When VE plays Red

Lately, a certain Guild on DC has been slandering us in zone, and accusing myself and my guild of Raiding on EP despite the fact that I have not entered Cyrodiil on my Ebonheart Dragonknight since the reroll almost 6months ago now. I feel as though I’ve repeated this a hundred times now, I have not played on EP since the reroll. VE does not have rules regarding where my players play when I am not leading. If you see VE members on EP but I am not there, it is NOT a raid. Chances are even high if you see them on DC without me, we are NOT raiding.

This guild with its lack of leadership and ability to listen to reason; saw some of my guys on EP occasionally and immediately concluded VE was playing red again. Without consulting me, without realizing it was just 3 or 4 members playing with some friends, without exercising any amount of common sense. After I attempted to reason with them and repair relations explaining that VE does not in fact raid on EP, we only fight for real on DC, I was met with more slander in zone despite promises it would end. Essentially I was given lip service with no real intention of halting their unfair and biased accusations.

We tried to take the high road and ignore them trying to continue to work with them, and the constant attempts to alienate us never ended. Going so far as to tell us DC does not need “red guilds”, “DC will never work with you,” and my personal favorite, “Better Dead Then Red.” I tried to be reasonable, but honestly, patience is a virtue that has so far escaped me. Enough was enough, if this guild wanted to see a Red VE Raid so desperately, I would show them one. The GM of this guild promised me himself if I played on EP he would bring “3 Full Groups.” An interesting promise when I threaten to go EP for real, I thought I was already playing on EP? True to his word he was out in force Friday, unfortunately I am also a man of my word. The map went red.

I brought my guys back out on EP for the first time in 6 months. Below is the documented raid night. It did not last as long as I would’ve liked. Wipes are included, we aren’t immortal, but we weren’t going to lose. A promise was made in zone that Glademist would be held all night turtled by three raids. I took it with one. After which it seems the spirit was broken, DC lost everything to Rayles and Warden including their remaining scroll. Glade, Ash and Aleswell stayed red for the majority of the remainder of our Raid night. Dragonclaw was traded back and forth. (I seriously hate riding up there.) After the glade take the enemy guild raid(s) disbanded under the guise of taking a break. They did not reform while we stayed on the server, and I waited, for a couple hours.

I think my point has been made. I do not play on EP. That is what a VE red raid looks like. I hope even they can see the difference between four of my guys being on red, and when I organize and lead them on red. I would also like to thank the EP Guilds that coordinated with me at almost a moment’s notice. I have spent the last 6 months killing these people, and yet when I came back to EP they were there to work together. Amazing how some can see past the ignorance of a simple color difference and understand what real teamwork is.
VE is still a DC guild and I am still for the win for DC. I have accepted relations with a certain guild are over. Remember that you asked me to go EP, and you lost. Everything. I believe the correct term is, Permarekt.

I do have one question for my opponents, is it truly better Dead than Red?

Though it took yonk 6 days of hard work to level a red DK for the occasion, a 22.5k leap against the person who names themselves after a scroll was worth every second of it

That said, i have never seen so many meteors fly since Thornblade! I wish Bulb would look up sometime to show everyone crowding the third floor while we were running back and forth!

I really enjoyed that night just for the simple fact that I spent a ton of time creating that toon. After the reroll she was stripped of her gear and set aside as my crafter. It was fun to gear her up as a v 16 and run for the night.

My loyalty is to my guild and my guild is blue. I've seen posts with people saying that they would be willing to change factions if ZOS would make it simple and they could keep their toons with alliance rank and more. We walked away and started over. We worked together grinding zombies, trading gear, and giving build advice. Along the way we were privileged enough to have the best of the best of DC players join us. These DC are core members we would be lost without. Our guild also lost friends on the way which was the greatest sacrifice, yet we remain blue.

Yea I think we are the best, not for how we play but for the team we have become. I am proud to be VE and thankful to our leadship. If you don't like well you can.....

@x99Needles Don't really know what you the beef with you two and I really don't care I am just here to have some fun, meet the guys on ts and have some laughs. So you guys keep throwing insults back and forth and I and most of the rest of us will just go play in the lag

But over all it was fun even though I did miss most of it, Saturday morning here when everything went on so doing other stuff. But the comment turning the map red is well nothing new, it is either red - yellow or blue depends on the time of the week and who can muster the most players at the time, One day of red really was nothing new to DC but grats was a fun over all.

ps nice vid I did have trouble finding myself in that mess.

You got rekt so hard you ragequit the server for three hours after VE logged out. So just shush dude.

We even crowned emp while you were licking your wounds, then GoS logged and I heard you all came out of your hole after.

Maybe its time to bring out the sixth raid?

They got beat so bad apparently they were a no show the next day...allowed yellow to claim second place on them (as of last night)

That's not what you all screamed in zone chat.

Doesn't count as a win when you needed almost the entire campaign to help you. So yes, you did need a zerg to be successful.

You also got wiped inside the keep, you didn't abandon it.

I have to say they have been the most effective single group I have seen in game. I have seen a yellow group do really good things with 10-12, but as far as most effective 24 man group I have to say its VE. No offense to any of the other blue guilds I've been a part of or ran with, I love you all .

1. You told zone you would hold glade all night. I have a DC guild remember?
2. You told everyone in zone to come to glade to assist.
3. You wiped us 3x, not four, look up^
4. You lost more than 3x and lost the keep you were defending with most the current online faction and left the server immediately after.
5. Fabricated? Sometimes you just need to accept the loss Daniel. Its over.
