I've never seen things like this in a MMO, bugs? sure.. server being down? yeah sure.
But now I have to reinstall this game again because the patch you made works for some people but for others do not?
I wont download the game and am unsubbing NOW.
Stick with solo games because clearly, you dont even know what you're doing in this one.

Totally agree with you and thinking about unsubbing myself.

Installed trought dvd and downloading 1.0 patch right now.

Haven't had this problem since way back but you might try reapplying your server (NA or EU). You can do this by selecting the other server, then your server and apply. Shot in the dark but its fixed several issues for me before.

I uninstalled everything and downloaded it again, but the error was not fixed and I was not ablet to run the game... so I asked my mate and I copied the game from him via external HDD and voala the game is now OK and working...

Sorry, didn't get the screenshots of the folders because it finally finished patching. I think I ended up downloading about 15 gigs or so.

I got another 2.6GB after endless updating.
Why even bothering selling a DVD package, am dowloading the whole day.

Completely missed hireling, mount feed and FIRST GUILD RAID IN CRAGLORN.

Is this a premium service? No.

Is this even worth a f2p service? No.

A whole game day gone unrefunded, a lot of frustation up now guys.

How a 2.7GB patch could broke 24GB of files? Missed a check version?

Curious, how do we go about getting the host.developer log file? I can find everything else but I'm a bit uncertain.

Technologically challenged here, no idea where abouts I can find this. In my Zenimax online folder there's a Launch icon, but even so I still don't know where to look. I'm using a mac and I have little experience with macs .

Full reinstall worked for me where 3 x several patching and repairing cycles (including 20+ GB downloads) did not. I've read that this hasn't worked for everyone.

Unfortunately, with as many people as are having problems with this issue, this just seems ridiculous. Obviously there is a big problem here.

Look, I've been playing MMOs since 1999. I have never once, in any of them, threatened to quit because of poor performance of a game because I expect it, especially in the beginning. When I can't even get into the game, though, that's a problem. I'm currently subbing for this and another MMO and I was very close to shutting down my sub for the other MMO for this game, but this patch has just saved that other MMO, and now this game is on the block for me. I seriously hope this gets fixed soon, though I don't expect it with the holiday weekend upon us.

I'm basically going to just check in on the forums for the next couple days, but otherwise, I'm giving up on this game for the weekend, and if things aren't put to right next week, I'm going to have to cancel my sub before the next billing hits. It's simply not worth it if I can't even log in.

Ok. It looks like I have the same problem, but maybe a little different. I patched the game and then when I hit play it loads up but the screen is flickering the whole time. I exit the game and my computer continues to flicker. Whatever ESO did my video card didn't like it. The only way I can stop the flicker is to shutdown my computer. Anyone heard of a fix yet?

Same issue I'm having. Game worked great pre 1.1.2. Now complete reinstall and still won't patch correctly. Tried changing mega server location, deleting and restoring .version files, pausing update and repairing - nothing works. 2 and a half days after patch and haven't even been able to get in.

Going to re-download the client at a friend's house and hopefully it works.

I'm going to ask about compensation, do we get sub time back for this? Because I think those of us who have missed out on game time due to this latest patch are entitled to it.

Nothing changed after new 50mb patch. Game still crashes with Error 11 after I click Play

thought id give the day1 of craglorn a miss and have all the bandwidth to myself to download the update and miss any day1 bugs

how wrong I was. CANNOT EVEN LOG INTO THE GAME NOW. upon hitting play I get a black screen..................

My computer updated without a hitch. I have the usual problems like everyone else with the missing achievements, but that's about it so far. However, my wife's computer now crashes immediately after clicking play with the Windows "eso.exe has stopped working" message. Nothing was done to her computer other than downloading the latest patch.
