I'd rather not slave away grinding vMA of all places, for an ugly as *** staff, that only gives me 100 sd.
its 180 and i feel you but for end of game gear crafted stuff just wont do and these weps and needed in most cases
Looks like ZOS' attempt to keep players playing the game with their RNG is having the opposite effect

You know what is ruining this game for me? The performance.
I can't even go into vMA anymore because guaranteed by arena 5 the game crashes or I lag so hard it causes a death or a disconnect (and every time I disconnect it resets my instance by the time I get back into the game, so I have to restart). For the record, I've beaten it multiple times and have a couple of the weapons I need, but not all.
I spent the last 3 months (since TG came out) working directly with ZOS support (over 10 different representatives), my ISP and the phone company who owns the phone lines/servers between me and ZOS's server. I ran dozens of traceroutes from people all over the country with different ISPs. All of the data I collected is solid proof that the issue is on ZOS's side.
Of course, I gave all of this information to ZOS. Whether or not they use it to make their game better, who knows? But I'm not stepping foot into vMA again until I can play this game for an hour without being forced out of it. Even trials a complete joke. Two weeks ago on PC the weekly was HRC. I took my guild through it, and we had a disconnect and 2 major lag issues before we even got to the first boss (and anyone who's done HRC knows that the first boss is a hop, skip and a jump away from the front door).
Lags and bugs are, most certianly, a major problem, but - If you learn the mechanics and adapt your build, you will complete VMA. And you will get better doing it over and over again.
Honesly - i have 350+ms ping that has spikes to over a 1k, and i am farming VMA with ease without any shields whatsoever (nope, not a sorc).
VMA is the exact experience that will make you way better than you were before. Now i can easily solo almost every normal dungeon (v16 scaled) and some bosses in vet dungeons (v16 scaled).
Main point here - ragequit won't make you better, while time and effort - will.

ok everyone says this like magic sorcs are the easiest to beat it an granted yes the shields make some points easier if you are forced to keep shielding instead of pumping out dps then you will die and fast. i would say healing off of your dps is much much easier in most cases (Don't attack this comment because you don't agree, maybe i just play a *** sorc but yeah)

Meh, I think magNB is the easiest class to do it. Just outheal all damage while you DPS. Awesome.

not the best trait but nice!
i have been at it for well over a week now and on stage 9 boss fight, it is annoying but i will get it done. this journey has made me really hate playing though and has ruined my char for me... i have to take breaks every 10/15 mins doing vma to deal with ZOS *** me with *** game mechanics... i just want the 2H!... not another reason to pack up and leave this piece of BS they call a working MMO #ThisIsNotWorthIt
Evasion: Casting this ability and its morphs now requires that you wear 5 pieces of Medium Armor.
The bonus from the vMA DW is so ridiculous that it'd be worth it even if it had no trait at all. If all I had were a pair of defending dagger or axes, I'd still use them.Oreyn_Bearclaw wrote: »I think you mean decon fodder. I got two so far in defending. And you're playing it as a sorc lololol. If you really want to feel pain try it as a DK...

I suppose you crashed right through it on your first attempt, i dare to say on that very first attempt you even got the coveted "flawless" title... take a tip: If you have nothing constructive to add to OP's thread then keep your fingers away from the keyboard, Have a nice day!
