If you're speaking for the PvP players in Cyro, you shouldn't care much what happens with the PvEers outside of Cyro. Your argument doesn't hold water.

Basically your complaint is that the buffs are your shiny toys for being in PvP, and you don't want to share. It's PvE. It doesn't affect you at all.

@xsorusb14_ESO I actually think Frost Resist racial passive for the Nords is an under estimated skill. In PvE the mages who are Cyromancers can hit you like a truck with some ice spells, same with some quests bosses. Now ZOS just needs to make some guards in PvP use some ice spells and we'd be good.

9 times of out 10 you'd rather have fire resistance. It's only under estimated in highly situational encounters...which is a euphemistic way of saying the ability is trash.

Unfortunately on 1.6, it also ate a bunch of items from your inventory, because any items over your carry limit are tossed into space, or something.

Anyone know if this was actually fixed with 1.6.1?

This issue was not fixed in 1.6.1. We're working on a fix, and will have the issue resolved before Update 6 goes live. We'll let everyone know as soon as we have a fix that has passed.

So much deja vu over the banking problem at launch .. I guess the only saving grace is that this time there are no real casualties but honestly, making the same error twice is a tad careless, wouldn't you say?

I understand what you're saying and to a certain degree I agree but this is an Elder Scrolls game and Nords are known to resist Frost. Maybe if the game wasn't so based around fire damage, seeing as most guards in Cyro use fire spells, then this wouldn't be an issue.

The only other thing that I can think of is to add something onto it, maybe a small increase to weapon damage in order to balance things out.

"-Fixed an issue that was resulting in a loss of items when logging into Update 6 for the first time."

I assumed this was it, because when I first logged in on 1.6.1 pts, my eu character with the maxed inventory horse still had all 167/170 items.

Really? I think you need to look at this one again.

      • High Kinlord Rilis' Curse of Suffering can no longer be cleansed. You will only be able to cleanse the Curse by standing in one of the sigils located on either side of his room.
Seriously? Seriously?! Please will you consider this again with playtesters who are using Low or Minimum graphics settings.

Dropping Textures down to Low and reducing the number of particle effects greatly affects how the game portrays colours. Although I have good colour vision, I have so much difficulty working out whether the icons are red or blue that by the time I've worked out which sigil I should run to, I'm dead. The only way I can survive this attack is either with a Templar casting Cleansing Ritual or a Sorcerer casting Purge.

I shouldn't be dying just because I have an older computer. (And it's a laptop so I can't upgrade it, else I would have done).

Awesome. I've been reporting this as a bug since 26th December, glad it's finally fixed.

    2. No more rezzing at keeps. Make us rez at our gates so supply lines will be truly cut off. Creates more strategic play.
Wow. Way to make Cyrodiil PvE too aggravating to bother with. Unless resurrection at keeps was allowed for players killed by NPCs and not for players killed by other players.

I know you PvP guys get annoyed by PvE players, but all the time that there is PvE content in Cyrodiil, we'll be coming in to get those Skyshards and Achievements. Some of us even stick around and learn how to PvP ;).
    HolyDragon wrote: »
    3. Make Thorn Vet only Campaign. Make Chillrend level 25+ Campaign. Leave non-vet alone and erase the rest. Add another is pop is too high.
What about those of us who play in multiple Allliances? My AD character is in Haderus, my EP character is in Azura's Star, and my DC character is in Chillrend (although he is strictly PvE). There's no conflict between my characters because they're in totally separate instances of Cyrodiil, and I certainly don't "spy" for other Alliances.

Unless ZoS changes the way the Alliance War works so that it is possible to simply "unassign" one of your characters from Cyrodiil, there need to be at least 4 Campaigns so that it's actually possible to swap Campaign occasionally. (Number of Alliances plus one).

    6. Lower costs of items so people can get siege!!!
This blows my mind. I barely PvP at all and even then I always have enough gold or spare Alliance Points to buy siege engines. Maybe you should PvE occasionally so you get some gold from quests  .

    1. If you can, and I know this is dramatically changing everything about them but if you can, only allow us to join 1 guild and 3 merchant guilds. This way we are not competing with other guilds for raids and pvp. A lot of people still like the traditional join 1 guild structure. While the newer types of people may like this "social media" type structure, it is not allowing them to form any loyalty skills, IMO.
Loyalty skills? I'm extremely loyal to my two social Guilds and to two of my three trading Guilds!

