Probably because of people like that AD guy earlier today who thinks the game is about nightcapping and saying how other alliances are too bad at nightcapping, maybe. Everyone does it, but certain AD are the only ones who seem to be proud of it!

blue tries to nightcap + emp with 30 people and fails and only gets 1 scroll
yellow nightcaps with 11 people and gets 5 scrolls and emp.

not saying it to be "proud" just saying that even against 0 enemies blue cant do ***.

also the fight at mnem was *** epic. I had lots of fun and we hold red back for a long ass time until their lapdogs came to bail them out. way more fun than watching most of our alliance die on the bridge to sejanus for 10 hours till its time to log for the night.

I know for a fact, that some blue wanted to get yellow scrolls that.
So 1 scroll out of 2. i dont know anything about emp, but i was deep asleep that night^^
but somehow i doubt that they tried for emp after they failed at second scroll^^

and before in this thread you said "blue cant take anything if there are defenders"
now suddenly you say it was 30 blues and no defenders^^

when i logged on around i think 3-4 am. they had 1 scroll and most of our keeps and were capping allesia which they succeeded in. than they went to brk which was the last one they needed. i invited anyone i could find to slow them down we eventually succeeded after several attempts and red repaired and blue stopped coming. we then spend the entire morning getting all our stuff back.

after that the whole *** at the scrolls happened where red got theirs for free and than sieged rayles which *** us over. so as revenge we wiped red of the map, mostly leaving blue alone besides ash to get emp. (the other blue emp keep was red). but of course red and blue teamed up, not suprised about that. instead of *** blue over and prevent them from getting a scroll like they did with us (I guess they dont see your alliance as a threat for obvious reasons). we even put your blue scroll that we stole back from red in faregyl so that you nitwits could get it back easy, since it was red we were after. but as the loyal red pets that you guys are you handed red another victory while securing your last place again like every other week.

red takes your scroll for nightcapping yellow. and you help red. how much more whipped can you get? xD

nightcaps or not. im having a great time in pvp all aspects of it. defending the scroll at nemn was 1 of the most epic fights we had in awhile.

I like how your idea of revenge is waiting for most of an alliance to log off and head to bed and THEN getting a raid to take all of their stuff. Because that's literally what happened. Couldnt take anything when me and my guildies were there to defend so you just took it when we finally went off to bed (us mistakingly thinking you'd have given up by then).

You should try taking revenge on people when theyre actually online to witness it. You might like it and we might start caring about it and respecting it more.

For the record, the EP PUG that sieged Rayles had the delusional idea they could go take Alma Ruma for themselves with the entire Covenant and Dominion being all over that scroll. It's not some sinister plot... just silly people with a silly plan.

it must have been a twisted plot to only deff the Mnem Scroll. That clearly shows you are DCs pets now, cos you could have held the Altadoon Scroll easily. We were not even 20 blues there (cos others zerged chal and alessia), instead you gave us the scroll without fight^^

and it would have been easy to chase us too cos we stuck in a hole

The thing is when both gates open, and your scared of both factions, you have a choice...
Defend one or the other. Kinda impossible to defend both. Anyway so they chosed to defend Mnem from Red's.

It's an old rule that made sense back in the day when keeps was harder to take and population was denser.
Now I say: If you snooze you loose! Battle 24 hours a day or be the side that don't do enough battle. that's fair.

this is why i prefer international servers. too bad lag issues exist. maybe someday in the future when everyone has superfast internet we can have them. my first mmo FFXI had itnernational servers and it was awesome cause theres always people's prime time all round the clock. so fur us night owls there would actually be a full population. that games combat system wasnt very lag sensitive so it worked out.

every game i've played that has some sort of system that works 24/7 you're gonna have nightcaps. even in mortal online(some indie game i used to play with full loot and destructable player housing) nightcaps happened. and you actually lose millions of gold and your player city/house if you pissed of the wrong people and they came to siege you while you were sleeping.

Sure international servers would do it. But atm things do happen at night, only a few dont dare cap etc, all over some crazy missunderstood and outdated agreement that as far as im concerned was silly to begin with. Not that it's like a major issue though don't get me all wrong.

I'm really tired of this crap. It's 5 am and I'm still trying to defend our stuff, though I'd rather go to bed.
At first there were 15+ blues (at 3 am) trying to capture chalman while AD was pushing to BRK (not many luckily). At least there were still some online to defend Chalman (let's say maybe 5) until DC gave up. Some minutes later they tried to steal Ni-Mohk. And even AD was there trying to help them. I saw a char named Pox Nox there aswell (who I mostly see on DC). Some tryhards were still trying to get Ni-Mohk from farra..but failed.
Right now I see AD 7 sieges at Ash.
But what can you do? You can't expect people to be online 24 hours and you also can't forbid anyone to play at night or morning. It's just sad you are not trying to get your scroll or your emperorship through actual pvp..but more through pvdooring..but whatever..
