Devil's advocate: we have a CP cap, catch up system, game wide battle scaling coming, and also a free XP boost coming with the holiday events. In terms of Pay-for-Advantage, XP scrolls are practically irrelevant.

That said, a broken promise is still a broken promise.

I don't even care if they put a straight to max CP scroll in the crown store. Just don't put uniquely powerful gear or combat relevant buffs.

P2W is where you need to pay to get stronger items, like say Neverwinter. Needing an item from the Crown store in order to upgrade to yellow would be P2W. This is just xp faster, give me a break.

Zenimax has been hostile to crafters for a while now. They've made motifs and style items ridiculously hard to require outside of the crown store materials, will now go 2 expansions without introducing a new crafted set, and are now chasing whales while spitting out a ton of potions and poisons in the process. There are maybe 5 crafted sets in the entire game that are worth a squat, and maybe one that is going to be useful once One Tamriel is released. That isn't even mentioning what they did to nirnhoned items... totally ridiculous and unfair.

The only reason I can see these being p2w is because you're getting more exp, which means faster CP, and in return, CP makes you stronger. I don't really care though. Would prefer it if everyone was at, or closer to, max CP. The day they add premium weapons and armor to the crown store is the day I bring out the torches and pitchforks.

I don't care about this one - if people want to pay Zos to get to max power so that they can more quickly compete with the rest of us at max level/cp then let them. They're not giving away gear or anything like that.

Why not poisons that are slightly better than can be found or made in game? People will buy them... and it would just be a small advantage...

LMAO if youre getting wrecked by a scaled player it says more about your set up and your skills as a player than anything else. Maxed Players in PvP single out lowbies because theyre easy pickings. Even with the scaling.

Are y'all really concerned about increased experience? The games been out a long time. Id rather this then changing cp or increasing level caps to reset the playing field..

It was changed when we got our Anniversary Cake... So you could stack the cake, ambrosia, and the crown scroll. I believe they were only supposed to stack during that week, plus the additional time they ended up giving us. No clue if they removed the ability to stack or kept it.

Yeah I know there was an issue that kept the consumables from stacking with the cake bonus and that got fixed but I've yet to hear anything about the consumable sources not stacking before and after.

As someone who is not at max CP, I can see how I would feel pressured to spend money to buy CP if I cared. Fortunately, I don't.

But I am fine with letting people take shortcuts to increase the number of people at max CP since I feel having more people at max CP is a good thing.

I don't know why you assumed I had trouble with anything, or that it isn't a demonstrable fact that scaling results in toons of completely equal gear having different stats, after scaling. This applies to more than your level 10s.

ok right now im getting 993 exp with eso+ and ambrosia
by cp300 template for cp160 zombie

from cp300 to cp400 i need 30 566 777 exp

so i need to kill 30 782 zombies
for example i can kill 1000 zombies per hour
its ~30.7 hours

if you grinding 3 hours per day its 11 days


with eso+ and grand scroll
im getting 1614 per mob

its 18 938 zombies from cp300 to 400
18.9 hours

7 days


7 days < 11 days
