yes. but that's because I missed out on a LOT (ok most) direct purchases so I'm pretty much guaranteed to get something I want and have it be worth it, no matter what. that said. I tend to not keep buying them after I get several of the armors/pets/etc i was interested. becasue there are so many repeats, I usually end up with a bunch of shards after 2 packs of 15, so I use them to buy whatever outfit/pet I didn't get to drop. bear in mind that I'm perfectly ok with not getting apex rewards. actualy more interested in prior tiers.

also.. I don't buy crates, unless crowns were on sale as well (and/or with subscription crowns). but again, because I don't have so many of the old pets/outfits it works out for me out of sheer probability, but the more of them you buy - the less of a value for the money they become, even for me. so I stop after 1 or 2 packs of 15 per shipment at most.

Yep. I don't regret it either, because to regret something is to admit it was a mistake. I knew very well that purchasing crown crates brought with it a high probability of not receiving what I wanted. I made the choice to gamble, and nobody else forced or enticed me no more than those billboards on the highway for casinos force or entice me. ZOS employs a legitimate means of gaining capital and I'm willing to contribute money toward it as long as I continue enjoying ESO. Once I no longer enjoy the game, I will move on and contribute money toward another game I find joy in. Simple as that.

No, I haven't bought crown crates, crown store exclusive motifs, or mimic stones.

The inclusion of just one crown crate in the Morrowind pre-order is, IMHO, given the odds of getting useful or enough gems to obtain anything of worth to the player, a bit insulting. I would have preferred the emote pack instead. Overall, I found the pre-order offerings rather bland, but since I was going get the chapter anyways, might as well get the extras too.

Still sitting on a pile of sub and sale bought crowns. There were several items in the last season, and several in this season that I would buy individually, but I'm not gambling my money away to try and obtain them. So instead of ZOS getting more money from me over and above my sub, they got less. I'm not even sure the sub price is worth it to me anymore at this point. I have plenty of money IRL to afford them, but the reason I do have plenty of disposable income is I've made smart financial decisions over the years. I'm very loyal to companies who value me as a customer, but don't look back at companies who try to take advantage of me. ZOS is moving closer to the latter category for me.

Looking at my surplus of crowns and the stagnant Crown Store, is now cause for me to seriously consider looking somewhere else to spend my gaming dollars. I'm actually very happy Morrowind doesn't release until June 6th since I have four copies of the physical CE preordered, that I need to make a decision on. That would be a nice sum to reallocate in my gaming budget.

I still love playing ESO, but the business decisions ZOS has made over the last year are really starting to make me lose the sense of loyalty I have for the game. I used to be passionate about the state of the game, now I'm just starting to feel meh and spending more time researching other games. I've always been a one MMO guy...my history is Neverwinter Nights (the old AOL version), The Realm, Asheron's Call, WoW, ESO. Leaving ESO at this point would be the shortest run I've had in any of them. It's too bad because I feel there is a quality product here getting buried under mismanagement.

yes because I get crowns with my plus membership and there is nothing else in the crown store I want to buy. I already have all the DLCs so why not just spent the crowns and see what I might get. I am not buying them hoping for anything. But with my crowns from last month I got the banner, the statue, two outfits, a hat, and two pets along with some other junk that I changed over for gems. Woo hoo for me since I didn't care going into it what I got. If your going into this hoping for x,w, or z your going to be very upset at the odds. This is no different then playing at the casino. The house will almost always win. But until there is something else in the store worth buying for me I will keep spending my sub crowns on crates. I am not investing anymore money in them then the money for my plus membership (and yes I pay monthly that way if I am not going be able to play for a period I can stop paying)

I've purchase the middle pack but not sure if it counts as a purchase because ZOS gave many of us on Xbox one 10k in crowns due to not recieveing crowns for eso Plus over the year in 2016.

These were in excess to this not granted but sometimes granted after tickets

yes, i like some of the items and i get 1.5k with the eso+ so if i cant find anything i like in the store to save money and there is something i like in the boxes i gamble the *** out of them, been lucky so far got an atronach mount and almost enough gems to get a wild hunt mount in this season just need this month eso+ dupes or who knows maybe im lucky and rng jesus loves me and i can save those 370 to the next season lol.
