• PC/Mac: NA and EU megaservers for patch maintenance – April 7, 4:00AM EDT (8:00 UTC) - 9:00AM EDT (13:00 UTC)
• ESO Store and Account System for maintenance – April 7, 9:00AM EDT (13:00 UTC) - 6:00PM EDT (22:00 UTC)
• ESO Store for maintenance – April 10, 12:00PM EDT (16:00 UTC) - 3:00PM EDT (19:00 UTC)

    Not just my characters are missing, but also my guild and my crowns. Any ETA on a fix?

    Is this related? My sister just tried to log into the NA server and it told her that her pc wasn't authorized. She got the email, put in the code and tried to log in. Then a trailer for the Hobbit movie starts playing and when she presses a key it goes to the create a character screen.

    Working as an IT-admin in ISP company! IF u make backup stable and using raid u will never have problem. This problem can happen if the servers are weak with components this problem can occur and the other problems from past!

    Murphys law - just saying. And yes, it CAN happen, even when using RAID.

    Heh, it's only getting worse. First all I had to do was switch to from Live to Live EU, and I could game. Yesterday all my addons were gone and I had to grab some files from the archive folder to fix it. And today, well, you know...

    It is happening to me too.... pc/eu

    First the game totally froze so I had to close it. Then when I tried to log in I was told my pc was not authorised and to get the access code. Log in staight to character select screen.... no characters - please please .... do something. How universal is this? Some players? All players?

    Indeed. My point being, no-one ever said "Have we been hacked". Just Gina saying "No, Nobody HAS been hacked". No one asked in the first place if they had :) Hence the Tin Foil Hat.

    lets wait 20 minutes and see, im in same boat as you, but patience is better because your only going to get information when they release it. No matter how much we ask for it lol

    Yeah, all my characters are gone :( I double checked and I am on the correct server.

    Yeah, i got the cinematic intro as if I launched the game for the first time.
    Also got an "you are not authorized to play this game so we sent you a code via email" popup.

    That was my first thought was that I was hacked or at least my account.
