Some ridiculous nerfs to certain skills (i.e. harness magicka) and absolutely ridiculous buffs to bows which are already overpowered. GG zos. You have listened only to the NB QQ on these forums rather than realising what the majority of your playerbase think / want.

Very nearly through with this game. Twinned with the exceptionally terrible performance in Cyrodiil these changes are likely going to ruin the game for me.

Hahahaha. Harness nerf and Devouring Swarm nerf = crying Sorcs.

Beautiful. No more facerolling, eh? Too bad. Either move on or adapt. As much as I agree with some other posts of yours, this post is absolutely hilarious.

You now need to be at least Alliance Rank 6 to purchase Forward Camps.

waaaaaiiiiiittt How is this a fix?
There are already enough people to lazy to buy a forward camp and now you wil remove it from some of the people who are below Alliance rank 6?

Poison Arrow's DoT component CANNOT CRIT in the live version of the game. Have you done anything about this?

I'll test it myself when I get the time to hop on, but if nothing was said I assume this is still an issue. And a mighty big issue it is.

Regardless, I love the rest of the patch notes, thanks for the hard work.

I assume the purpose of this change is to make it a little more challenging for a spy to deploy a troll forward camp. Although a dedicated spy could reach Alliance Rank 6 in a short amount of time if they are good at farming AP.

First, I do want to say that I thought there was some exaggeration during ESO Live about the update notes size. Whew.

Some of the Undaunted stuff does not make sense:
Non-veteran Pledges become available at level 45, and Veteran Pledges unlock at Veteran Rank 1.
With only 6 levels of non-veteran play, why bother with non-veteran Pledges at all?

    Tested on PTS

    Two Hander
    1. Arcane Fighter being removed and replaced with an absolutely awful Passive. This was a big nerf to 2 hander in my opinion. Arcane Fighter allowed 2 hander to have a pretty decent chance to apply a healing debuff.. and was far more damage over time then the new Passive is.

    2. Momentum is a fairly decent hot for stamina users...People leveling up with 2 hander will actually probably like 2 hander now.. as you get a Decent Damage Shield + hot now in the line.

    3. Dizzying Swing feels a lot better with 2 hander...the new 0.8 cast time makes it far more reasonable to use.

    4. I dislike the Stampede Nerf, but only because I'm a DK who used it to follow up Flame Whip. I imagine other classes wouldn't mind as much.

Two hander in general feels a lot better on PTS playwise, But you really should reverse the Arcane Fighter Change.

    Bow
    1. I like the Change to Poison Arrow, Makes Poison Injection pretty interesting now.
    2. I'm going to be honest...Lethal Arrow doesn't need a 1.1 Second Cast Time....I like killing people with Bow..but a 1.1 second Cast time Lethal Arrow is an overbuff...Please Revert this Change.

    1 Handed/Shield
    1. Love the Deep Slash Changes....
    2. Power Bash getting a Heal Debuff is really nice..Actually makes me want to use that ability now..

Evil Hunter: This ability now highlights vampire player characters in Cyrodiil.

They listen to QQers on these forums. Not serious players who are actually playing the game, and not crying here

I agree with you. But look again. Every type of mob, in every zone and levels, gets their own unique styles and effects.

Sure, some mobs will be easy. Some you get one-shot by.

    @lordrichter‌

This is because they are getting rid of veteran points and keeping everything exp. VR is just fancy 50 so you will still get exp as VR10 for fighting a 45 mob, but not as much as a vet mob.

In live right now, you would still get exp but since our vet ranks are based on vet points you do not increase in VR.

This is all being done to make way for the champion system. They have started laying the groundwork now to make the transition smoother.

I believe the idea with the dungeon scaling is that the pledges will give you incentive to revisit the dungeons that you already beat. I think this is geared to give repeat content instead of replace the quest you usually have in the dungeon.

Read it and what about block casting or armor abuse ??????????

Not entirely sure what armor abuse is referring to, but the block casting is something we talked about during our Guild Summit and covered during our latest ESO Live, too. It is something we're exploring options to, but any changes will very likely be after Update 5.

Armor abuse as in players in light armor using the heavy armor skill immoveable without even wearing one piece of heavy armor. Which i really confused about cause armor passive skills need you to wear at least one piece of armor. Like you need a bow to use bow skills a 2 handed weapon to use 2 handed skills so why can we use armor skills with out even wearing 1 piece of the armor? This is also another reason PvP is " imbalance " sure every one been seeing all the light armor players using immoveable to negate the stun attacks.

    Templar

    Dawn’s Wrath

Dark Flare: Fixed an issue where this ability’s graphical effect would stay on a target after it was removed.

Reflective Light (Sun Fire morph): Fixed an issue where this ability was applying two snares to secondary targets.

Fixed an issue where the synergy abilities Supernova and Gravity Crush did not have a target limit.

Fixed an issue where the Sun Fire snare duration wasn’t being increased by the Enduring Rays passive.

    Aedric Spear

Blazing Spear: Slightly improved your game performance when using this ability.

Spear Shards: Fixed an issue where this ability wasn’t damaging or disorienting stealthed enemies.

Fixed an issue with Focused Charge and Explosive Charge where you could charge through the target.

    Restoring Light

Fixed an issue where the Focused Healing passive wasn’t being applied to Rite of Passage healing.

Still not quite feeling the love here as a Templar @ZoS, but that's ok, I can live once Spellcrafting gets introduced....hint hint.

    Weapon
    Two Hand

Carve (Cleave morph): This ability now gives two Ultimate per target hit instead of three Ultimate.

Cleave: Fixed an issue where this ability could not critically hit. We also increased the initial hit damage by approximately 10%.

Critical Charge: Reduced damage of this ability by approximately 10%.

