Not with any certainty, no. We'll try and get it in the next update, but it is entirely possible it cannot go into that one. There are a lot of moving parts that have to mesh properly for a patch to go Live. Best case: This coming Monday. Worst case: January. In all likelihood, somewhere in between.
As for the "No Stamina While Blocking" change, that change is completely unrelated to this.
Hey folks. We've read through the thread and identified what happened on our end. This turns out to be because the cost scaling for Blocking in the Veteran Rank levels was never scaling as intended. When we updated the Battle Leveling to the new version, the scaling began working as it was intended to.
Unfortunately, that means that Block (and possibly sneak and sprint costs, too, though we have not yet verified that) costs are much higher for players at the highest levels than it has been in the past. So, to correct that we're going to reduce the scaling value so that it will end up approximately the same as the previous cost at VR 16. This means it will actually be cheaper than it was before for all previous levels.

Telling my healer and dps "I got for nothing for a taunt bud, cc and run to me if you have to" over the last couple nights is somewhat depressing.

Sounds like me in vet pledge last night. Watching your group wipe because you have no stamina left to taunt or block or mitigate or do your job is painful.

I'm tired of people stating that ani-canceling requires intelligence or makes someone a better player. It doesn't. It's button smashing with a smidge of timing (sometimes - I know a lot of people who are ani-cancelers purely by pounding on their keys repeatedly), pure and simple. In fact, ani-canceling requires LESS skill in my opinion, than it does to play the game without it.

So this is an unintended nerf that potentially will survive until the next combat patch where tanks get nerfed, again? Is this just some sort of weekly meeting where you guys conjure up ideas on how to make content more difficult by figuring out new ways to nerf tanks even further? Is the goal to completely phase tanks out? Then why bother having the role?
Can tanks and our skills, for once, get a BUFF? S&B has gotten exactly one buff since launch - Minor Maim on low slash. That's it. We are already to the point where groups are trying to find ways to go through some of the harder content without a tank because we don't offer that much thus fewer players play them. Have you looked in a zone chat in a major dungeon hub recently? If you spam filter "LF1M tank" you would reduce zone traffic by probably 50%.

Just need more content like vMA.
