THORNEBLADE END OF CAMPAIGN PARTY!

I would like to invite everyone from each faction to lay down their swords, staves and most definitely their bows to join us for a part at the Imperial City bridge during the last hour of the campaign.

We can duel, we can drink and we can... PARTY!!!

to be fair DC and EP do quite often have hordes (looking at you Oswolf) vs our small 10-15 man night group Low pop might be accurate even if AD achieve more with their numbers. I agree the number of points is too high though.

Wednesday Morning isn't so great with work the next day how about we party in the evening of the new campaign ?

You had hordes too sometimes in the last 2 weeks.

But it's no time to argue again to a broken scoring system. It's time to bring a little truce and to have all Tamriel peoples joining for a party. Unfortunally I will be busy morning and evening and I will not join. So have a nice party ! And see you on the battlefield for the next round.

In regards to the low population bonus I do think the campaign would be shockingly different if it hadn't have happened, however I also believe that had it not been happening it would have convinced more players to be online fighting, which knowing how strong AD are might actually have them higher up than they are now.

The lowpop - bonus should be to catch up and not to win while do nothing...

EP: 97739
AD: 85570
DC: 84895

why is this not possible on EU Thornblade...

The Bonus is to high and rewarding the wrong faction.

Often while red and yellow is locked blue has only 2 or 3 Bars filled.

This have to be a bug!

To get the result of the Thornblade EU campaign, subtract the unjustified 6000 points they got from the "population" bonus from the AD score. The winner will be the side that scores most with that taken into consideration.

I obviously feel a lot of sympathy for EP & DC who saw AD get these bonuses, but you simply can't predict what the scores would be now without them. It might have prompted AD to respond a lot earlier than it did.

I am truly and genuinely not blaming any AD players for this. Not THEIR fault. But a dodgy mechanism has given them a huge advantage. When you put in hours and effort and it is nullified by incompetent design and/or decisions and/or programming which has nothing to do with the game then it sticks in the craw.

The 6,000 points is a low estimate. And while we could not predict what the scores would be without this piece of crud we can certainly say it has allowed AD to ignore Thornblade and focus efforts on other campaigns an just come back at the last minute. We may as well not have the month - just a series of one day games with scores set at 60.000 each to get the same effect.

I don't blame AD players either, although I feel there's been some exploiting of the system going on, seeing as AD mysteriously disappears into other campaigns and returns to Thornblade EU to do night caps IN ADDITION to getting +400 bonus per hour...

The only thing I can say is I'm tired and I don't feel the campaign reflects what went on for the past 30 days. I'll still try to revert the situation however I can, but I'm seriously frustrated at having to fight for each and every point in the score while another faction had maybe 6000 points (underestimated?) handed to them on a platter.

Sorry we hardly needed some papers for our toilets. We stayed too long in Alessia and Aleswell yesteray and the food is terrible.

I was enjoying some oven baked chicken and chips (my dinner) while my toon was crouched behind a tree and I was listening to the TS conversation between my guildies as they chased the scroll.

A lot of them felt that if it hadn't been for the lag stopping all the CC skills from working they might have managed to halt that group.

But credit to them, it was clever play waiting for the gate to open and rushing in to grab the scroll.

I wouldn't call it amazing personally. It was admirable but without the lag it would have been a different story.

e.g. had the NPC's actually attacked them at the temple rather than just lagging out with no damage or had the groups that traveled to them been able to do any damage at all to the scroll carrier.

Either way it was a nice ninja

Yeah it was just a lag win. I was riding my horse right through a bunch of blues and reds catching up with the scroll carrier, I must have passed a hundred enemies before I was eventually dismounted.

This case being the low pop bonus points we got in AD being totally out of whack...

No last-hour party for me either, at the time the campaign ends I'm probably still sleeping...

Having discovered that AD scored nearly 900 last night through a low pop bonus and yet again DC were lowest pop all day when anyone was (EP was a bar ahead as usual) let's just say I wouldn't be surprised if it were later to come out that some rotten eggs did manipulate this mechanism intentionally. Most AD wouldn't and certainly most of those that post here. But a thread was recently closed...I wouldn't be surprised if someone of that type was stupid enough to think he was being very clever.

AD are about 500 ahead of DC at present...

Also are there any DC who would like to start working on a formal exchange of Chalman and Dragonclaw? I feel with how often we own the wrong keeps we should just exchange home keeps.

Not really. No-one but the pugs really cares for DC. They should probably move the home keeps on the borders one to the left since we own Brindle so often and you (EP) own DC so often

Sadly just as you organised we started to fall apart on our ability to coordinate. Was a fun back and forth of wipes though, looking forward to our bomb leaders running more like it (I only lead those when they AFK or leave for the night, I'm really bad with bomb groups!).

DCs actually had about as many as AD imo just most of you were sitting on the scroll rather than achieving anything as proved when Anaire and I ran into the scroll area and then afk'd for 10m or so on returning people were still camping the scroll area (smart thing to do) because they had seen us run in not to mention the 10+ at the gate.

Also i'm aware that people have been whispered saying certain groups are exploiting the bonus system by all logging out until the bonus comes online, none of the groups I run with and im sure not KoCyro are doing this as you will see by the fact we are pvping all the evening and most of the night the bonus actually only came in by the sounds of it when most of us logged off for the night leaving DC's online to recap the scrolls.
