so, I had this plan you see - i was going to play all red (3 different characters) this week...

I know unless it's on the weekend or holiday - depending on when you log in, your game experience can be very different...in regards to pacific standard time - for the most part, pvp has been a fairly disappointing affair from an EP perspective around 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm...total domination...

basically, I need to wait until around 9pm before the blue folks from across the water log on...

good news though is - they're normally pretty good...

AD has closed the gap to first (about a thousand points behind EP) - but, they are no where to be found...well actually they've been trying to avoid being pvdoored...i'm not a big fan of that, so I've been waiting on DC to show up a lot...

wow, that was fast, was paying attention to what I was writing and DC just crowned - go gooch, 4k behind and just crowned emp, nice...

better get back in the fight - good job DC...

Edit: oh look, the emp and a couple of friends just jumped me from behind outside of brk...

@geonsocal - Yeah me and the wife sit next to each other when we play. She's very much a solo player though so we don't group up very often.

@Takes-No-Prisoner - So you're Drogskol? I knew you were someone I'd played with but had no idea who. You have a tiger senche. Do want.

As for the changes next patch, I think there'll be a rush for resource grabs and counter grabs just before the next evaluation . The leaderboards will experience new high scores as the AP rolls in faster. I'm fine with it all except I was hoping they would make scrolls worth something substantial.

As to not many AD must be a time thing, yellow hordes were swamping us.
Thought they had a replicator or all blues were playing yellow.

EP has been lazy last couple days sitting on that lead, we better wake up!

i know you're loyal to the pact (even more so probably to your friends playing EP) - but, visually, one of the more startling sights is to be up on the inner keep wall firing siege (overhead 3rd person perspective) while the red horde pours in through an outer wall breach...not sure if it's juts cuz the red "pops" so much on screen - but, it looks pretty cool, and a little scary

i've got a few screenshots and vids of it (it never gets old and always "looks" really cool to me)...i need to get my stuff together and figure out how to move stuff from the whole "share" factory thing on the ps4 to the forum here...

Had an awesome fight with AD at the Faregyl farm tonight with OJ and Emp and a load of others.
We won that one, but they took revenge on our siege of Alessia so call it even.

quick campaign update (cuz, I don't feel like moving from this particular outpost, and will wait for "them" to show up here...lazy farming )...

okay, so about halfway through, still narrow 1k lead with EP on top, AD close behind and DC trailing from the top by about 3k...

I'm not totally sure if I'm just talking out my whatever - but, I believe it is possible for an alliance to achieve a 1k or so gain in about a weekend...which is to say - if DC ever decides to turn it on, they still have a shot at it???

very very top of the leaderboards ready to hit 8 million AP is rusty arcordion...man - can you even imagine what the top AP players numbers will look like with the new AP reward system...

there should be homesteads available in cyrodiil, and, you should be able to purchase them...just put them in our starter area map (although that alone wouldn't guarantee someone wouldn't be waiting for you just as you stepped out the door )

That being said EP is squabbling amongst themselves too much of late.
They better stop it and stay focused.

DC have been playing better recently but it won't be enough to pull out of last place. Still too much farming going on and not enough defence.

I did make a start on an AD toon and almost immediately received hate mail from a blue when they see me in Cyrodiil and was told not to come back, lol.
For me it's been very odd to see DC from the other side. I didn't venture outside of the farming spots like the bridge and the yellow home keeps. Looks super boring to be bottle necking the enemy and dropping destro ultimate all the time, but I'm not motivated by AP.
The AD Elsweyr bases are so posh compared to the High Rocks. Also AD seem like nice people in the text chat.
Since DC have been playing the campaign again and making some progress I haven't gone back on my yellow yet, but I will get my toon levelled up for when I fancy a change sometime.
I will admit I see a blue scroll in a yellow keep that had just been taken from red and the temptation to run it back was strong. I think I will always bleed blue.

Not necessarily true. AD has some real hate between different bodies.

I had to higher educate one guy whose cp300 on some of the basics of PvP warfare. This is one of the things he brought up, to which I said he has to make his best judgement as to who to listen to. But home keeps or 'Castles' are higher priority then anything else they say.

