Ppl want a optional toggle, ofc it's allowed. I wouldnt mind if my vampires looked badass like in skyrim, and not ugly at like in eso

It would be nice if we didn't have to hide our gear/costumes as well. Personalizing your appearance is such a big part of MMOs.

I think everyone's vampire character should be forced to look like Edward from that Twilight series of movies . Even the female ones...

    Post-Dawnguard Skyrim, vampires look amazing.

I actually think that ESO's vampires are right in line with the vampires of an earlier day: http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Vampirism_(Oblivion)

But I don't want to sneak so slowly and I'm sick of night silence armor. 5 pieces of gear for 3 fighting set bonuses is too gimpy.

I don't hate vampirism look, i love it, only thing i hate is the fact that the kinda Overlay effect applies on top of skin tatoos etc.. i would rather have the vampirism overlay/hue effet to apply to layers only below the tatoos etc.. so we can still see the tatoo or details.

Ohh I see what you mean...yes I agree. It doesn't make sense for effects to "fade" and I'm amazed Zos hasn't fixed that yet.

So what you are saying is that we should look stupidly ugly because we have to wear vampire for the insane bonuses you get from it. It's not even a choice. This is ridiculous. These arguments just don't make any sense and it's time to put an end to this.

I don't want to be a vamp. I hate to be a vamp. But I need mist form for my templar because the class has no mobility, I need that 10% extra regen because I play a healer and it is always a good thing to have and the passives make a difference you cannot ignore if you want to play this game at least a bit competitively. But I like how my character look, if I don't get engaged in my character, I just don't play a game. That's pretty simple.

I have been struggling since release with the lack of character cuztomisation ZOS gave to us that EVERY OTHER MMO has given us. EVERY MMO makes you change your gear, your appearance. ESO is the only exception and for what reason ? in other MMOs people even pay for the ability to change their gear. ZOS is losing money, people are unhappy, it's a losing game for everyone here. This is ridiculous. I hate VAMPIRES and I have to play one. It doesn't make any sense.

It is stupid to think that choosing between looking good or having a winning advantage over other players is ok. It is bad game design.

Kinda wish we had 5 "vampirism" skins. Mortal, and one for each stage. Then let us override our visuals via that.

Alternately, I'm still kinda a fan of the idea that you'd scale your appearance based on slotted vampire abilities and your stage.

    But this is an MMO.

MMOs are about min-maxing for endgame and looking good. You shouldn't have to decide between the two. That's bad MMO game design.

Gameplay benefits should only have gameplay drawbacks. Right now, you are punished, pretty severely, for caring how you character looks, in an MMO.

Seriously ZOS, how hard can it be to implement a client side toggle for this?

How does the option to hide the horse upgrades even works? For example if I choose to hide the bags do other people still see them? If the answer is YES then there is no reason to not add a toggle in the options for stuff like vampirism or whatever other visual skin that you could think of, for example lighting form or spiked armor, as long as it only works client side there would be no problem.

Of course it is a choice.

Choose the bonuses then choose to look ugly.

No one is forcing you to be a vampire.

You just want to pretend you are "forced" to be vampire so you can get all entitled and whine about being ugly.

    Don't want to be ugly?
Don't CHOOSE to be a Vampire.

That is what I did, and you'll not hear me complain about missing out on those bonuses - because it WAS MY CHOICE.

Just like it WAS YOUR CHOICE to be ugly to get those bonuses.

    Stop whining and man up.
