Why North American truelflame EP, WHY??

I realize that the EP on the NA server in the Trueflame campaign are jealous of the DC's ability to hold off a 75-90 man zerg on glademist at 1 AM with 25 DC defenders. I also realize it's humiliating for the EP when the only way they can finally take the keep is when their EMP shows up. My question is this -- why does the EP attack DC? Why do you have this irrational hatred for the DC? Why don't you go and ROFLstomp the AD for a night? Seriously, when you can remain pop capped until 3AM on a Friday night while the rest of us are at Med, you should really devote your resources to attacking both factions. What do you do? You designate yourselves as the Akatoshes ******* retribution against the DC because we went and stole the scroll that the AD ghost capped from you at 4AM on Wednesday from the AD. Come on -- was it really necessary to zerg both our scrolls with your unholy red markers of corruption? Was it really fair to attack a faction with 80-90 people on at 3AM with your ridiculous 250+? Meanwhile, the borders between the Aldmeri and the Ebonheart were quiet as the grave..

Yeah, yeah, it was a fun night. I and the guildies genuinely enjoyed the hopelessness of it. It was fun to kill so many with so few -- but still hopeless.

*Ahem* Rant over.

Now to my question:

I came back to ESO after roughly 8 months because Ive been in nursing school. When I left trueflame on the NA server, AD was more populated than a pregnant bull frog and EP was the underdog. DC seemed to be the happy medium. Now, 8 months later, I come back to a red faction that has more capability to spawn than a horny rabbit on Easter. Meanwhile, the formation of the fabled team orange (consisting of whats left of the AD and the zergerific EP) seems to take pleasure in the destruction of blue. Where are the DC? Right where I left them. Stuck with an underwhelming population.

Why is it that the EP suddenly has this hatred for DC? I would think that after 4 months of being ROFLstomped by the AD in the summer of 2015 that the EP would focus their aggression on the AD. Instead, the EP not only use their superior numbers to grind the DC into the ground whenever we've displeased them -- they let the AD tag along like starving vultures feeding on the remains of our cut off keeps.

Meh, sounds like pugs to me.

Uncoordinated zergs. They leak to the porch and get nuked by oils, slowed by caltrops, drilled by radiant destructions and archers. When a wall falls they fail to buff up/stack/dodge roll/purge and just checker into the flags where they get clobbered by a ballista, refusing to go up the stairs. Of course they are bad at rezing and don't carry forward camps.

Basically the playerbase equivalent of the group finder dungeon runs.

I yell at them all the time.....

I was gone all night so I wasn't there and the OP is saying the Emp showed . Is the Emp over there a un grouped pug ?

Only two campaigns because so many EP are afraid of losing their CP by playing on Azuras. A couple of groups of EP could come over to Azuras and actually have good fights and counter the DC and AD population advantage. But it seems that isn't likely to happen.

Lets all just try to cool for now on and not camp each other's scroll gates long after all the scrolls are gone . Take a video game too personally or load the forums full constant faction complaints . We're one week off from enough salt in that DLC to kill a thousand crops .

An answer to the OP's question.

Our guild has always had a concept of staying on until the map is cleaned up. (when RL does not make it impossible) That usually means home keeps and scrolls. Last night we had a problem, AD had brought our scroll over to glade to farm DC with and the scroll was later picked up DC who put it in Glade. Sadly for DC we wanted our scroll back. Even though we already had a decent size force from our guild we decided to get a massive amount of players from zone chat just for fun. We pushed DC back from Chal mine all the way to Glade. While the Daggerfall defenders fought honorably at Bleakers, Aleswell and finally Glademist they were eventually driven out.

DC did stuff like this this to us a few months ago on a daily basis and while our desire for vengeance is mostly out of our system we still get more satisfaction grinding DC into the dust rather than AD. Also right now DC is is the only threat to EP controlling the map for most of the day. AD was strong at primetime, but shortly after they all logged and there was no noteworthy AD force to deal with down south. This allowed us to entirely focus on DC. (DC Was also still actively pushing Chalman...) Don't worry once we were done with you we turned our sites on cleaning up the yellow stain to the south with what players we still had up that late.

Great fights last night and while I am skeptical of there only being 24 DC defenders, how ever many DC were on they were certainly outnumbered. Props to you guys for holding out so long, so outnumbered like you were.

Also fun Fact: The AD force that was messing with you at glade was close to insufferable during our siege. We had to retreat off the LM side after making two breaches cause we had a 16 man AD group that kept harassing our force and coming back after we thought we got them all. There were as much a nuisance to us as they were to you. They did make for a fun challenge when trying to take the keep

Why to I navigate toward Bleakers more? I have had for more memorable blood-baths there than at Sej.

Chal also sees far more action from a DC push than BRK does from AD.

It's no surprise that most players will go toward where the action is.

I can't believe I just read this, @NACtron solid choice of an officer.

When we already hold Roe, why would we continue to push yellow? Unlike you it seems, we actually play this game to PVP and understand the harm that pushing a faction that can't defend to its gates. PvDoor is dumb and it kills any competitive environment we might have otherwise had.

DC pushes Chal every night because as long as you have it you zerg the north.

It's an empty threat though, you guys constantly Zerg to Aleswell even if (especially if) all DC is south. You just don't get to have it until I log off.

Yeah, I've argued with certain AD groups over it. They prefer trying (and failing) to bomb me while I'm fighting two raids of EP to taking back their home keeps.

This is correct, in some sense.

The only AD TF guilds that care about the power balance are weak and filled with weaker players. That is going to offend some AD guild leaders, but it shouldn't.

Weaker players signed on to play the game the way it was advertised. They are right to do so. Win the war for your alliance.

Most people who play this game are just MMO-hoppers who are in it for themselves and trying to use other people to make themselves look good. That's why so many of them are in BDO. They are oppportunists; if they think something slightly better comes along, that is where their dedication goes. Even if BDO is garbage, they keep looking for something that doesn't exist.

There are few AD players on TF who are any good and care enough to siege. Some of them wouldn't be caught dead sieging.

Personally I'd love to fight the Alliance War. A campaign where winning is meaningful and competitive is the reason why I play this game. The days where any AD players care about winning it, however, are over. Not many other people want what I want.

My point is this: AD is not trying to work with EP or screw you over. They are just opportunists and grabbing the points that they can.

If you could send me a schedule on what times we are allowed to push, what scrolls we can take, how many players we can stack, and which faction to go after that would be amazing so we can make sure this doesn't happen again.
