In many works of fantasy there are various types of dragons. Some breathing fire, some ice and even some expelling poison. So it is a Dragon Knight. Is a dragon that emits poison.

I think If theyre going this route, the stamina side of the class needs more.
Green blood should give serious health regen
    Corrosive armor should be stamina
Make stone giant into a nasty stamina "meatbag" malatov cocktail.
Cinder storm would be noxious swamp gas.
And both sides of the class need an execute...still!!!

In real life you can have a "toxic fire" under the right conditions, such as burning methane, and guess what... it doesn't look like vomit.

I LOVE the poison knight change but I hate the Noxious Breath animation, it's more like noxious vomit. Ugh, no thank you. :disappointed:

When I thought of poison dragon my first thought was Toxic Chroma from Warframe:

^ Now that looks cool. (video at 39s)
If they work on making better animation I think more people would enjoy it. Maybe green fire-ish?

Most useful comment in the thread, to be honest. Thanks! Heck, I could go for that orange OR that orange-purple, that would fit quite nicely. :D

Lorewise- Komodo Dragons' mouths are so toxic, their bites are fatal not by damage but disease.

Gameplay- Poison is in line with physical CP.

So not too sure if you want your class to keep identity (which IMO, it still will), but if so no need to fret, my friend! Can always play magicka to keep everything the same ☺

Frost damage would have made more sense tho also make a Nord worth playing and change the passive to Frost resist and more damage with frost, since Dunmer have increase fire damage they should make argonian and would elf passive poison resist and increase damage with poison to balance out a Dunmer fire mage

Honestly tying class identity Magicka would be a huge let-down for those of us who've stuck with our characters since launch, suffered through the early Magicka meta, and finally got something good with 1.6. I had a year of solid, competitive gameplay as a flame-wielding, sword-swinging DK, and while I support the damage type changes in terms of balancing with the CP system, I am absolutely distraught that they changed the animations. If they go down this route with the animations, then it will be far worse than how it felt in the early game. At least in the early game I could hold out hope for a stamina rebalance, and they absolutely delivered on that with 1.6, but if this is the direction that stamina animations are going in then there is no more hope at all.

I don't really like the change either from an aesthetic point of view. I wouldn't mind it so much if it was already like this when I made my character. I really enjoy being more efficient on my stam DK but I am in agreement with you in that I would still prefer to have fire. Oh well!

Dragons in TES aren't the typical fire breathing beast we see in other fictional universes, they actually use the Thu'um, a type of magic that enables them to cast spells of immense power. The Thu'um can be used for a wide variety of purposes such as: sharpening blades; slowing time; quickly traveling across the land; producing magical effects such as fire, cold, wind, etc.; killing or pushing enemies away; and much more...

lol they are still complaining about a change that increases their damage output, and complaining? how is this not mechanics, the poison has increased dmg, via champ points its a class being buffed, while sorcs get a nerf on shields from 20 sec to six sec.....how is this not mechanics? please explain....

They are talking about the way the it looks, the animations, etc. Not the damage aspect. How hard is that to understand?

its hard to understand how one can complain about something that helps them in the long run ^^ while other classes truly get messed with ^^ ide rather spit poison then have no defence^^
