I`m thinking of making my current toon a bomber at some point. Does anyone know if I morph Soul Strike to Soul Shatter if the VD will proc on top of it or not? And if I keep that toon in vet, would the Destructive Mage and VD set stack too if I run both in full?

Yes, yes, and yes.

The Destructive Mage bomb *should* trigger VD, but I don't know anyone who's tested it--DM takes a lot of coordination for a really underwhelming amount of damage.

Yea the more I was thinking about it, the more I was like... meh. I have enough trouble getting people to use Spinal Shield of whatever it`s called when I heal in dungeons, coordinating DM would be somewhat of a dream. But Shatter Soul on top of VD sounds like a nice zerg buster that I`m eager to try. I got the best campaign reward I`ve ever gotten this week with a gold VD neckpiece so I figured I should use it. I`m very trigger happy with Soul Strike, might as well put it to good use lol.

I think my next character is going to be named "Lil Miss Emily". It will be a small Bosmer Stam DK. Don't let the size fool you, It will hit hard.

I made a change to my stam nb. I took off Mag light and replaced it with a skill from the fighters guild ( for extra damage ). My damage is at 2500 and with hidden blade it goes up to 2900. It that good? or bad?

It depends. What are you going to do with it? Solo or group play? Ganking or Brawling? My s/b brawler builds usually get around 3.5k weapon damage buffed but in bwb they only have around 28k max stam and 2-3kish regen (which you think would be excessive until you see how fast my stam depletes because light attack-bash weave OP).
In bwb, 2900 damage is enough to get away with in open fights.

One thing to note, if you are generally pushing regen or max stat, using fighter's guild stuff to buff weapon damage isn't terribly effective, because it's a percentage buff.

At the number's you are looking at, slotting a fighter's guild skill is giving you <100 weapon damage: if you aren't using the skill it's generally not enough of a passive buff to be worth it (as opposed to a full WD stack build that pushes 5k weapon damage and is getting 200ish out of having a FG skill slotted).

Luckily they are mostly pretty useful skills.

Well right now my nb is just used for grinding CP and DPS for pledges and normal trials when needed. My goal is to get much dps out of it as I can. I want to try and use it in vMA some day.

Not sure what monster set I have. The one that creates a circle of fire on the ground.

It is not set up for PvP right now, all the traits are divine and infuse. Weapons are gold, and a few gold armor pieces.

That will work just fine. I'm a bit out of touch with current pve stam meta but I know for sure that this is the starter set up for dungeons and such until you get the trial gear and vma weapons you need.

This is why I got on my lvl 12 EP sorc the other day and killed a couple DC Camping the Kings Crest mine when there was no scroll to be had.

As said before, that is decent. The most I've been able to get was on my stamblade. With bow and buffs was around 3500. The most damage I saw for one ability was when I ganked someone with a 9k snipe. But that was unusual, usually it hit around 6,500...

I'm just surprised you guys got hit by anything other than a ballista, to be honest. It was kinda cute seeing you-know-who wait inside the keep like a pup while 13 wolves were deciding on which ressource to take back first after taking Brindle.

Speaking of ressources, Tuesday nights on campaign resets are becoming such a bore. Playing cat and mouse around ressources gets tired pretty fast. PvE at its finest.

I don't know if resource farming is that good anymore. I mean during double AP week for sure! We were getting 6k per resource, but now at 1.5k, I'm pretty sure there are better way. Not that I'm going to push emp anytime soon anyway, its way too much work when you are not in vacation

The person I was with pulled like 100 mobs; all i did was spin to win and my bats were working over time. I think I found my favorite grinding spot

This is one of the reasons I rolled an ep toon yesterday.....I am NOT going to support this or the guild doing it...
I predict many core DC players defecting to AD and EP enmasse.

I wouldn't have any problems with SORA if he wasn't such a prolific hate whisperer.

I mean his group is well organized and quite a challenge to fight and that's good fun. But whenever he does get beaten, he inevitably starts whispering really nasty sht to one or two ppl in the grp.

When your in a 5 man g rp and the leader of a zerg starts sending hate tells to half your grp, you start to wonder wht's wrong with the aforementioned leader.

i ALMOST went into BwB last night for a bit .... but i decided to go to bed instead lol
