Somebody asked for the final scores and I posted them for him, also explaining that unfortunately I didn't have a non-stylised version.

Then Kris proceeded to do some baiting, when he should know better really :P

Starting to get bored of all the Q_Q here about low population bonuses. They are awarded from actual quantitative population values (not just low / med / high). Saying you watched the populations closely means nothing. the majority of the nights I saw DC & EP having significantly more players online compared to AD (even though we were all on 'low'). My point is that EP / DC could have ~50 players online and AD only ~10. This is one of the triggers for the low population bonus.

IF you want to night cap - you better do it properly. If you're unable to take all keeps & scrolls with many more players, expect punishment in the form of low population bonus.

So finally we found banana who is thinking the bonus is justified. Good for you. But i really don't know who is night capping more than the others with more player than the others. At the end ZOS made my dream almost real. I can now be as lazy in the game as I am in the real life. Making money by sleeping and doing almost nothing. But wait, If I don't need to work a lot to make enough money, and if I don't need to play a lot to win, what will I do with my time... I should try cup-and-ball.

On average, AD had significantly fewer players online. Fact. Therefore a low population bonus is justified. Fact.

My opinion would be that the bonus at the moment is disproportionate. Getting 4x multiplier on all points would seem reasonable if the alliance has a limited base score (up to three or four keeps / <80 points). However AD were able to do much more with their fewer players and were able to hold ~200 base points (~800 low population points) at times.

Does the system need a change? Probably. Limiting the amount of bonus points past a certain value would seem like a logical choice.

You can't prove fact #1. You said it yourself as a counter argument to somone looking at the pop bars that it means nothing. And it is true: how much a bar represents? How much of the total population? Can we say that the player cap did not change throughout that last campaign? Would the pop bonus calculations scale accordingly?

As for fact #2, sorry but it seems like having this system is a huge crutch because the benefiting alliance can still be relevant or have their name in the race even though they are not there.

Sorry to say that myself and many other members of Wabbajack won't be playing this month. I'm going to go finish the the gold story, farm dungeons and maybe try some trials.

I know this isn't any AD members fault, and I'm sorry to the PVP community but I'm done fighting against this. I might come farm some AP if I get bored, but to hell with objectives and campaign wins.

Working as intended @ZoS_PaulSage? One can only assume that this is part of an ongoing process then, the intent of which is to drive DC and EP from the Thornblade campaign. Since this is EU's busiest campaign, maybe the desired outcome is the complete death of PvP. I can say with some degree of certainty that it is fulfilling that purpose.

Further than that, since PvE content seems primarily aimed at elite groups, there are a rapidly diminishing number of reasons to play ESO for me (and, I assume, others like me).

The shame is, I have thus far not complained about the bugs, imbalances, design flaws, broken mechanics, and have loved the game quite loyally but my rose coloured glasses have a distinct yellow tinge to them this morning.
