Lol. First run of the event gave me a battle axe in decisive already, but apparently the loot table is random enough to give it to me again. It also gave me my second restoration staff, even though my run before last gave me a restoration staff. Still no destruction staff though, and yet there are people who'll swear out that the RNG in this game is fine.

Proving without a doubt to many people that the drops are not "random" in vMA.

This weighted drop idea is terrible...

Hey ZOS... running the SAME arena dozens - hundreds of times to get 2 or 3 desired weapons isn't "replay value" or "end game content"... make it so we can actually get the items with good traits ... then we can all get back to enjoying the fun parts of the game with our friends instead of being stuck in this solo content hell that pushes so many people to quit.

Are you afraid we won't run the content if you just give us a good chance of getting the right weapons?... here's an idea... change the traits again in an update... people will go back into vMA and re-farm those weapons (as long as drop rates are reasonable)

that being said.... i ran it 2 and 2/3 times last night (went to bed at stage 6 on my 3rd run)

1st run - gotta love the double resto drops...
precise resto staff (my second one of these)
charged resto staff

2nd run
infused sword and shield (my Nth one of these)
nirnhoned inferno (not a terrible drop but its not something i need)

After you get over being mad give it a few more tries your clear times will drastically improve then somewhat stabilize. I must admit I took a few months off after my 1st clear and I got a awesome Ring of the Hunt. You know with the old awesome system when a weapon drop had low chance.

On my first run I got a sharpened dagger and a Charged 2 handed axe. On my second run I got a sharpened dagger and a powered 2 handed maul. LOL it was a good day. Now I just want me a inferno sharpened and I have no reason left to run it lol

Double Bows charged and infused. Meets my low expectations of this event. Broke my 5 S&B drop streak. Probably get Bows several in a row now.

How are you getting so many destruction staves? Bruh WTF? How? And not single 1H/S either!? Regardless of the traits, your loot is INCREDIBLY amazing. 2 inferno staves in the chest on your first run? Are you kidding me? I'd have stopped farming there. But, you've gotten 3 infernos total AND 2 lightnings.

Meanwhile I can't even pull a destruction staff of any kind, and I've never even seen a lightning staff in the final chest since Orsinium was released. WTF is this? Congrats and all, but this is some bs. How is the loot table actually random? N'ah dude. I think there's set values to people's accounts as to what drops and when. It has to be. There's way too many patterns to be ignored, and suspicious things of the sort. No chart that looks like it was whipped up by MS Paint can make me think otherwise either. The loot table for VMA is weighted and definitely rigged.

I'm so happy for you, but so mad at ZOS at the same time. This is some bs. Complete and utter bs. But as I said, I'm done with this pos game if I can't pull what I need in this 2 week timespan. I'm done playing nice with a joke of a RNG system, that literally is rigged from beginning to end.

I hear that. First thing I thought was....what do I do now? I have everything. Pointless housing better hurry up quick. So now my time will be invested in grinding up a stam sorc last build to make. But this is without a doubt the most horrific grind in any game I've played.

Some noobs turn up and get a sharp staff 1st time or when a friend completes it for them and they probably don't even bother with it. Some of us who actually want it for part progress etc are damned for what seems an eternity.

ZOS I hate token systems...but something has to give. Please look at my profile in game and tell me how many runs of vma I have done. Stupid stupid system. I dare you to publish it. Include weekly rewards items too.

Did it 3 times yesterday for my total of 5 actual completions. Got a sharpened bow and an infused bow from the first run, a precise resto and defending dagger from the second, andps the worst onew a powered great axe & a S&B with defending/reinforced. Going back in later today to see if I can't improve my leaderboard rank

@Ch4mpTW Have you seen the traits though.. A no-set random sharpened staff is better than a powered vMSA one. However, it's the first time in my life I've pulled destro staves, after 200+ runs before. And they aren't listed in order either.
I actually have a thread about that. I'm no-lifing vMSA at the moment, well running it as much I can instead of sleeping, since sleep is for the weak.
