Vigor should be at rank 2 or 3 it takes so freaking long now :/

Oh and btw OP ignore the toxic pvpers these guys whine and complain about everything and got many skills nerfed.

As stated vigor was reduced twice so I don't think needs another reduction, You would have enjoyed PVP like I did pre 1.7 but these toxic players got skills nerfed, bandaid fixes on broken skills etc. Now its unplayable

Anyway my suggestion would be this, roll in a zerg ( oh and btw these guys will qq about that to lol) and switch to a magic build

- heal allies with resto staff
- ALWAYS repair walls
- Defend keeps more since you get more AP for that than attacking
- bring some friends into pvp with you maybe 5 or 6 it eases the stress and can be some fun
- once again run with a zerg it will keep you alive from the oneshot proc builds

1. You don't need pve gear to compete just because you want to roll the meta, maybe instead of wearing proc sets you can wear PVP seta that can be earned in PVP.

Infact most pvp builds run pvp sets and you don't need to set foot outside of cyrodil for that.

2. If you are really complaining about skill points then you need to play a moba which is a pvp only game and has no skill points this complaint is just down right stupid. Its an MMO which needs skill points as a progression and can be earned by strictly pvping

and earning skyshards which are everywhere in Cyrodiil.

Lastly they made undaunted easy to lvl with daily missions introduced with OT same thing with fighters guild and mages guild.

it is long but i dont mind it the way it is. now if u want the magbomb and caltrops- expect to play alot of pvp.
its funny how some people enjoy pvp and can get those alliance skills in a day- and see pve as true torture- trying to get - say a viper dagger- to them is painful. and there are those that see it the other way around.

fastest way though? grab a resto staff and a bunch of wall bits and get to being a maintenance guy. run at peak hours- find a group and u might get thru it in an evening or two if ur lucky. u might even enjoy it - others seem to!

You can buy black rose with gold from other players. Doesn't get much easier than that.

Vigor can be hard to get if you suck. On my magplar I could get enough AP for vigor in an hour or two. Thing is though, I'm good on my magplar. I have a DK and boy am I terrible on a stam DK. Vigor took forever to get on that alt.

I think what it comes down to is whether youve done it or whether you have to do it again soon. If you've done your time, it can be a sort of badge of honor or effort or whatever and you don't want anyone to get an easy out. If you have to do it again soon, well it looks like an unnecessary hassle, which it kinda sorta is.

Since I don't have to do it again anytime soon, I'm gonna say you have to suffer through like the rest of us.

how about if we leave Vigour where it is and perhaps rework the now totally unused Circle of Protection skill from Fighters Guild line into a flat stamina heal, that way everyone can get what they want

It's faster than getting undaunted rank 9. Yes it is boring if you're just there for the grind but it's worth it IMO.

So you assume me as a pve player because I mentioned BR and disagree with you guys? Funny. I'm a Pvp player and I don't need to attack someone on the forums for having an opinion even though its an unessary one.

Now PvP'ers run the new sets because its the meta( a cancerous meta) but you DON'T need them the compete I use crafted gear because I don't have time for running dungeons and I don't need my gear to get kills for me.

Pvp was better before these sets were introduced wearing them kills pvp combat

you and a group of friends were at a bridge just hanging out and at one point a stranger walks up and says "jump off the bridge and you'll be a real man and will earn a million dollars" your friends start doing it are you going to jump as well jump as well to prove something and get money knowing that it would kill you and your friends?

Btw the do these sets ( besides monster sets) drop in impen? Last I checked they didn't.

I remember when magicka was the face of the game and stam builds didn't exist, Sorcs and templars were balanced, vampire mDks were gods, NB cloak was broken, and bash meta with SnB.

Although stam builds didn't exist at least there was no CP so ppl had to build for sustain or dmg but not both and there wasn't nearly as many proc sets that gave kills for you.

If you ask me,Vigour should be even harder to get. It's just silly. 100k AP is done in at most 3-5hours. (Assuming you do something useful in PvP). Given how much PvP-Players have to grind PvE for various items, expecting someone to get 100k AP ain't even a problem. It seems to me that you just want to get everything handed to you in a silver platter, which is oh-so-wrong.

It so easy to get vigor now of days in 12 hours I could get 4 characters to unlock vigor its such a joke its not even funny.

just did it recently on new character - took approximately 98k...I only average around 10k AP per hour...so, about a week's worth of game time (from level 10 to 18) on that particular character...

when you have no other way of healing yourself effectively - it definitely felt like it took a long time...

And thats why it takes a couple of weeks of pledges to get lame undaunted 9 where it literally takes about 3-4 hours of pvp to aquire the amazing vigor? Makes sense.

And yes... 3-4 hours. Since they nerfed AP requirememts for assault/support skill lines i maxed all my 10 characters out. To assault 10.

You can sit down and in on evening session get your precious vigor you entitled cry baby

I only ask for things that take too long for no reason, its not dumbing down, it not making the game easier its just saving time for people who actually have a life.

There is no point at all to grind a mode that I hate for days, just to get a very basic skill i need. How is this harder? it takes no skill just joining groups and standing there to get AP its just a plain waste of time

Well let me fracken explain it for you.

And firstly... just to be clear. Sometimes weapons are greater than a skill... its fricken eso. And to be clear again... black rose is easy to get. You can buy it from someone. Unlike vmsa wpns. Just sayin.

Its about the challenge of spending time playing content you dont enjoy to attain a near mandatory item or ability for the content you do enjoy.

This is why pve guys cry about the pains they must go to to aquire vigor. 3 to 4 hours of mindlessly repairing keep walls, spamming heals or firing siege in cyrodil. Horrble.

And it is why pvpers *** about what they must go through to get BIS weapons for thier builds. Conqour the most challenging pve content in the game (which the majority of pve players are incapable of). solo.... repeatedly with absolutely no garuntee of ever being rewarded with the desired result. Completely reasonable.
