People are too easily offended. It's a game and you're pretty much over-analyzing the DB cut-scenes.disintegr8 wrote: »The rating does not mean that no-one has the right to be offended, we all have different opinions on what we like or do not like to see in a game. I'm certainly not offended by the cut scenes but I could do without them and enjoy the game more. My problem with them has nothing whatsoever to do with the gore. I don't like how the game freezes all actions to play the damn things and they're not as interruptible as they should be. A Toggle to turn off cut scenes all together would be a welcome addition to my game flow.
For those of you wondering, you can turn of the blade of woe death cam yes, its a setting in your camera settings.
Right at the top if i'm not mistaken.
I have a ten y.o. son who plays ESO with me now and then. He's gifted with some sort of genetical "good guy genes" I suppose. When he was new to the game, he wanted to try everything and so on. He gladly joined the thieves guild and did a few quests.
Then I was like:
- You want to join the Dark Brotherhood?
- Yeah yeah! What do I have to do?
- Kill an innocent, to prove you are cruel and all
- Okay... No. I don't want to do that,
- It's okay, you don't have to
- Have you done it? I mean, that's just wrong...
Same son has like solid full "Good Honor" in RDR2 all the time, while his f****d up dad is at the lowest abyss of hell all the time. I'm completely deranged myself, so I haven't even been thinking that way. LOL
What I mean is, I can see that quite some people would have problems with this story line. But after all, everything can't suit everyone.
And please, spare me from moral sermons for letting my son play this and other games, he never plays ESO alone, and is obviously a more moral and well mannered guy than most adults.
