Sounds like they will change the API so that a player gets no information on another player that is considered "hostile." Thereby leaving in place the ability for things like FTC to read a friendly players buffs.

correct, the advantage is VERY minimal, and for a semi decent player barelly noticeble. Only bellow average players will gain anythign from it, and only equally as below average players will complain about it.Addosn in mmos have been debated for over a decade..the veredict is ALWAYS the same..IT ONLY matters for the bellow average population AND it wont turn them "decent" either.
Try to think before you begin using your keyboard. This add-on is nothing about the players skill. Whoever uses it can completely bypass the stealth aspect of the game without equipping magelight, piercing mark etc. Don't back the add-on up because you like training wheels.

✭Holy necro batman. I had forgotten this addon exsisted. Until tonight when i decided to go running around near the abandoned bridge due to horrible lag. I wasnt in stealth, i was perched on a rock with my dark flare slotted and mag damage sets...wouldnt you know it, the first person i come across has the addon. He hadnt seen me, was riding his horse, before the flare left my hands and made a sound he was comming my direction dismounted lol. I ended up killing him...players that rely on addon are trash. He though he was so cool blocking every dark flare...then boom, just as he got to my feet. Volcanic rune sent him up, and dark flare/ unstable core/ javelin (yeah i still use it when targets are CC imune XD) /radiant destruction...done.
He got cocky thinking he was untouchable with cues to dodge roll/ block before flare left my hands...didnt put up shuffle....he should shuffled...
Anyway i cant imagine running a stamblade right now...id have to not run any cast time skills. I guess no one complains about it anymore since no one runs procsets and has stopped ganking. Still doesnt mean we shouldnt keep up the discussion.
The post had 98% negative feedback...zeni still hasnt done anything for it? Other than nerf procsets...5 -

Its not just even stealth that is effected by this, it is all ranged classes that use charge up attacks. The enemy can be running away from a group of 4 and be completely oblivious that they are there , and if they used charge up attacks the target would be able to mystically know to dodge. I am happy that they are looking into this again, but honestly, they need to look at the api, not just miats, because there are some far worse private add ons out there atm.1 -

✭✭✭Please put this on the consoles Though u could just unnerf some of the builds that were a no no for whining stealthflakes, and the eco system would be back in place. A less salty diet for a healthy heart, lol.

ZOS has already toned down accessibility on the API in the past,
previously it was possible to see other players Magicka and Stamina bars through use of add ons
until it was decried as 'unfair'

With the continuous nerfing to players hitting from stealth i doubt it.
How about not walking around in all Divines gear or using the skills the game provided for combating stealthed players or not riding the direct line to a keep thinking your invincible and an enemy you will see from maximum draw distance?
Radiant Magelight and/or stealth potion and you have nulled any gank attempt/Nightblade. ESO plays a combat cue sound anytime you are near a player, maybe turn down those Justin Bieber tunes?
