Lock Alliance Faction To Account

PvP alliance should be locked to account. You should be able to play any race in any alliance but once you pick a faction to fight for in Cyrodiil that's it or a huge cost to change. Switching toons depending on the how things are going on the map shouldn't be allowed.

No thank you. I like to play for whatever faction needs help and not for the winning team. I also prefer to play how I want and don't let zerglings ruin that cause they switch 2 win.

To have a healthy PVP community it helps for people to switch and help out the losing side. Sometimes re-rolls are necessary to help balance out an alliance/campaign. Switching Toons to the winning side is what solos do but they don't determine map control or winning campaigns that's what guilds do.

It also allows you to get to know the opposing alliance guilds/players and built respect for them. There is less trash talking and bad behavior when you know them.

I have mains in all 3 factions. Account locked would be a horrible solution to your problem.

Back when we still had a lot more campaigns, you could not have two characters in the same campaign if they weren't in the same faction.
That solved the problem you are complaining about.

Unfortunately, ZOS has been systematically cutting down on the number of campaigns and was forced to abandon the campaign restrictions.

Yes please. Soo sick of the gitguds grouping up, switching alliances (in the same campaign) and getting massive AP bonuses off easy to kill zerglings.

They are soo afraid to fight each other. Its quite pathetic

Azura is AD with every scroll and most of the map . If you like PVE in PVP zones then ok but there is no competition happening there in the slightest .

I would leave it wide open, keep the different campaigns for different rulesets but then have a singular scoring system, and your score then becomes account wide. Then you limit each faction in each campaign to be no more than 5% more than the lowest populated faction. Then provide a bonus on the lower populated faction. I'd even allow players to declare a faction of their choosing when entering the campaign.

This way, you spread people out among the different campaigns without hurting their AP score and allow them and even encourage them to go to less populated campaigns and/or less populated factions

Does that make sense? I have had a few beers tonight because the PVP has sucked. Its pretty much wait in queue, get your *** pushed being outnumbered in another campaign, or be the *** pusher in the 3rd on NA DC.

When have you last been on? DC definitely did not dominate the last campaign cycle if thats what you mean. I beleive EP took it and DC was low pop. Now AD is taking it and DC is all but non existent.

I'm AD . I'm not going to contribute to that mess and camp one keep with 100 people . DC dominated last campaign and now AD dominant faction this campaign . Sounds like great time for faction swapper . I stay one faction for a long time win or lose . BwB AD is doing well and there is competition . It's a shame not all campaigns are competitive since they've lowered pop caps several times .

It would be one thing if we were just losing. The faction has disappeared. It went from whatever happened with DC zerging the map to Glademist falls and people that are there of the 2 bars just throw their hands up as we drop to 1 bar. I can't help but wonder if that DC zerg followed the crowd to EP or AD. Of course, I also wonder what happened to all the EP that was there last week.

I'm just frustrated is all. I went from logging off about a month ago because my faction (DC) took all the map over night and overwhelmed to logging off to basically being outnumbered. The only fights I find are when I come across some small groups of gankers vs other gankers. Arenas will make this happen without having to sneak past the zerg, but I like Cyrodiil and wish us players regulated our selves better.

These campaigns flip because one faction does move to another after winning . There is less PvP'ers then ever . Pop caps are at an all time low . If this was supposed to bring faction balance to campaigns by allowing everyone to swap , I'm going to say it was not successful . If it was , then PVP population would be on incline and new servers opening . Campaigns would be close like TF NA . TF is just laggy but competition is present . Everywhere else not so much . I see the same people on factions that are winning that claim they swap to help underdogs all the time . I don't buy that nomsense ever .

When battlefields come expect population in campaigns to shrink even more . At least those will be competive and a reason to buy Marrorwind .

Would be wonderful to lock factions to account IF they had done it from the start of the game. Would have given a ton more incentive to play the map and boosted faction pride.

But today almost every one has made rerolls on all factions, it's too late for that.