The Cyrdolic Home should be in Cyrodiil I fully agree about homestead should be in Cyrodiil to. Cyrodiil is love. Cyrodiil is life. I mean virtual life in Cyrodiil I really want to buy that moth Priest church in Cyrodiil. Or those locked territories. Or that 1 place I got 2 perfect roe. 1 after the other lol. Also might see a special guest in your campaign for 1 time only. Unsure

@Takes-No-Prisoner You should see the DC text sometimes, so much arguing, fighting and general stupidity. Although I do enjoy the drama, some of it is pretty entertaining.

Our guild works hard to take stuff and text chat goes crazy when things get taken back because the rest of EP can't defend in our wake.

We get stuff like why do you do that now blue and yellow are going to come attack us. lol
Sorry to spoil there standing around in the keeps.

They should know that if they invoke the ire of blue and yellow they'll just both double team. Sounds like red doesn't understand that... that's kinda important.

If you have some dudes go and take brindle then back cap Ash, then 40min later they can't hold it, well why did they go over there to begin with?

To take the pressure off from the AD masses at BRK or Blue horde at Chalman is why we do it.
If you have to go and defend your back keeps helps us hold ours.

I don't want to use the word jealousy but there are only a couple of EP guilds that do most of the work and the rest like to roast us when we are not on or get pushed back rather than go out and pug up and do it themselves.

I guess what I am saying is we don't have enough good pug groups except for one guy that runs one.

But this probably true of all alliances because on PC I play AD on Trueflame and we have a lack of pugs there too.

Well, to be honest it's often because a scoring evaluation is about to happen. Brindle + Resources is only a 4 point gain for EP, but an 8 point loss for AD. Likewise with Ash for DC. Once the evaluation is complete, there's no need to continue to hold them.

@TequilaFire and I are in the same guild and the guild is very campaign-score oriented. We don't often go for Brindle, but we will sometimes go deep to gain points and pull the enemy back from our front lines.

Our GM is also extremely map-aware, which is a somewhat rare quality. I've seen EP leaders that are great at recruiting, but terrible at strategy - or simply fall victim to tunnel-vision and after spending 2 hours fighting at a bridge, look at the map and are shocked to discover that they no longer have any keeps... lol

i hope all is well for you out on the farm...hope those crazy goats your neighbor has have not been up to too much mischief...i have a friend at work whom has a couple of goats...they seem like pretty friendly creatures who just so happen will eat about anything...

i'm sure you've already seen it - but, @Mozsta69 (howdy there ) has this wonderful thread in fiction & roleplaying concerning what people think would be their ideal location to settle down in...

initially i had just thought of it from a practical standpoint; and, rawl'kha is pretty much where i station all my characters at...but, then i started thinking of it from a favorite locale perspective...

hands down my most favorite map in the game is cyrodiil...i just love the sheer size and diversity (just about every climate but desert) of the map...for whatever reason though - my favorite most ideal setting is the Lunar Fang Docks:

AD has the 'unawares-map' problem too. I check the map religiously every 1-2 minutes. Seems like it's a big flaw a lot of PvPers. They want AP, they want to win the campaign, but they don't bother to check the map and report when something is flagging soon.

If you two suddenly see a bunch of AD come out of no where and/or show up to a keep, chances are I was probably the one that called out in Zone Chat that you guys set up siege. It's gotten to the point where if I made a call out of enemy location and movement a lot of AD will respond if they aren't already tied up somewhere else.

I also neglected to check the eval timing for when EP went after castles... something I need to work on apparently. I would be careful of making a pattern of that though.

EP is much better than they used to be at zone chat calls, although we have to evaluate the source of the call as well (Oddly, there will be times when one or two AD/DC faithful will "infiltrate" our zone chat specifically to try and pull us in the wrong direction.... ha ha)

Back-capping usually happens if we're not making any progress at all on the front lines. Scoring is secondary in those instances, but it's definitely a consideration when determining what (and who) to hit
