Double VMA Loot: Which Weapons Did You Get ?

As the event started, immediately jumped in and got one precise dagger, and nirnhoned sword&shield. Fingers crossed for sharpened bow. What did you get ? And is that what you want ?

Let the 14-day double RNG fest begin.

1st week edit:

Ran the arena countless times since the beginning of the event, sometimes did 5 runs in a row. 3 sharpened 1h axe, 1 sharpened greatsword, 1 precise bow and 1 sharpened ice staff (yes, ice staff lol) were the ones worth noticing. I didn't even take the rest because of useless traits. The grind still continues.

Last night i got to the final stage then logged off to do it this morning for 2x drops, i got a sharpened 2h sword and sharpened bow. Successful event so far for me lol. Daggers and axes evade me still tho.

Vet Maelstrom is way out of my league but I already feel sorry for those of you who will be running this non stop and still won't get that perfect weapon you want.

Defending axe and charged maul...bis items, bet you're all jealous. It's laggy as *** though now so leaving it until it dies down tomorrow morning , every kill causes lag.

1. precise lightning staff and s&b defending/impen
2. resto infused, resto nirnhoned
3. resto decisive, s&b infused/nirnhoned
4. dagger infused, s&b decisive/divines
5. Axe defending, lightning powered
6. Dagger sharpened, s&b decisive
7. Dagger defending, resto powered
8. Resto defending, bow infused
9. Dagger powered, resto something useless that I forgot, I'll check later
10. Ice staff sharpened, lightning defending (my winterborn gear will be happy to come out again)
11. 2h maul sharpened, ice staff charged

Could someone queue the "rng" supporters please?

There is no way the chances are remotely the same for a shield and a destro staff.... especially when there has been more than just you now on this forum saying they got TWO shield drops at the same time...and with the same trait no less.
the drops favor shields, bows, and resto staff.... hands down - no question.

Four runs on four chars after event: 3 shield and board, two resto, none powered or precise, two ice staffs, nirn and defending, aaaaaaaaand a powered axe.

It seems that weapons drop in categories:
- Bow (Bow)
- Resto Staff (Resto)
- 1H&S (Sword, Mace)
- DW (Dagger, Axe)
- 2H (Greatsword, Battle-Axe, Maul)
- Destro Staff (Inferno, Ice, Lightning)

therefore, you will end up with most Bows and Restos and least Greatswords, Battle-Axes, Mauls, Inferno, Ice and Lightning Staff...Since each category has the same chance, the chance of obtaining specifically Inferno Staff is 3 times worse than Bow or Resto Staff (because even if you get Destro category, you still have only 1/3 of getting Inferno)

Does this double drop include non vet maelstrom? Also I can't ask or this in game, I'm at work, but what is the spec difference in the drops from normal to vet. Any screen shots showing it would be great. Thank you in advance.

It's for anything to do with Orsinium, so double drop includes normal as well as vet. Basically in normal you don't get the vma weapons at all and all gear you drop is of blue quality, including the jewellery. The normal drops used to be CP150, but they increased it to CP160 recently.

Got a sharp maelstrom battle axe today.
Got a sharp lighting staff yesterday.

Have a sharp 2 handed sword & 2 sharp inferno staves aswell. Seems luck is on my side in vma

I wonder what type of chart(s) our good ole' boy @ZOS_RichLambert has to show us to prove the loot tables of VMA aren't unbiased or rigged. Lmao. 3 runs so far, and 2 out of 3 contained shields. Let me guess. Just bad luck, right? Lol. Restoration Staff was decisive by the way.
