1h/2h DKs are arguably one of the tougher 1v1 classes in the game. The best combination of mitigation and damage in the game currently.
Curse > Crushing Shock > MW > Light Attack > Frag + teabag.
A fragbag.
Ghost, you speak with such eloquence. It brings tears to my eyes :') But yeah, people need to realize that there were actually a lot of sorcs that won legend tournaments. And if you ask every good sorc, they will tell you that DKs were not an issue to kill in 1.5.

Just one skill I hate since game started.
U are talking like its all dks have.
Have u ever even try fight with range against dk?
All your survivability depands on reflecting every single one range projectile? Than u play it wrong, i know good dks that not use reflect, tanks and dds
Of course! Reflect is the key for a DK to move our ranged opponents out of their comfort zone. As we lack mobility, we need something like this to get them close up against us. The reflect is quite expensive, VERY LIMITED after its nerf (4 seconds for 4 projectiles) and you can counter it by timing you CC, using non-projectile ranged abilities or just waiting to dry our resorces out.
Asking for reflect to let one skill pass it every second (where is the lol button when you need it btw?) is like us asking for sorc shields to drop every second and let a skill pass through them...
Never heard such a bad idea before...
I spam wings like sorc spam shields.
Some projectiles can get through scales (even if you only fire one).
Focused aim from sneak used to do that when patch came out.
Even seen videos of other skills too. It's not as reliable as it used to be (Tough no doubt very good ^^)

1 vs 1 Stamina DK are kings but in open world the most important way to mitigate damage is the mobility.RadioheadSh0t wrote: »Every time I run against very good DKs in this game 1v1 I think about threads like these and how out of touch they can be at times (key words: at times; there are many valid and constructive points that I don't want to discredit).

Reflective scales should reflect all projectiles and the duration should be reduced to 3 secs or 2 secs.
This is exactly what I said. U can use maneuver and what does the templar get? its a tankyclass issue and not a dk issue. nb and sorc are superiour due to their escapeability.
we would be superiour in meleecombat but they took our shields away... class system broken.

I dont wont escape ability. Give me my stamina regen while blocking and DKs and templars will be fine.RadioheadSh0t wrote: »This is exactly what I said. Not all classes should have the same skillset, though.
DKs can have escapability when my Sorc gets class heal and melee and my NB gets a class shield and heal.
Class balance does not mean all classes have the same skills.

Agreed. I merely pointed out the lack of escape just to show the difference between DK's and other classes. But I agree, if I could regen stam when blocking again and/or have a real class self heal we would be in a much better place.
Well I was really disappointed in this episode of ESO live. They had a wonderful opportunity to give some hope to the class by commenting on it, but instead they gave a generic answer of we will be working on classes in two updates.
I really don't think they understand what the mood is out here.

By the time that this class balance patch is out, Black Desert Online will probably have been released. I don't know why I bother anymore.

And in the mean time what? I am thinking battlefront. Take a break from mmo's and go DPS. Get recharged for next year.
The main problems I'm facing is, Obsidian Shield seems kind of useless, and Dragon Blood IS useless.
