NO the stones are EARNED in pve and can be STOLEN in pvp wich you must cross to get to safety, eventhough said pvp nabs that steal have not EARNED said stones.

There is no player friendly options in pvp. All blues and reds must die when I am in pvp and vice versa. Build a pvp build and fight back or else don't come to cyrodill if your afraid of getting owned.

Owned isn't the word for what is about to happen. You may be back here in a while posting about being killed every time you spawn. I think that's what he meant.

Not true I will complete the content and gank my way to the desired armor sets while others farm for them. I think it will be fun for me but maybe not you. Some people don't want the challenge of pvp. They can do dungeons and feel successful because the mechanics never change. In pvp you don't know what to expect which is what gives it lively hood. I think once people learn to pvp it will be a blast. You will earn your stone if you make it out alive.

Content starved WHOLE community, ZOS adds content for "all" to the side of the game the least amount of players play. Not that hard to grasp why people are upset.

There would be O complaint from PVE'ers if the new gear they were asked to achieve were given to them in a PVE manner. How long have we seen complaints about PVP'ers forced to PVE? (how long has the game been out?) PVE'ers have a year+ of complaining to catch up to :D

All of the dungeons are scaling to V16 so there will be plenty of V16 gear to get.

    http://www.elderscrollsonline.com/en-us/news/post/2015/07/17/the-imperial-city-guide-the-basics

The dungeon difficulty will be scaled to vr16 the loot WILL NOT BE. VR15 and 16 loot is only obtainable through pvp.

FALSE. You can get V16 loot from running the PVE dungeons.

    http://www.elderscrollsonline.com/en-us/news/post/2015/07/17/the-imperial-city-guide-the-basics

•Get powerful new Veteran Rank 16 weapons and armor by completing the White-Gold Tower and Imperial City Prison dungeons (and the Undaunted Pledges for them), and Veteran Rank 16 armor sets by trading in your Tel Var Stones.

•Run through the White-Gold Tower or Imperial City Prison dungeons with three friends. (You can also queue for these dungeons outside of the Imperial City, but you must have the DLC game pack.)

HONK, WRONG! you have to enter a pvp zone,. then travel through the pvp zone to get to the IC pvp zone, then travel through IC PVP zone to get to pve dungeons, then you have to either get to an exit through pvp zone or get to your guarded pvp zone to exit.

In short: your ass is toasted by pvp all around you, ganked into oblivion in pvp and you'll lose all your damn stones = no gear for pve players eventhough the stones can ONLY be gathered in pve instances.

The info on the home eso home pahe that came out today says you can port to the IC pve entance from naywhere as long as you have been there to uncover it

All you have to do is discover them the first time, then you can port to them from outside Cyro just as any other group dungeon.

    I'm pretty sure:

    1) You can zone into the instanced 4-player dungeons without setting foot in Cyrodiil (let alone Imperial City, as long as you discover the entrance at least once, or someone in your party has done so)

    2) V16 gear should drop from these instanced non-PvP group dungeons (can anyone confirm this? i'm pretty sure that's correct, it stands to reason the new dungeons would have V16 loot)

    3) You can deconstruct V16 gear in order to get special crafting materials in order to craft V16 version of our existing sets.

So there you go. That's your 100% PVE alternative to grinding Tel Var stones.

It's an alternative to obtaining v16 sets, but not the specific v16 sets bought with Tel Var stones. That said, these sets will be BoE, so you can buy them from other players. Correct me if I'm wrong.

For sure the crafted ones will be, as for the others I don't think they've said yet. Eric did say they are going more into the sets at Quakecon. They are kind of parceling out the info as we go here.

They justify this idea by saying that you can gank somebody back and get your stones or even more back. So basically you can be both robbed of your stones and also rob somebody of off their stones.

Losing TV stones at death won't be a big deal unless you are below average at PVP. If you are average and win 50% of your encounters and lose 50% of your encounters, you break even and still have roughly the same amount you started with.

PVP needs to be meaningful with repercussions so this could be a step in the right direction. If you are a bad PVPer, should you get the same rewards as good PVPers?

Like most may have guess I think this new system is a bad idea and would sub-jest another such as armor/weapons needing repair or something if people truly want risk and reward think of a system that doesn't completely screw over your fellow man/player. Let me also add that if the community both pve and pvp weren't content starved at this point I don't think this would be such an issue, but when neither have had anything new in a while and then you chose to mix both pvp and pve together you get this mess.

It may be the first DLC, but it is not the first major content update, and so far since the very beginning, literally the entirety of content until now has been made for PVE players. This is literally the first thing ever that has been made with PVP in mind since launch, the first bit of attention the PVP players have received, and PVEers are doing everything they can to wreck it, nerf it, and take the risk/reward and excitement out of it, despite the fact that there are purely PVE things in this next content for those that are interested, such as the two new 4 man group dungeons.

You do have a fair point, but of course the PVP players are going to be annoyed when they finally get some content for the first time, and all that happens is others crying for nerfs to the systems and whatnot.

I play both PVE and PVP. I also think it is high time some PVP content was introduced, they did that, and now we get all the PVE players trying to wreck what looks like fun content.

If they don't like it, they don't have to buy it, they can play all the rest of the content that was released for them, which has been a lot, but for now, they could just let the people that want to enjoy some fun PVP enjoy it, and be happy that they weren't the demographic that was being neglected since launch.
