You guys think you have problems, as i'm in PNG every Gb costs me approx $40. I spent $120 on the update and it broke the game with the same problem, so far (2 requests for help from customer support) and I got one answer that was talking about a *** memory leak. Completly missing my problem. And no answer to the second where I was very specific about the issue.

I can understand slow responses, but to not bother understanding and responding with some generic bull *** is pathetic. If they need me to dl anything else of any significent size to play (if they ever bother fixing it) then they can forget it. Not wasting anymore money on it.

I have been out of the game for 7 days now have tried every step and still get the black screen and crash while I love this game I do belive its bull**** that tech has still not contacted me in two days.......

i just put in a 90 days sub right before the patch... really wish i wouldn't have done that.

Plenty of suggestions by tech support (pretty much a new one every 24hrs), I try it, it fails, I report back - wait 24hrs. Stuck in a circle.

Same situation, reinstalled five times over, the thing has cost me a fortune in addon data fees, finally get a installation that works-NO F***ing SOUND, try repairing verifys checks starts a 5gb dl that wont complete, re tried repairing 8 times now, it consumes my data but never ever actually dls the 5gb. The whole thing is absolutely ridiculous, and support is terrible for this issue. Also it seems that whatever else has been going on with this *** code its totally destroyed my r9 290, now it chugs along at approximately a 3rd of its performance, retried /updated the drivers, nope seems its totally buggered a brand new card.Totally pissed off with the whole *** thing.

this is *** ridiculous, ive tried every possible fix on this site, other sites, every single forum post, and nothing is working

i tried every fix as well for days, nothing worked. so i reinstalled after deleting every eso file from my mac. i used the disc to install and now it finally works after a day and a half of patching.i dont recommend this if you have not tried every possible solution yet, since i have seen people post that it did not work for them. but if it comes down to this then dont forget to delete every single file before reinstall.

I just unsubbed this broken game.

I hope the customer support will respond you before the end of your subscription.

In the mean time try a DVD install, it worked for me.

If you mean a physical copy, a few of ours purchased the digital version, if only for the early access!

This issue comes down to the lack of a patch. Patching or updating your game is necessary to properly launch and enjoy the world of Tamriel. You stopped the update and tried to play on a different version which would result in a fatal error. This is not something that is broken, it is something that is incomplete. It's a download that the game tried to download and you have rejected.

Moving forward, I really do apologize that you feel that we have not properly communicated the amount of space you would need. However, please check out here to see our statement about disc space. This is right on our knowledgebase and there is all kind of useful information there! Was there anything else that you believe is not being communicated to you?

So, the download broke at 99% and so you're *** and it's all your fault. Because you didn't want to download a patch that was 22Gb in size for such a trivia reason that it would cost a fortune in Papau New Guinea (3rd world country) why should we fix it, now bugger off so we can start drinking tea and watching reruns of I love Lucy.

The second part of it is because I had a massive problem with the fact that I cannot get someone in Oz to download it onto a 64Gb USB stick, you need 60Gb apparently so yeah, can see that's my fault ...... oh hang on 60 is less then 64?? please look at this faq that says game is 27gb and you need 60gb but without being clear as to if this is 87gb overall.

This is pathetic, I expect this crap from EA not from Bethesda.

I want a month added back and an apology. Will I get either?

so I called customer support and talked with a guy named nick, he informed me that there was a fix for this and told me he would email me the link and then call me in an hour to make sure everything was ok

its been 2 days and I still havnt gotten a call or an email

I had the same issue right after the game patch. I even tried launching the .exe rather than using launcher and the game would just die.... so I tried the standard help-desk 1st line of defense -- I restarted my computer.

And the game ran from the launcher. Shortly after playing for a while the launcher crashed and caused my system to not even blue-screen but to just reboot (my HW-monitor logs showed everything fine just before the crash temp and voltage wise).

I tried again just launching the .exe file (no launcher) and ran OK for about an hour -- till i quit because the graphics issues and latency were starting to make me rage.

I would try the game in compatibility mode before downloading it again.

im almost to the point where I don't even want my time in the game back, just my *** money since this *** isn't getting addressed at all

Unfurtunatly that's a whole differant problem and won't fix this one.

At what point do they acknowledge they've broken it for certain people and compensate them for the time that they can't go onto the game?

It's easy, "Hi, we've noticed you've not played the game in three weeks since reporting a game breaking patch, we will provide a months free access continuosly until we see that you have been able to log on again.

We are truly sorry for this inconveniance"

Or they can go with "Whatever, *** you bro"

I still know people who can't access the game despite re-downloading the client, I imagine it's quite inconvenient given they're paying for sub and whatnot.

this is just getting ridiculous iv had the game for three weeks and haven't been able to play if its not fixed by my next payment definitely unsubing zenimax support are just useless so i don't see it getting fixed

At this rate the only real solution is to re-download the game and hope it fixes it. I've heard of people having to do this multiple times before it actually worked, which obviously sucks.
