over and over and over and over...

Please, can some acknowledgement be made to the kick from login screens when trying to
load any characters. It will try to load then either barely load textures in the game and crash or it won't load at all and the game crashes me back all the way to the main login screen with morrowind.

Sometimes it populates an error 303.


Once again I'm ps4 Pro NA

Please this is happening every day and no dev seems to want to acknowledge it. If there's something fundamentally wrong with the game
,not just the update, for loading textures then we need to understand it so we aren't so dang frustrated when it's like it's being pretended it doesn't exist

I will log in, the character screen comes up I pick a character and regardless where I log my character in 8/10 times it will crash and send me back to the dashboard while anything has either NOT loaded in or has barely loaded the game and crashed. This happens logging into personal home instances, Cities, the wilderness areas. Everywhere and forces me to log in 2-3 times before I get the game to actually load in and not get dashboarded/crashed back to log in screen.

I have repeatedly tried to bring attention to this but have not been able to get any sort of acknowledgment of fixing this issue.

This has been happening before AND after clockwork city's update. And is now still happening after reverting the games pipline and updates directly following them.

I don't know what else to do here

Because this game still has some of the best content I've ever played. And when it works, it's the best gaming experience I've ever had


That being said, I don't mind helping to support it if it can be fixed. But If it can't eventually I know I'll get bored with it an move on. But until that point happens I'll try to help where I can

While I appreciate you fixing the load screen issue, I can’t play due to lag. I haven’t played for awhile and tried to play and waited in the queue for Vivec Xbox na. I wasn’t even in a Zerg and could not bar swap and then got kicked out. It said I was spamming messages. Then I had to wait in another queue! Seriously? First time I’ve played in weeks and I still can’t play!

Only way is to stop paying for ESO+ and the gambling Loot Crates. Maybe then they will wake up when money stop rolling in. Hit them at the wallet folks.

- Which server do you play on from which country? How;s your Ping?
- Do you face error 303 when you try to log in?(After a 1-2 second long pause in the "hamster wheel")
- Do you see similar 1-2 second hamster wheel pauses in the character select screen?
- Are you never able to get through the character select to the game? (May Take Multiple Tries - Restarts)
- Does you PC pass these minimum requirements? (elderscrollsonline.com/en-us/news/post/26031)


Check your interface.log in Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\Logs

If your game fails at log in, do your last entries look something like:

I had a crash porting to Davon's watch and was not able to log in after that. So the texture issue may be near the Davon's Watch Wayshrine.

Numerous attempts to login both last night and today had failed. I even tried to log in my alt in Rivenspire (likely at Wayshrine) and it failed as well. Always after selecting a specific character and trying to log in and with a very long wait before failing.

Lastly, Just now at 11:05AM pacific I was able to log into my main at Davon's Watch Wayshrine.

@augestflex_ESO Read this last comment please ^

NOTE: The 1-3 Second long Freezes in the hamster loading wheels would probably not appear(will be smaller than a second) in event of a SUCCESSFUL jump.

Group mates have been plagued with loading screens and random frames drops. It's 330 in the morning EST and all pops are at 1 bar on Sotha Sil.

@ZOS_GinaBruno what is the ETA on our fix?

Played PVP for several hours on Saturday. 1730 to 0130(Sunday morning)

I encountered one loading screen after repairing a keep wall. This is normal, however I did recover from this load screen from someone sharing a few quests or pure coincidence in the timing, but all people in my group stuck in the load screen came out of it at the same time with the shared quest ready to accept or decline.

New happenings.

When I was using my old system which was:
Original Xbox 1
Internal HDD

I would frequently get into areas in PVP sometimes during battles and sometimes after or right before them, where the game would freeze. A half second or so would pass and I would get some looping sound, then the game would crash and I would be forced back to the console screen.

With the new rig I did experience a two moments where the game froze completely(and I thought I was about to get kicked) but to my surprise the game recovered and I moved on. I experienced this freeze for a max of 1 to 4 seconds each time it happened. I did not happen often.

I am assuming that becasue the XBOX1X and the SSD are able to access the files faster that instead of looping in sound I was able to access the missing texture or sound before the game crashed. This is of course pure speculations as I do not understand your code.

To go a whole night in PVP and never get kicked to console screen was awesome!

Overall the XBOX1X/SSD combo performed fantastic. I had very little lag type affects while in large combat. I did not experience skills not firing at a high rate as I would have before. The game did not crash when all three factions were battling in an area. I was very impressed on how the XBOX1X handled the game in PVP. In 98% of the cases the game ran really well. It was the best PVP experience to date for me. I never experienced a terrible frame rate even with more than 100 players in the same area. Frames stayed playable and to great all night.

PVE(Trials)
I ran Asylum before(With XBOX1/Internal HDD) and after (XBOX1X/External SSD) and this was a night and day difference. The trial ran fantastic. There was no noticeable game slow downs. Skills and character moments were fantastic. Using the original setup I had there was constant slow down in game play. Frames per second were very low and it made it hard to play the game. The difference between the the to setups are so great that I never even dreamed it would be this good.

PVE fast travel
I only experienced two infinite load screens in PVE. Both of these happened in Auridon(Fast traveling within the same area) two weeks ago. I have not seen one since in PVE.

Hope this is helpful. I have more info I can share on overall game performance, but I do not think this is helpful to load screens issue in general. I do want to say that I used my external SSD on my original XBOX1 before receiving my XBOX1X and the difference in load times and general game play are huge. It was like playing a different game. I could not get over the difference with just changing to a SSD.

Well I put in a ticket because of the issue of being unable to get to char select a few days ago. Bethesda had answered me several times. I say several because each response they have me delving deeper and deeper into MY Computer settings. You know, DNS flush, oh command prompt change this to that to skip the pregame vid. I have no issue with pre game vid. I CAN get to the log in and it is accepted. It is from there that the problem happens. Infinite load. So, uninstalled the game 3x. Actually reinstalled frikkin Windows 10 basically. Added em to my dang firewall exceptions.. Now they want me to change all my internet DNS whatever. I am an old fart. I don't know crap about computers. Seems to me that I shouldn't have to know this much about my system? I guess I am saying if you are going to sell me a game, it should work.. It worked before the last "update". I should NOT have to go into advanced computer settings to fix something they broke. I am already concerned they wanted past firewalls. anybody else agree with me? I am at wits end. I guess I will cancel my subscription to a game I BOUGHT, and go play something else. Cuz all my other games run just fine . Oh by the way my graphics card is optimized, I run fiber optics and have no cables wound around my computer. that was another suggestion ..

I think ZOS just changed something on the PC server.
I have made a bunch of zone jumps in last two hours and haven't faced any infinite load screen.

Also. I am seeing this following new line in the interface.log that I am 99% sure wasn't there before.(Or at least since I started looking into it):

Load Screen - Queue Show - Added to Pending

Whatever they did, it seems to be working.

I stopped the ESO+ on december 3rd. Still waiting to hear from ZoS customerservice where I raised a ticket about it.

Nothing heards of them either. Ticket seems open.

It was truly pleasure to spend last month of that subsription on utterly broken product which they don't even have the courtesy to respond through their customerservice.

That speaks volumes so no i did not renew ESO+ either.

Not addressed on PC yet. In fact I think part of the fix for the consoles has been to make PC load times worse as for me the last week has been the worst.