Critical Rush (Critical Charge morph): Increased the ranged damage bonus for this ability to 68%.

    Dizzying Swing (Uppercut morph):

Reduced the debuff for this ability to 15% from 20%.

This ability now has an increased duration, and applies to stun-immune monsters.

The debuff no longer stacks with similar effects such as Low Slash.

Forceful: This passive now applies splash damage to two targets instead of one.
    Heavy Weapons:

This passive now causes axes to deal bleed damage over 6 seconds instead of 10.

Increased the damage per tick, though the total damage dealt remains unchanged.

This passive now causes maces to ignore 20% of your target’s armor at Rank II.
Momentum: This ability now gives a flat 20% bonus to power instead of increasing over time. This ability also heals you while it’s active, and the duration has been increased to 30 seconds.

Rally (Momentum morph): This ability now gains an increased heal value over time, instead of healing for a flat value. This ability can also be activated at any time to instantly heal you.

Reverse Slice (Reverse Slash morph): Increased the area damage of this ability by approximately 100%, and it can now hit up to 6 targets.

Stampede (Critical Charge morph): This ability now snares targets by 60% instead of immobilizing them.

Uppercut: Reduced the cast time for this ability by approximately 12%. We also increased the damage by approximately 2%.

Replaced the Arcane Fighter passive with Follow Up. This will increase your damage by 5%/10% for 7 seconds after activating a fully charged heavy attack.

Everything in here was awesome, but I'll admit that I'm a little disappointed in the cast time reduction for Uppercut and the damage increase. I'm glad you're giving us an amazing Passive that I can only assume from it's wording that it's ALL forms of damage, which will make 2H pretty damn viable for more than just a couple of builds.

However a mere 2% increase to Uppercut is really disappointing, and at the moment 12% less on the cast time is really not cool. The move is still going to feel a bit sluggish and non-responsive.

Like I and many others have said and will probably continue to say, if you want that move to be the bread and butter of the 2H weapon line, make it a .5 Cast time and up the damage much more than just 2%. Like try for 20%.

EDIT* Slight moment of stupidity due to being way more tired than I thought after New York Comic Con. Uppercut's cast time reduction of 12% off of 1 Second is actually really good and I'm an ***, but I'd still love to see a larger boon to it's damage AND additionally a change to the Templar Skill Backlash so more than one Templar can cast the ability. One debuff is cool, but more than one skill needs to be usable at a time here.

Actually a great idea for Backlash too would be to either make it Instant Cast or have it with a cast time that also deals a DoT effect. Just saying, juuuuust saying.

I'm sad about the changes to swarm, but if it means I don't get roflstomped by the impulse/bat conga line as often I support the changes. The changes that make us vamps glow in cyrodiil is a shame but gives me more reason to stay stealthed I suppose. I do like the fact that there seem to be some more definitive downsides for players to be vamp than there were previously but I do wonder, if players have the morph that allows their abilities to affect werewolves as well, will they also glow in cyrodiil or will it just be vamps?

I use Rally part of my tank build and yes I am a 2H heavy armor tank pre-patch. But that's not the thing the thing is the second part. The first part i understand the healing effect you get after rally ends is boosted it's the second part i don't get. So you can insta-heal every time you use rally? Like you already have it active then you use it again to restart it and when you restart it the previous rally effect heals you? Or it just heal you when you use is?

It takes 1,432,550 Experience Points to gain a Veteran Rank. We expect this to greatly reduce the amount of time it takes to gain a Veteran Rank.

That reduces the total XP for VR ranks to 44.4% of what it used to be.

I tried to compare the XP from kills to Live to see if they had been reduced accordingly. It appears that the Live update 1.4.6 already reduced the amount somewhat so I can't do a direct comparison, but it appears that XP for mobs was only reduced by around 55%, so you are getting more per kill and need less XP to level so leveling will go very fast now, maybe too fast.

I can't check on quest XP because my only high level character just completed them all. But it seems getting through the VR levels will no longer be much of an effort.

    Add-Ons

All of my Add-Ons show out of date and some are returning multiple errors, I did not see anything in the notes about any API changes, are there any? The Add-Ons Settings window is blank, normally I have 6 listed there. This will be the first time I have used Add-Ons on the PTS, is this normal or should they work as they do on live?

    No, that's exactly it.

Cast Rally, get a HoT. Get hit hard, go "Oh *** mate!" cast Rally again, end the effect early and get a full on heal from it. It's a Stamina Based Self Heal for people that aren't Templar's or DK's.

Weren't improved facial animations part of the update 4 Patch notes too??

    Improved Facial Animations
Goodbye sock puppet mouth, hello lip-synch! We have completed the implementation of the basic FaceFX pipeline, processed over 100,000 lines of dialogue and completed the phoneme creation for all of the races in the game. Facial animations will now synchronize with the dialogue they are speaking. There are some specific monsters that are not updated yet because they do not share the standard “human” animation rig, but these will be updated in the future.

Shouldn't they get it working on XP and OSX BEFORE they say they did it??

To my comprehension, all Momentum buffs now have a Heal Over Time effect for the duration.

Rally, it appears, gets a stronger HoT and then the buff can be recast to turn the HoT into an instant heal.

Have not got on PTS to formally test yet though. Interested in this for my 2 handed build as well, have been using Rally as a core skill for it already.

Veteran Ranks are now earned by Experience Points instead of Veteran Points. From this moment on, Veteran Points shall be banished from the land of Tamriel. When a Veteran Rank is earned, you will be rewarded with an Attribute Point and a Skill Point.

Does that mean we'll receive the appropriate amount of atts and skill points according to our Vet Ranks, retroactive at the time 1.5 hits live servers?

Nope. Immoveable that works with no heavvy arm. equipped is the main reason, imho, that makes heavvy armor so useless...