If they were going to do something like that, then all Guilds would have to be designated as "Social Guild", "Roleplaying Guild" (possibly a subset of Social Guild), "Trading Guild", "PvE Guild" and "PvP Guild". And PvP Guilds would have to be created in some way that restricted them to members of one Alliance, rather than being account-wide as at present, e.g. you would only have access to the Guild chat while logged in as a member of the "correct" Alliance.

I do however like the idea of PvP Guilds working differently to other types of Guild.

With 1.6 I was hoping for balancing races with champion system - sth similar to what we have in Skyrim. Each race starts with some skills leveled up (champion points spent - Altmer dealing more elemental damage, Bosmer dealing more dmg with a bow[...] but no race can reach more than 100 points spent) and have only 1 unique skill (like Adrenaline Rush, Red Diamond, Stalthy, etc.)
I really like this idea. Now that you mention it, I'm surprised that isn't what they decided to do.

Don't forget, ZOS. Crafted sets are supposed to be superior to any dropped set to give craters a reason to craft. So, please, nerf the endgame dropped items enough to let crafters make gold again. And please, don't make dropped items look any different than the craftable items or give us the motifs!

PvP'ers - Give them their own servers with all the nerfs of 1.6 so they can whine about how their class isn't as powerful as other classes and how other classes need nerfing.

PvE'ers/RP'ers - Give them their own servers with 1.5 (with necessary changes like armour ratings) and stop nerfing everything.

Seriously, we get no new content cause everyone's crying about classes being OP, so they get nerfed...then they cry about no new content.

Couldn't have said it better. I'll gladly take a PvE server while all the elitist PvP-ers can get their update 1.6 PvP-only server and blow each other up while simultaneously complaining about which class is currently too OP and needs to be nerfed. Eventually all classes will be nerfed to the point where doing 5 DPS will be so unfairly OP and need to be nerfed, lol. This game used to be about immersion, now it's all about numbers and nerfs. Pathetic.

This system can only realistically work if it required something more than a level 10 peasant with a few voidstones to make Excalibur or the Ebony Blade.

Until ESO augments crafting so that the components necessary to craft elite gear are found in end-game content like SO and vet DSA, I disagree with your premise.

One way or another, people should be required to finish SO to have / make /sell the best gear. If by way of drop or ancient component I don't care. A VR1 who uses the "jump to player" feature to Craglorn can presently make the best crafted gear the game has to offer.

Hmm, set crafting stations appearing inside VR dungeos (after killing last boss) could be an interesting option to eliminate level 10 "master crafters".

Dropped gear shouldn't be far more powerful than crafted gear. I agree that crafted gear should be competitive in end game content and pvp, even if dropped gear is a little more powerful.

no. the way the buffs are heavily effect the pvp climate. He specifically said he want s to share by pve getting its own way to earn buffs; as opposed to guilds and swaths of pve players logging on to start zerging low pop campaigns when they are threatened just to maintain a buff. Its in no way encouraging healthy balanced pvp but in fact doing the opposite.

no body is a level 10 master crafter unless its an alt being fed material by a main, and at that point its irrelevant because the main could do it but is choosing to keep skillpoints and level a crafting alt, seems like a non issue.
endgame raid material to further improve weapons would be cool. how about some of the master weapons drop as just the enchantments

EDIT -_- the patche notes didn't say how long it would last; it had gone down to I think was 5 secs ? to 4secs! still only still 4seconds it should be 20secs with R.P Since the buff last 20 secs. Now we would be talking! What hell imma do with 4 secs You guys want me to sit back and spam it? Love the Templar Healer Nerfs. /sarcasm

Seriously - hardest job in the game and we are gimped
Am I the only one that thinks that templars healing has been nerfed a lot..?

Sure we needed to be in pair with others, but I think that had something to be with giving other classes a buff in healing, not nerfing the Templar. We might not be viable healers after this update... Nerf + Dungeons increase in difficulty... nothing worth to be cleaned out there anymore, Restoration staff skill line is actualy superior by long (it already was, except for breath of life)... now my templar healer will be using only restoration staff skills, won't benefit from my templar healing tree anymore.

Did you really mean to destroy templars healing tree? Buff healing hot from cleanse ritual, less cast time on healing ritual... I mean, nobody uses healing ritual anymore, hot from resto staff is way better, nothing to be cleaned up in the game, massive nerf on both healing ritual and radiant aura.

And since Templars are meant to be The Healers - I get mildly annoyed over all this.

Templars don't need to be healers right now...the only skill you should have on your bar is blazing shield and the insane jesus beam skill that one shots anyone that looks at you wrong...

Maybe in PVP where a lot of people do not even play. The whole posts about this issue were based around PVE.
