So how about that EP scroll run last night? AD was confused you ran into Bruma when it was D.C. but good recovery.

My understanding from zone chat ( I was capping DC the whole time) was that the group of DC that took back the scroll, decided to stop and do the dolmen. This gave EP enough time to return and retake it. Needless to say zone chat was pretty funny for a bit after tht.

What had happened here, was a vast majority of the DC players simply assumed the scroll would be safe once we took it back from EP at Bruma. So rather then escort the scroll back safely, they went after the dolmen that was up currently in Bruma.

As for myself. Once all the EP at Bruma were dead, I waited by the edge of the town to intercept a small group of EP before turning back to catch up with the scroll on it's way to warden. However it seemed two or three EP caught up to the scroll with only 1 other person escorting it and kill the carrier right as myself and another caught up to them.

A fight broke out over the scroll, however more and more EP showed up and quickly overwhelmed the three of us that went back to escort the scroll. I counted 9 EP present when they managed to pick up the scroll.

I must say I have to give EP a thumbs up on a nice recovery of the scroll from us. It's not often I see a scroll runner get caught and killed, even rarer for the returning scroll runner to get caught and killed, and the scroll to be taken a second time. So I must applaud EP for managing that. Nice job guys.

The biggest mistake DC made was assuming that the scroll would be safe and go after the dolmen up at Bruma, rather then form an escort to run with the scroll.

So yeah. That's the details of how it went down for those who were curious and/or not present.

Fun PvP when I've dipped into BwB. I'm about to dedicate a considerable amount of time into not getting the weapon I want in vMA.

I made it to level 6 on Normal MA, something kept one hitting me so I gave up. I created a stam sorc for vMA but not sure if It will ever make it there.

I did normal with a stam NB with SB/DW, everything was easy to kill. I just need to find the monster that keeps killing me in one shot.

Normal can be cleared on a level 3. Though you might end the arena close to level 10 if you use a psijic.

Apparently magsorc and magNB are easiest clears. I've been doing runs in a little under an hour on my stamsorc and it hasn't seemed awful just yet.

I cleared nMSA first try with my Magplar the day it hit the PTS lol. Literally just spammed Puncturing Sweeps the entire time with the occasional Breath of Life. I don't want to spoil it for you, but stage 6 has a mechanic you need to follow to avoid getting one shotted by the boss (or just have so much DPS you bypass the mechanic entirely).

You know, besides the spider stuff on vet stage six I don't know any of the mechanics and I still haven't died there yet. I just loathe stage seven because of random poison flower spawns.

There has been only one time I've been a bit upset with someone switching sides. The Disenfranchised is an EP only guild in BWB, and we kick for bringing AD or DC characters into BWB. We had someone a few months ago who dropped the guild, switching to DC, and then named their character mocking our guild. We've had others who dropped from the guild and switching to another alliance, then came back and rejoined the guild... I give them a hard time, but it is all in fun. But when you switch sides and mock the guild, I get a little annoyed...

Some of the PvE topics are just as brutal. People say things like "if you don't have 30k DPS you will get kicked immediately. " some people only want to play with 15k DPS. That's just how they want to play.

Here is an example. I'm in a trial.. there is like 20 mobs around me and I spam WhirlWind and then get like 50k dps. Then there are times we have 1 boss to kill and I only get 10k dps.

I think my average is around 30 dps, but then there are times I am low and I think.. "am i really doing any good?"

Most "hard core" guilds want to see a certain amount of "single target" DPS. They have a specific boss or something to test on I think. Since I only tank and heal, I'm not sure about the specifics.

there are certain bosses people use to test single target dps ... i just use addons for it though ... ive seen myself get 25-35k single target and up to 100k mob on my mDK

Even after two years of playing, I still feel like a noob. Just a few days ago, I decided to grind some CP, and then level a few skills I don't us. Omg.. I don't know why I never used Hidden Blade. I noticed my damage increased by 400.

Is there any benefit of having, magelight on your bar ( stam build ) when doing dungeons or trials? I don't know why I have it slotted, but I think I need to replace it.

Single target, usually with the major armor/spell resist debuff and sometimes with sustain support (shards/orbs, elemental drain, etc.). Some guilds use different rules, of course.

The most common "ruleset" I've seen recently is a full burn on the target skeleton with sustain support and the resist debuff provided by someone else.

....if you share your AOE dps parse when people ask what your DPS is, they generally won't take that well.

I am getting better ( I think ). I might try different sets such as, Twice Fanged, and see if my DPS gets any better.

Thank you! And yes. During this time period I have been given 2 extra vacation days a week to compensate my time since I'm a salary employee. I now have 5 weeks of vacation to use. I will take a week off very soon.

ive got 2 weeks until my vaca lol .... then a week off of both jobs !!! hopefully will be able to get some eso in ... but i have A LOT of work to do at home
