Right so double S&B has dropped....if anyone gets double sharp destro I'll eat my console for breakfast...if not @ZOS_RichLambert can these drop rates please please please be sorted out. I know 99% of vma player base will ditch vma immediately after getting one but no one is going to stop subbing afterwards. No need to keep drop rates low for commercial purposes.

It's for anything to do with Orsinium, so double drop includes normal as well as vet. Basically in normal you don't get the vma weapons at all and all gear you drop is of blue quality, including the jewellery. The normal drops used to be CP150, but they increased it to CP160 recently.

Thank @Alucardo, that sort of dampers my plans, I would have just taken lower ranked gear but I see why they did that. I'm afraid my stam dk won't make it, suck on vma level two. I will just keep trying, I might respec him to magicka just for more options but will have to look for a build that I can manage. Thanks again.

Honestly? Infused isn't all that bad. I mean sure. Precise is preferred for the restoration staff, or perhaps powered. But low-key...? I like infused Maelstrom weapons, if I don't have sharpened (my ice staves are infused). And they put in work for my Sorcerer when I used them. Even though I use a sharpened Moondancer lightning staff nowadays, that's besides the point. Infused can put in work, if given the chance. >_>

2 runs tonight
1st got precise battle axe and Defending maul
2nd run dagger and maul both nirnhoned

Will keep at it, still new to completions (<20) and not had the worse luck for sharpened weapons (resto, great sword and battle axe) just not the ideal ones for me.

The only two sharpened weapons that have dropped for me are a 1H Sword and now 1H Mace in 80 something runs.

I also have gotten 8 sword and shield drops from my last 8 runs so maybe my accounts just cursed with horrible rng. I didnt think that was possible but zos are showing how there rng system works. Working as intended.

I've tracked 48 VMA drops, and I can confirm that the 12 weapons do not drop evenly (p < 0.02). My sample is most consistent with each TYPE of weapon having a 1/6 chance, so dagger/axe share, mace/sword share, all three 2H weapons share, and all three destruction staves share, while bows and restoration staves each have their own chance. So your chances of getting a specific weapon are:

Bow - 1/6
Restoration Staff - 1/6

Dagger - 1/12
Sword - 1/12
Mace - 1/12
Axe - 1/12

Greatsword - 1/18
Battle Axe - 1/18
Maul - 1/18
Lightning Staff - 1/18
Frost Staff - 1/18
Fire Staff - 1/18

So if you're hunting a sharpened fire staff, you have a 1/18 chance of getting a fire staff at all, and a 1/8 chance of getting sharpened, for a total chance of 1/144 on each drop. Because of how RNG works, that means after 100 runs, you have only a 50/50 chance at having gotten any particular 2H or destruction staff.
