    Remove the "hidden" 0.1 second cast time from the Spectral Bow to improve functionality and improve ease of use.

    Increase light attack requirement to 5 light attacks BUT change the proc so that the ability does not need to be recast-- firing the Bow would simply reset the number of light attacks needed to fire it again....
    ^Wrote this about Grim Focus in another thread on May 3rd. Seems like this will be a nice buff for NB damage! If so, this is me taking credit for the buff. You're all welcome. B)

    If not a buff...It totally wasn't my idea, what a stupid change. *shakes fist at ZOS* o:)

    Why does the game go live with *** like this, seriously. Not game breaking but seriously, why can't you fix it (like all the other bugs) before it goes live and we have to wait 6 months and pray for you to open your eyes for once.

    I think @Wrobel and @ZOS_RichLambert should open world on a mDK on Trueflame every night for the entirety of this Update. I'm thinking this is the only way I'll ever see another patch notes I'd actually look forward to reading

    We're in complete agreement on that. I don't think anyone of influence at ZOS plays a Magicka DK in PVP. I have asked this a couple of times recently on the forums and I also asked it in the rolling Twitch chat on Friday's ESO Live and I have been ignored every time. MDKs have so many weaknesses in PVP that we're only going to hear more stories about guilds telling their members to reroll because they bring nothing of value to PVP and they are dead almost instantly if they stray from the herd. Their DPS, sustain, self-heals, stuns and shields are a complete joke. Their burst DPS, ranged DPS, escape mechanisms and executes are non-existent. MDKs are nothing more than free AP on Trueflame.

    I'm just thankful I have battle ready characters in the other classes I can take to Cyrodiil and Battlegrounds once Morrowind arrives because ZOS has completely ruined Magicka DKs and worse, they have shown they do not understand and do not care about the problems faced by MDKs in PVP.

    As always, I welcome @Wrobel and @ZOS_RichLambert to prove me wrong!

    For those asking about igneous Sheild, it's something we're aware of and working on, but likely won't have a solution in place in time for launch.

    The immediate fix is quite simple. Simply code it work the same way fragmented shield works.

    Where is the Dk tank nerf ? and the templar healer nerf ?

    If everybody want a nerf of the sorcerer , just for be able to reach as much dps as they did , this seems clear to me that the Bis tank class / bis heal class should be nerfed to be as good as the heal sorc / tank sorc .
    ah ? somone want to ask me why i want a nerf instead of a buff to the tank sorc / heal sorc ? Maybe because nobody thought about a possible " up " of other class in term of dps , instead of nerf everythings .

    Nightblade's Grim Focus feedback (IMPORTANT!):
    • If you lose ~0.25-0.33s during PERFECT rotation you will NOT get 3rd Assassin's Will bow proc - Merciless Resolve wears off EXACTLY after light attack and BEFORE activating last proc (~19.66-19.75s out of 20s).
    • If you bar-swap during your rotation you're 99.99% likely NOT to get 3rd proc!
    • If you miss 1 single light attack - you will not get 3rd proc!
    • This skill definitely should go up to 22-24 seconds or return back to 4 light/heavy attacks

    Quick details:
    G + LS + LS + LS + LS + LP + LS + LS + LS + LS + LP + LS + LS + LS + LS + LP! + again repeat: G + (...)

    G = Grim Focus Cast
    LS = Light attack + Skill weaving
    LP = Light attack + Assassin's Will Proc

    The last proc (bold LP!) is being cast around ~19.66-19.75s out of 20s Merciless Resolve. This makes it extremely easy to miss and will happen in 99% scenarios. I'm positive it wasn't meant to work like that.

    You can now fire multiple Assassin’s Will or Assassin’s Scourge bow procs from a single cast of this ability and its morphs.
    Increased the amount of Light or Heavy Attacks needed to obtain an Assassin’s Will or Assassin’s Scourge bow proc to 5 attacks from 4.
    Merciless Resolve (Grim Focus morph): Reduced the duration of the snare from this morph’s Assassin’s Will bow proc to 3 seconds from 5 seconds.

    Put the proc chance back to 4 please. this is ridiculous. i assume we'll still have to attack 5 times in a given buff duration to get the thing to proc so we can activate the assassin's will/scourge? Please put this back to 4.

    ZO$ I finally get it!! You the devs are the majority who play the game. So just give everyone the one weapon and armor you guys want us to use since we are being forced to play how you guys choose. Get rid of the other classes beside sorc and warden and that should make you devs happy.. Smh

    You might want to read the other patch notes first before asking where those nerfs are.

    Welp, this was the determining factor on whether I continued playing or not. I like the fact that you have to sustain now but the changes to class abilities are awful. Didnt play last patch dont see any real reason to play this patch either. Sad.
    Changes to Igneous, unneeded. Siphoning attacks needed nerfed for patch but not changed to the way it is now. Dark deal needs nerfed. Change to merciless is good. Reduced cost of a couple Mag DK abilities is good. Changing what key class abilities do entirely instead of nerfing the numbers is not smart.

    why not just revert the changes to light and medium armor nerfs for cost reduction? it would ease the pain and make people less pissed.

    Just add this to the break fee dodge nerf. The 28% cost increase.
    This recent update has made me sad. Sad for the game. Sad for the community. Sad to pay whatever it is now. I want the previous eso back.

It's fine if I am, but it would be good to know.

    They've been nerfing NB Gank all patch so this is not unexpected. This is a Sustained DPS buff though, this ability will be more important as the damage casts are free and so if we average 2-3 attacks per buff cycle that's a pretty sizable attack for no resources. I wouldn't be surprised to see this become a go to ability for PvE NBs. I'm interested in seeing some Bow/Bow parses with these changes.

    The majority of ZoS changes are based on pseudo statistics. Its one of the major problems with their development team, and why we see so many "wait - you're nerfing or changing what again?" type decisions. They make the majority of their decisions based on how many morphs are chosen, how many people have a certain set slotted, etc. without taking time to understand the reasons behind the choices. They aren't changes/fixes/balances born out of identified problems or creativity.

    Its why Velocious Curse (attempted) to get changed. Its why BSW gets a nerf. Its why we got a new ability called magickasteal. It's why CP is now front-loaded. Its why pets got 3x buffs. Rather than find a creative solution/niche to pets, they just buffed the ever living crap out of it until someone was inevitably bound to start using it (PvE dps). It goes on and on.

    Its why we're being homogenized. Its statistically driven balances.

    Their idea is that balance will come with all skills, all sets, and all classes are used in equal proportion. Wrobel science is pseudo statistically driven decisions, not creative game-play identified (targeted) balance fixes.

    Don't be surprised if this gets fixed the way they fixed the disorient issue with Luminous Spear.
    Problem: Disorient from spear being broken on burning light proc damage.
    Solution: Just remove disorient from ability.
