What do you want, a game that does not improve where you are treated with disrespect? Or do you want to show that something matters to you as a player so that maybe ZOS takes notice and does something about it? Better yet which player do you think ZOS appreciates more? The players that stand by simply using them to play their game and enjoy it without contributing to make it better through discussion while also criticizing anyone who does? Or the player that stands up for themselves and shows ZOS what they want and what is important to them so that they can make a better game, and in turn make more money off of not just current Subs but future new players in a way that is far more efficient then dangling a shiny toy in front of newcomers? Think before you type, if you are name calling or saying we are whining you are not being constructive nor helpful in any manor, you are being a bully. Assuming that we aren't rightfully entitled to this, ignoring the fact that we were already promised access to 100% of the content in the game, are we still not allowed to voice our opinions? There's this thing called free speech. If we aren't entitled to the dog, and we aren't entitled to full Steam integration, then we're at least entitled to free speech. For some reason, we've gotten it in our heads that "customer service" consists of throwing goodie-bags at the customer until they shut up. Sometimes, good customer service is ignoring the few customers who think that complaining is an American pastime. You shouldn't get the white wolf on purely moral grounds at this point, because that rewards bad behavior. It sets a precedent for more bad behavior in the future when players want something they don't have a right to.
You are definitely not customer service material.

This comment is a joke, if it is not against the rules of the private forum then it is allowed. You trying to tell us not to is trying to say you made the forum rules and I don't think the mods take that very well. In addition to this, look back a few pages notice how some comments have been removed by mods, those were some of the ones reported for bullying, they aren't allowed on the forums. If you do not have something constructive to add to the discussion then just stay out of it.
You can do that, sure, as long as you clearly specify "whining". The definition depends solely on the person doing the defining, so simply starting a "petition to stop whining" opens up a whole can of worms that I doubt the moderators would deal with even if it was a unanimous vote.txfeinbergsub17_ESO wrote: »emeraldbay wrote: »We're entitled to speak our minds via this forum's Terms of Use. Now there is an excellent idea. Lets start a vote to get the terms of service changed to disallow this whining. The forums would be a lot quieter place.

It's not a joke. It's actually quite accurate. Whether the discussion is allowed on these boards is irrelevant to the comment. He is not saying what you can and cannot say, he is commenting on using free speech as a basis to your argument which has no relevance here. Do you understand yet?

What I am saying is that instead of free speach being the issue it is simply up to the forum rules which allow it. What he was originally trying to state was that we aren't even allowed to post here about the issue and the fact is we are.
Free speech is plenty relevant here. We're allowed to express our opinions as we please, but here, as also in the constitution, our rights end where the next person's begin. When you impede another person's ability to enjoy posting on these forums (naming and shaming, bullying, etc.), you are no longer within your rights. They're similar enough to be compared in this case, so simply dismissing my point because of my choice of words is a bit childish, don't you think?Arsenic_Touch wrote: »ianangelospreub18_ESO wrote: »

I actually get it quite well and I'm amused that you're still stamping your feet about it. You invoked freedom of speech to base your argument on, he said that freedom of speech doesn't matter on a private forum. He's right, it doesn't. No one is saying you can or cannot say anything so stop bringing it up, The discussion is over with, now run along.
Also, you were not promised 100% access to content, and even if you were you aren't being denied access to any content either because there is nothing stopping you from buying it. This is pretty much a whine fest at this point because you want the promotion which is meant to entice other people to buy the game through a new avenue.
Well, I can obviously tell that you're running out of logical arguments. However, since quite frankly I have nothing better to do, I'll do what you ask. Just this once - don't tell anyone.Arsenic_Touch wrote: »emeraldbay wrote: »Free speech is plenty relevant here. No it's not and anyone invoking it has no idea what it means. But keep pretending that free speech means something on a private forum, it's kind of cute.

Well I guess, who cares about existing subs, lets appeal to vanity players. At least that guarantees a few new people paying100+ sterling to play a few weeks of a sub based single player rpg. Desperate times, desperate measures.
Maybe think about making them accessible in some fashion to the people who have stuck out the last 3 months of headaches. In fact it would go far in making a mends for the 4 weeks of jacked up fps dumps in cyrodil

Yep Every time someone uses the term "Free Speech" on the internet, some know-it-all comes along to demonstrate their knowledge of the US Constitution.
Approximately none of them knows that the term predates that document by at least a century. The Parliament of England passed a Bill of Rights ensuring "freedom of speech" in 1689. The ancient greeks bounced the concept around.
