I guess that means the grind to veteran rank 14 was only the start..

My fix to this problem would simply be:

    - Setting a maximum limit of achievable champion points = The new max level.

I think that the "pick and choose" part of the game is very important, espeacially at end game!
The champion system would be great as a tool for the final tweeks!

Keep the system, change the rules!

Agreed. Keep the CP system, but cap it at 300 or so CPs. You could allocate them however you want, actually giving your choices value.

That's an extra 30 million XP (if you are always enlightened). I think that's enough time grinding to "max stats", before your gear fills out the rest of your build.

I think they should cap the champion points. I would say make it to where you can have enough to get the max bonus in one tree each for Mage, Thief, and Warrior should you choose to allocate it like that. Thankfully console hasn't been here long enough to have a problem, but I can easily see how the absurd levels can affect the game. I'm all for a cap.

    That would work for me.

    That's actually quite brilliant, Dude.

I'd make it 360, so you could at least achieve 3 120-point passives, but aside from that I think you hit the proverbial nail onthe head.

I decided to return not long ago, left after 60 days highest toon was a 49 NB, watched a video of Deltia starting a new character with his at that time IIRC 300 champion points and was

OMG what a beast at level 10-20 one shooting mobs, less than 20 seconds killing a world boss at 12 solo (And yes I have one shoot something's at low level, but not every mob on the map nor bosses in the low level delves)

It really doesn't make someone who leveled through Cryodil to 49 even want to start playing again. It was really depressing for a returning player to see that kind of OPness in a level 12

The champion system really does need an adjustment

I have over 300 CP, went from 260 to 330 in about a week.

I'd have no problem with a cap or disabling anything I had over 300. I don't want to earn it all over again but putting hold on enabling it would be fine.

    Yeah.
360 CP max will be a good choice.

It's sad to think that when we can achieve the last 3600cp we will all have the same set.. boring

Like I've said numerous times, non-cp campaigns would fix the issue with CPs. This takes no CPs away from anyone, this allows zos to continue to make money off with xp scrolls for the cp grinding crowd, this allows the grinders to continue to have an edge in PvP, and it allows the have nots, little to no CPs, to play somewhere without the op cp grinders while continuing to get CPs. This allows the gamer to decide how many CPs they feel they need to compete. This also removes the need for non-vet campaigns, 1 step closer to removing vet completely, and it gives zos time to figure out what kind of catchup or cap system they feel is best to implement.

Non-cp campaign would basically solve the cp issue.

Really we do it without like, the musical instruments. This is the only musical: the mouth. And hopefully the brain attached to the mouth. Right? The brain, more important than the mouth, is the brain. The brain is much more important.

    Hello!
I played my nightblade since Beta and left about 2-3 weeks after champion points patch came.
Now i am back in the game and love it alot!
To try and get back in the game I started of and made Deltia's Spectral bowbuild on my nightblade.
    Now here it is..
I seriously feel that I am made out of paper..

This is something i would like:
"So the first 300 are very easy to obtain, but everything beyond that is harder (similar to Alliance Ranks)"

I just feel like i can't really get back into it.. I love pvp and the mix I get now with both pve and pvp in the sewers and upstairs is amazing, but i feel like i play a vet1 char instead of 16..
All my gear is purple and yes, I now what to do, but I think that champion points must be looked into..

It wouldn't surprise me if ZOS's solution to this would be to sell CP on the Crown Store... Pay to Win... Slippery slope n all that jazz.

I don't think it will ever come to that.

Yeah the more skyrim mechanics introduced, the longer this game will last.

Who really can complain about player housing?

I know a lot of people agree with this, player housing would be nice and the harborage would be a great place for it since it is already instanced per player. being able to add to it, decorate, and store items would be nice.

    "Speak up folks."

That's just a piece of a quote from one of the posters on page one.

This thread must still have significance if it has "poped up" again.

People are just expressing points they feel strongly about; is all.

I've played the game since launch and my main is still only V12, but I was happy because I was almost there! I am not an expert in the statistical or more technical side of things, so I can't comment on those. However from the point of view of someone who solos a lot, doesn't often get chance to do the higher level content such as Craglorn, this is a pain in the ass. There is no new end-game content that can be solo''d, no new quests etc, so it comes down to grinding and I hate grinding with a passion. I play at times when the servers are thinly populated, making finding groups difficult, so I have touched hardly any of Craglorn. I'm not much for PvPing either, which I didn't think mattered because you are supposed to be able to play the game 'your way', but without it levelling has been glacial to say the least. Why can't the dailies be divided into a group challenge and one for soloers, for example? Getting to the level I'm at has been like climbing a mountain and now it seems I've even further to go, and now I've finished Cadwell's Gold, frankly I'm getting a bored.

I do feel the same. Getting closer to Craglorn, my interest in the game gets more thin. The idea to grind or PVP to vet16 makes me sad..

Give us a DLC with a lot more PvE content, ill buy it, but IC.. no thank you
