Loved the double AP - ZOS please have this type of event in the future. The population increase was fantastic. AZ NA PC was a lot of fun this week. :)

I think one thing to take out of this event is:

ZOS for the love of god - take care and create content for your pvp crowd and try to attract players to cyrodiil. PvP on full servers is more fun than an empty campaign.

True that. You know how nice it was to actually have a choice of sever to play on because they all had population.

I think we should stress test the servers for one more week with double ap and cp. You know for testing ;)

From my understanding everything is supposed to continue as normal. But hey, maybe I missed something.

    @ZOS_BrianWheeler

    The Leaderboards are not frozen.
What Brian meant was that we won't be resetting or touching the leaderboards in any way; they will still run as normal during this week.

I've personally had insane lag over the past week. I'm not sure why. Generally I have a ping anywhere between 10-50ms but over the past week it has been well over 100ms, often pushing 300+ms. That's an increase of over 100% in the best case...

Frame rates have also been poor and turning down my graphics settings did not seem to affect it at all.

It's worth noting that this has been occurring in Cyrodiil, dungeons, trials, and overworld zones.

I would really like to see a fix to the streak issue. I got stuck in Alessia Bridge and resource towers all week long. That freeze is dreadful.

On the testing, I really enjoyed Cyrodiil the past week. I know a lot of veterans oppose a permanent No CP Cyrodiil...but I really felt it addressed a lot of issues and made the overall atmosphere fun. With that in mind, other elements would need to be adjusted (ie poisons), but the power crutches currently provided by CP has made Cyrodiil just unpleasant outside of last week. Players in general, especially experienced, I like to think enjoy counterplay and I have found that to be much more available this past week.

I like to also think CP could be the answer in separating PvE/PvP issues.

    Just my 2 cents

I don't ever PVP but this really got me in the game.... it was just great fun! Heaps of people!

Although for someone who gets super high speeds (100Mbit p/s) I had a lot of lag and dc'ing. Funny part was where all players froze but you could still run around everywhere. No one moving and no one dying. I'd play more PVP if they did this more often as events. Maybe create another Haderus with double AP? Unfortunately you can't please everyone.... but judging by the huge queue wait times, you've also impressed a lot of people!

PVP with no cp is so much better. Like people actually have to play smart and watch their resources instead of going on all out with barely any repercussions because of their cp carrying their mishaps and filling in their stats.

I thoroughly enjoyed no cp. Took the high road and solo'd the entire weekend (probably spent about 30 hours from friday - sunday the final weekend of the event) on my stamplar and came out at number 42 on the leaderboard with 1,350,000AP.

I have to say, PVP feels MUCH Better with no CP. The real issue with CP is that it allowed every build to accomplish everything. Magplars could have infinite resources in heavy armor with double sword and board, stam DKS could be almost completely unkillable without worrying about resources whatsoever, magsorcs could completely wreck house with destro ulti while being almost invincible from shield stacking without worrying about resources, and if you didn't land a DOT on a magblade then RIP to your chances at getting that kill if they decided to run.

With CP, all of these builds had to adjust. They all had to SACRIFICE an aspect of their build in order to become effective in the areas they wanted to focus on. My stamplar really only lacked sustain prior to the CP event, but with no CP I had to completely switch my build up and ended up using the serpent mundus and health/stamrecov food (which cost me an EXTRA 10% crit and a ton of stamina).

I think that, while certain changes must be made, no CP pvp really goes a long way towards encouraging real skill & counterplay instead of cancerous, unkillable DD TANK HEAL builds. I really hope that they'll consider making AZURAS/no cp campaigns more rewarding to encourage people to play on them, because the sad truth is that once people get their CP back the majority will still have no interest in playing without their crutches.

I see a lot of people enjoy no CP... Azura's Star is a no CP campaign. We can continue there. I would however agree with Liam and say it would be nice to see an extra. Incentive to that campaign so the players that like no CP have a place to play that has a better shot at having more players then the usual 1 bar across all factions and occasionally 2 bars on one or two factions. This way the players that enjoy CP still have full servers and less que times on their servers while the ones that enjoy no CP have a place to play where hopefully they will more consistently have players on. I play both and appreaciate my options of having the choice to run CP or no CP but when you get on the no CP campaign and nobody else is on it gets boring quick.

The CP isn't a factor. I play Vet CP and non vet and it's just as bad in non vet as the Vet CP...

Which campaigns? I am comparing Vivec and Trueflame. If you're comparing Vivec and Sotha, then I don't think we're talking about the same kind of lag. (I'm speaking of server processing lag)

I'm going to go out on a limb and say the problem is that ESO uses TCP instead of UDP. Until that is changed, lag isn't going anywhere.

I don't have much experience with UDP but I would imagine there will still be lag spikes but instead of having a three or five second cast time if not longer you just wouldn't be casting abilities right? I think either way there will be issues until they find a way to better manage the servers however UDP does seem to handle the minor lag way better. Sorry if there's a bunch of spelling and grammar mistakes lol. Talk to text is a pain haha

so I was playing on Xbox so I'm sure the results will be a little different than yours. I was an event CP campaign in the queue was 120 so I know it was a packed server. I camera the name because they just recently changed. The other server with no CP was the non-bet server. This is why I disagree with champion points being the issue because the nine that you have no champion points and you rarely see proc sets but I still get the same lag in response times as before. On both occasions I would get dashboard regularly. I would also have instances where abilities with that cast, you cannot bar swap and then on top of that your character we poured all over the map like it's trying to catch up. I can't remember the command to see frame rates for consul and to be honest I'm not sure if that command works on consul.

Like some of you have noted, the meter doesn't show the absolute ping as it occurs on a second to second basis. That doesn't make reporting your ping and FPS useless however as combining that with your current activity in your reports helps out. We can look at those time frames reported and compare them to our server status graphs.

As for how the week went; we're going through the performance graphs and data this week as well as AP/XP gains and deciding on future tests, campaign changes, client/server perf. The feedback has been great pointing out performance, server connection, fps and general combat feedback of CP vs. NonCP. On a personal note, it was great week of action, especially last night at the Chalamo in Azura against AD and DC trying to dethrone our Emp!

Thanks everyone for the feedback and participating on a grand scale! We hope to see some of the new faces stick around Cyrodiil whether your banner is yellow, blue or red!

@ZOS_BrianWheeler do you have some data about this even? What is the difference of the server load in CP and non CP campaign? I could be wrong but I think you have never posted any charts or data as it was promised.

Can we have an idea what was your team evaluation and what ZoS decided as a company?
    Because I can!
