When the storm atro crates came out & bought a 5k crown pack with my ESO+ crowns. Even though I got one apex mount (Atro Bear) I was still underwhelmed by the results... so i won't be buying any more. ESO randomness seldom goes my way so it would be just wasteful to keep blowing my crowns on them.

I haven't. I'm not opposed to it. I've looked at it. But it really doesn't interest me all that much.

To be honest, I'm not even sure what the current rewards are. I'm guessing maybe some sort of green-trail-leaving-mount thing based on what I've seen in Craglorn though.

Purchased last session as I wanted one of the armored robes hard.
The costumes are nice but town wear, not something who fit in an dungeon.
Cost me 7 crates I think before I bought one, got all sort of stupid stuff I did not need, the duck is nice in the pound outside the mansion however. It was an bit more expensive than I expected but the crown was unused from eso+.

Two sort of people enjoy the crown crates, people with don't care about spending $100 on an in game item as they are rich.
And fools who don't understand statistic.

My theory is that if I never tried them, I could not honestly have an opinion on whether they were good or bad. I only used a some ESO+ crowns I had collected and ended up with items that simply consumed inventory space - they are not for me.

However I plan to purchase 3-4 of the 5500 Crown packs when they next go on sale in order to stock up for a long time (22000 Crowns).

I plan to spend 5000 Crowns to purchase a 15 Wild Hunt Crown Crate bundle because I've purchased very little from the Crown Store overtime, and I'm bound to get plenty of mounts, costumes, and other collectables I would love to have that amount to far more than 5000 Crowns.

Plus I may get a Wild Hunt mount which I would love to have my future Warden ride. So essentially 5000 Crowns for lots of stuff I actually want, with Wild Hunt being the only theme I like a lot amongst the Crown Crates themes.

An warden need to ride an bear and have an bear pet.

Yep, wanted to maybe try for at least one storm mount, though wasn't set on it. Wanted something else from those... got the storm camel anyways in a pack of 15 along with enough gems to get what I wanted.
For wild hunt I really like and wanted the spriggan themed mounts, namely the wolf and senche. So got some( 34 crates) 2x15... ended up with the wolf and camel instantly, only needed 43 more gems to get the senche... oh hey now I have the senche from the first crate and a pile of gems I now don't know what to do with.

There were other things I like in there, but I do admit I feel shamefully dirty and remorseful for what I've done. Guess rng punished me the other way around.

Will say the audio pop/clip from the wolf kinda ruins the mood...

There is always 1-2 things I want and they are usually not in the APEX tier. If they were available for straight-up crowns I probably would have purchased a few but based on a few anecdotal experiences of others here on the forums and what I saw on YouTube, they would end up costing me more than I was willing to spend. Spending a bunch of crowns and not ending up with what you want is lame.

Keep RNG in the game, not in the cash shop IMO.

I bought one with some extra crowns from when I bought a 3 set costume from a year ago. I got nothing that would ever make me want to buy another one, ever. I will continue to buy sure things from the crown store, but I will not waste money on a gamble that doesn't give actual real life money. I would love to have some of those mounts, but I am also totally cool with never getting them.

There were a couple of things in the crates that I wanted - like that cute little purple pig, but I will never spend a cent on those filth crates.
For me, doing so would be saying "Hey, I think these things are all right" and I don't think they are. At all.

What makes me laugh is all of the people who threatened to harass anyone in-game that purchased a mount from the Crown store (i.e. the elk mount), because they thought it was overpriced. One genius was harassing me in tells about my elk mount while he was mounted on Crown crate mount.
