It honestly feels like AD and EP avoid each other. EP used to zerg Shor down since shortly after it went live. I remember QAM holding emp to block them from night flipping. Literally had always been the problem.

Now where are they? running groups in IC? How is it DC has low pop bonus every single night sometimes for a short time, sometimes the entire night, yet there are no EP to be found?

MEanwhile, AD is very active until about 6pm, then when competition ramps up, Colorful Canoe leaves, and unless the Shogunate shows up, AD doesnt put up a fight so it becomes a "Revenge Bang" of DC taking as many objectives as they can until they cant.

smh. If everyone would actually stop worrying about emp, and actually fight, we'd be good to go here in ol Shor.

Like, Requiem is mainly off the table. I had a group of 7 tonight which rapidly dropped to 5 and we were just having fun. So i really dont know what other groups are out there anymore. I think Call to Glory is still pug herding. I can get you in touch with their GM. but i mean, what are you looking for?

Are you always solo? if so, why?

A lot of people whom i see burn out from ESO at least in pvp, are those burdened with immense frustration of feeling ineffective in pvp which being solo is a large contributing factor.

Think about it, you got no core group of friends to motivate you to log in. you solo queue BGs and get sloaded to death, you solo open world and get zerged and cant do anything about it because youre by yourself, you try and tel var farm but you get zerged and lose your stones.

Like, this is not a game meant for solo. unless you are willing to put in the extra effort and willpower to overcome what i just listed.

I do actually run duo a lot, and I know that’s not the best but we play a Templar healer + stamina warden combo and have a lot of fun. I just don’t know if many good small scale PvP guilds playing on AU or Asia time. I tried one or two but it just wasn’t my style of play, a little too zergy.

@Vapirko been a while since we've run into each other on Shor but I play odd hours too. Happy to duo any time you want the hand.

I really like duo over solo these days. That bit of misdirection or scramble you can induce when moving two different directions, that one extra heal you can toss to one another, seems to make all the difference this patch.

Duo/trio PVP is the most fun I've had in this game. Everyone I've duoed with has eventually quit ESO though. It's enough to make a guy self-conscious.

The AD emp Zerg contained so many non zerging 1vXers at 3 bars AD to 1 bar DC lol. Good fun to watch.

I might have given Shor my last go last night. Nothing but AD stacking in DC home keeps "because Vivec is laggy" while ignoring EP's slow march out of their home keeps and into the emp ring. And the amount of times the elite players ran from our 4-man until they could come back with superior numbers or guard support was truly a highlight of the evening.

And at least for me, performance wasn't noticeably better than the last time I was in Vivec.

I know I sound pretty salty, but honestly I've had some fun in Shor the last few times I've been there. There are several EP and AD who I'm friendly with and have had great fights with (wins and losses). But the bottom line for Shor is that DC has no real presence, AD is primarily there to farm DC at the gates until an emp zerg logs on, and EP treats it like an AP farm and not a real campaign. Hard to blame them; it isn't a real campaign.

I know some people in this thread like to blame specific players for this trend, but I don't think it's anyone's fault in particular. Any problems attributable to any specific players could be alleviated if there were simply more people consistently showing up in Shor. The reason they don't do that is that ZOS has neglected and, in some ways, chased away the part of their playerbase that's interested in the kind of PVP that a place like Shor (or Haderus before it) can offer.

I logged in last night thought about running around Shor. Saw the map all yellow and decided to go work on my build. Built my Templar out less of a brawler so I can do some zerg surfing with more than just my sorc

Log in this morning remote screwing off at work again building my NB more for outskirts roaming smaller scale. Looked at map. All blue.

Sure by the time I’m done with real life responsibilities today, it will be all yellow again. It’s become an emp swap, PvDoor campaign.

PvP is in a sad state for me. I only have AD characters (besides a mDK that isn’t max level on DC). My home has always been Haderus/Shor since Vivec/Truflame is literally unplayable for me. Every time I log in the map in Shor is painted yellow, and there is nothing to do cause I refuse to go up into trikeeps when the map is that yellow.

I think I’m going to need to level that DC character up to max so that I can at least find some fights when I log in, and help push back the *** AD has been pulling lately.

The Shor AD Zerg is by far the most annoying to play against, day after day, yellow map after yellow map.
Coming from me, who got Emperor on Shor 4 times within 40 days on 4 difference characters, including at least once on each faction.

I will say my DC character was by far the hardest to get Emperor on, it took me 2 mil AP earned. 05/18/2018
Whereas I got Emperor on an AD character 4 days later with only 500k AP earned, lol. 05/22/2018
All 3 EP characters, including the 2 most-recent ones, were around 1 to 1.5 mil AP earned, each.

5-time Shor Former Emperor. And, still got 4 more characters to go.

AD is the worst. When you are playing as them half your pugs are in stealth not helping at all, and when you fight them it's all snipe spammers and sorcs. DC tends to be uncoordinated and independent until suddenly they all focus on one thing (usually Chalman). EP... usually when I've fought against EP it's when they are zerging hard, so I'm not really sure how to characterize them when they are normal.

Decided to try Shor tonight. Regretted it.

AD is the reason I haven’t gotten to play a lot of PvP. I’ve basically just solo queued BGs because I login, hop over to cyrodiil, and find a very yellow map. I’m not able to play late EST right now and miss out on all the larger-scale play late evening most nights.

I can imagine our snipes are no fun too. I’m still looking to think up a good stamwarden gank build.

Pretty sure I'll catch flak for saying this even though everyone else is saying it too, but AD killing the campaign.

That would make 2 of the 3 vet camps dominated by the same faction. I understand that AD was the underdogs back before Krotha pushed for partnership, but thats been months ago and I'm not sure what hte motivating drive is anymore for AD to do the things theyre doing.

Shor is on life support. I feel like i've been hanging onto a dream and I was a fool. Going to be trying out Sotha and Vivec over the weekend now that I can play during those times.

I'd say it's been real fun guys, but it wasnt.

They sure weren't killing last night. They wiped us a few times, but were never in a position to take the map back. Oh and it was DC PUGz not pugs.

Thinking about it; I wonder how it would go to have a campaign that only opens on weekends. Lasts from Friday evening until Sunday night at midnight. Make it to where everyone has it as a second home to catch that Vivec spill over. No faction swap. 1 character per account

After you logged, the DC group did fairly well. They got a scroll back, then Animosity basically delivered Chim to the EP side after some scenic detours. Some DC were hitting EP, but honestly it was hard to blame them given the alternative.

We started to make some progress until a Vivec AD ball group decided that poor AD needed help in Shor. Fighting 4v20 stacking Riposte, Sloads, Duroks and Thurvokun while spamming Time Stop and Rune with emp, scroll and keep buffs is totes fun, right? We were not performing well last night as a group (it's been 6 months after all), but even so, that's not even remoting entertaining to fight against.

I can find more small fights in Vivec now than Shor; no reason to pop in there except for Auld Lang Syne.
