Its rather funny. Not No More, translates to, because he was caught or gave out the secret. I find it very very skeptical that this player being a long time member of the guild in question regarding rampant cheating was just caught by both the players and ZOS because of his own actions. Everyone knows a cheater will always cheat because it is the path of least resistance to victory. What I cant seem to grasp is if you are so keen on spotting hacks that this player must have just randomly slipped your observation for so long. You can not hide behind the guild kick placid, it has as many holes in it as your constant propaganda train. You entire guild was aware of his actions and more than likely participated in them as well. This is the condition of EP. My advice to you is simple. Get down off the cross, someone else may need the wood.

He may just have better luck at maneuvering in combat since he can actually see his character and isn't neck deep in a zerg like you.

Kodi's legit. I've fought him dozens of times in the open field on my templar and there's never been anything sketchy about it. His strengths are he has great timing and can LoS you around just about anything. But I've killed/been killed by him enough times that I'd be really surprised if he was cheating.

Hopefully ZOS is able to tailor their monitoring to be able to determine if people are in fact using cheat engine, but under the radar. It's one thing to raise a red flag of suspicion, it's another to jump to guilty. Let's see what ZOS says this week. As for blindly defending friends, it's admirable, but perhaps not the best course of action. Of just the few people I officially know were banned, I'm sure they had many friends, including the people making strong defenses on this thread.

As to the permarolling, anyone making use of unchained can accomplish this every 5 seconds. It's something I try to do on my healer since I don't have stam to spare, and a stam build could do far more than I could with it.

We don't need to McCarthy this though and accuse everyone of being a commie. Don't worry, soon enough we'll all go back to accusing each other of zerging, destroying campaigns, being baddies, and spamming X as the latest OP skill.

Accusations are best left to ZOS to investigate and address, despite what you might think about them they are a neutral 3rd party ro the game and less likely to call "cheater!" On someone because they got killed one too many times. This is the reason the naming & shaming rule is good, to prevent baseless accusation without hard evidence. That said, I don't think it should protect players caught cheating from public scrutiny.

As for cheaters not being good players or visa versa, as a prior admin from counter strike and natural selection servers I can tell you that it's more common than you'd think. Good players would come into a server and establish a name for themselves. Once established they would test the waters with minor hacks during hours they thought no one was looking, using subtle exploits. A few of them that would take the time to appeal their ban and explain why they did it, it typically went "I just wanted to have a little bit of fun", "I just wanted to test it", and "well the rest of the players are using cheats too". I only had one guy cut through the *** excuses and give me what I consider the truth "I wanted to have every possible advantage to win"

Regardless of the reason, it's told me that no one is above using hacks or cheats. It's just more obvious with bad players. You should always be critical of players and fill out a report of anyone suspicious, especially the good ones because it will be that much harder to spot.

Fill out a customer service ticket if you're suspicious or if your have hard evidence. Worst thing is ZOS ignores you, which you PVPers should be used to by now.

I love how I'm making no sense to some people. When it explains a lot of problems in pvp many many people have witnessed.

The worst part of it all is every that was up to no good and ends up sliding by will be considered exonerated. That's the worst part of it.

I've never played with him and only talked to him occasionally. However, I've played against him many, many times over the last year and everything he did in those fights was legit. Very clearly a case of salt overload here.

Pointing fingers at each other and levying accusations and responding with "git gud", "l2p", etc is getting us no where.

While you folks are all pointing the finger at each other and ripping each other apart, the bigger picture is being lost.

This game is so buggy, from buggy skills like Shuffle, Purifying Ritual cleansing Crystal Frags, to DK flying through the air if Eclipsed and Taloned, and now this cheating.

this game is a buggy and total disaster.

right now the game is unplayable, and will be unplayable for the considerable future.(Solo PVE is the only thing playable and 4/12 man dungeons) Its going to take some time to put in some real working anti-cheat countermeasures, in the meantime we are stuck with a broken product, a product that turns us all against each other, a product you can never be sure if your adversary is cheating or not. Im not even sure if i even want to play anymore

This kills the game on so many levels.

While all this is going on, we are going to continue at each others thoats? If thats the case the community will kill them game off themselves

Every fight is its own incident and one fight has little bearing on another. Good players can still cheat some days, and them turn them off and fight normal another. Don't get caught in a trap thinking one accusation makes all of them true either.

If someone suspects another player is cheating, best to collect evidence and report. Anecdotal evidence isn't enough though, videos, screen shots, specific time frames are necessary if you expect immediate action. Otherwise all ZOS can do is observe on the off chance anything fishy happens again.

But that would be both telling and denied on top of being something I wouldn't do. But anyways, blind trust of people is a weird thing. Weird as in usually wrong.

Like I said earlier the worst part of all this won't be all the people gone for a week while they level up a new account, but all the people on the right side of the bubble of bans by ZOS that will just claim it's proof they are innocent.

I don't have an ego to feed, a youtube channel to promote or a twitch handle in need of subs. I only have words, if you don't like them, that's just too freaking bad. But, not having an agenda that revolves about me me me is something many of you lack.

It's like some of you don't get that it was trivially easy to just cheat at everything due to what's been revealed. How you still have blind trust in people you don't really know is laughable.

Was always going to go down this road unfortunately. That's a part of of problem of this whole fiasco. Trust and reputation from players will be hard earned until there's some kind of way ZOS can put this particular type of cheat to bed. It's not an easy task for sure but it is their task.

Some players are just better than others and talented and naturally inclined towards gaming. There needs to be no doubt though and I don't envy ZOS in trying to achieve that.
