Launcher broken / clicking play automatically crashes.

I clicked Repair then Verifying was started. Verifying was finished then Checking Download started. It was finished and now launcher Downloads 23Gb... I don`t mind it but I don`t think it will help

Guy theese customer support people are useless.
Can you help me decide if i should try a DVD install and then do all patch from 0.8 or try download this 23G thing and play in 2 days?

I'm having the exact same issue, post patch, instant crash, tried repair (also led to full download so quit it, and Zen we do understand the difference between scanning for corrupted files and the excessive repair download), EU server, logging in from Aus also. I have tried restarting the computer in hopes of that helping! No such luck. Anyone got any other tips?

I did repair also. It said it was doing a full download which should have taken like 10-12 hours, that was at 3am. I went to bed now at 10 am the download is done, the game is up and playable. No way did it do the full download. I have no idea how long it took but it was ready when I got up.

You might need to download less with the install from the DVD. Can't be sure about this though...

They simply don't know their code. They are so amateurs i've seen better software from India.

Well but its going to be downloading the whole game after the 2 filechecks. And i played yesterday and Wednesday with those Files perfectly. There is something wrong with this patch, or anything of these files are in trouble with the patcher.

If the download startet this morning, there was an 201 manifest error with a Repairrequest. I was running this repairfunction until the Download from 22 GB. At this point, i 've broke up and close the launcher. After the restart the launcher was able to patch this 3,8 GB and now...i get a Fatal Error after patching when i am starting the game. The window become black before the logomovie starts and the crash reporter is poping up.

I do. I've got a notebook with this chipset and Radeon HD 8600M. Although I don't think that this issue is related to graphic card...

I repaired several times before it was done, but now that it is finished I don't have the option to repair. I click play and don't get an error it just sits on a loading screen forever and never loads the character screen. WTF

The premium customer support i pay for told me to redownload that "few" 23G of corrupetd file so i am trying a dvd install. Why that?

Because they are totally incompetent in their work.

That doesnt already meant, that the redownload didnt work on your rig. Its not possible to say, some people had luck too

If the game starting to work on your rig, make a secure copy ^^

I have repaired 3 x which has resulted in 3 x 20+ GB downloads each time. I still get error 11 when I hit play.

Currently reinstalling the game. Seems like a pretty extreme solution. Will post here if it makes a difference.

So @ZOS_EveP‌ thank for your answer but after 1 hour and 45 min of waiting your response i've decide for a fresh install by DVD.

A guildmate of mine just got all working after downloading the 20G patch.
So try it if you are a lucky guy.
Two hours for realizing they need to investigate.....i guess how much they will need for fix this.

I don't know if this help or not, after every patch before i start game i delete all mods/add-on just on to fell "safe", because after headstart i suffer same problem, patch-F*error-reinstall.

Speaking of Zenimax Online folder, i don't have it. Somehow, i have 3 folders in my Games folder related to ESO. Although i'm not sure that it's the issue, cause it worked perfectly before the update...
