Yeah, but you can do it on a single target only. Swap it for destro ulti, and you will do 25k damage in a large radius.

Yet in vet PvP is basically only good for xv1'ing, apart from the few people who use it effectively solo.

Might be time for you to move onto a different campaign.

    There are counters for it.

Also, non-vet PvP is generally new players still getting on their feet.

If you head to a vet server where players are more seasoned, you'll quickly find it's not OP ...

You are not a seasoned PvP'er when the majority of people you play against are vastly inexperienced. Your own thought of Soul Strike being OP demonstrates you and the people you are fighting lack basic counter play knowledge.

Nothing. The point was no seasoned player would waste time in nonvet. Nor could you call yourself seasoned playing that level of competition. I understand some vets like noncp though.

There are as many noobs in TF as in bwb. Many players never steped into cyrodil pre vet and even some noobs join Other campaigns instead of bwb
The only differences between azura and bwb are less lag, nearly no proc Sets and no destro ulti spam

    Incorrect.

Someone who doesn't know basic counter play, playing against other people who don't know basic counter play, claiming a skill is OP. You are being judged on your basic lack of knowledge.

    Here, I'll help you out:
    • Stamina: Block and heal
    • Magicka: Shield and heal if even necessary
    • Nightblade: Cloak after magelight orb vanishes

Against most people who use Soul Strike (not running Soulshine, not built for max damage, using it as an opener) pop a HoT and/or shield and unleash on them. They will panic cancel their ultimate.

If you truly are doing 20k damage to players, that is a very clear and obvious indication they have no clue what they are doing. Skills are not "OP" because you can kill inexperienced players who have not yet learnt a counter play.

Edit: It's like saying Blazplars are OP, they really are not, it's just that even fewer people know how to counter that playstyle.

When this ultimate is used against me, I just shrug it off then run away since it draws multiple toons to attack me. If I have a ultimate ready then my eyes open wide as all the free kills attack me thinking they have an easy kill, only to get the tables turned and have their hp reach zero real quick. Feelsgoodman

It does something like 8.5k damage per second. But makes the caster vulnerable to damage (blocking cancels it). Most dps can score hits of 6k+ on their main spammable damage ability, coupled with 2.5k or so from animation cancelled light attacks that's also 8.5k per second. So what exactly is overpowered about the ultimate? If all else its channel duration should be halved to make it more useful considering its rather high ultimate cost.

So? A skill isn't OP because it wrecks "noobs" who have not had the experience to learn counterplay yet.

It gives you a free unmitigated tick of damage. If they are not stunned then they will just block or heal or shield through it. If you get them with a nice burst them drop them on the ground them pop the ultimate. Or run them out of stam them run it. Well you get more bang for your buck.

Sorry, it's not OP, it's weak.

I laugh when someone launches Soul Strike on me in Haderus our Trueflame as they do me literally nothing, to the point I believe they even replenish some of my missing health. :D

Honestly, when I'm hit with Soul Strike my health bar doesn't move at all.

Pretty much. Blackwater Blade is basically crafting sets and the occasional 1T set ATM. Everywhere else you have monster helms, proc sets, dungeon sets, champ points, ECT ECT ECT. BwB is simple and sweet. Not super complex and more enjoyable.
