Hmmmm soooo... you can get quests from NPC's as if you've never gotten the quest before... I wonder if this'll lead to grinding extra skill points...

If it is simply a display error than why does completing the last few quests for a zone on my daggerfall alt not grant the achievement? i was just a few quests away from completion on the character. played some today. noticed I didn't get the achievment and saw I was only 5/55 for the zone, when those last 5 quests should have granted completion.

Surely, there is at least one developer on your team who saw how unethical your decisions to ignore the PTS reports and shove this update out the door were, and didn't want to go through with it?

Find them, and put them in charge. Maybe then, the players will get a product worthy of a subscription.

Ha, so what? Are you going to give us another free 5 days of play time out of your just...magnificent generosity? While people have lost over 15 days worth of progress? I didn't think the game could get any more broken, and you found a way! Speaking of achievements, this is a big one for you, and nobody can take that one away from you! Isn't that just grand?

People have every right to be angry and vocal about this. The fact that you have chosen to sink this thread shows your true nature and how little respect you hold for your playerbase and your customers. Zenimax, when this game dies (should you stay your current course of operation), you'll have yourselves to blame. Not the spammers, or botters, or cheaters, you.

"Shove it out the door! We'll patch the patch later!" Just business as usual over there, huh?

"Thank you for your patience." You know, that wouldn't seem so hollow if we hadn't been reporting this issue to you for weeks, and then you turn around and say that you'll have a fix for it in a few weeks after releasing the update anyway.

I don't know about grinding extra skill points coz I am talking about existing ACTIVE quests not finished ones that you already got the reward from them.

I would like to add on to this by saying that not only are the achievements not showing as completed, but also those that have had their quest number reduced e.g. Bankorai down to 36 from the original 53, are not given if the requirement is there. Prior the the original 53 I had 42/53. The achievement was not given to me. I do, however, still have the Cyrodiil Champion and Hero of the Pact achievement. I will attach a sceenshot that may be found as helpful. You'll notice that I have checkmarks for all other zones except Bangkorai, yet those achievements are shown as not done or incomplete on the Daggerfall Covenant tag.

I'm going to assume that the cause of the bug is that achievements are not counting the quests completed prior to the update. Come next week, I believe that The Elder Scrolls Online will be a quiet place. People shouldn't have to pay to have their progress taken away from them by unethical, arrogant developers.

I can't say for 100% sure, but I think when I logged in after the update, some of the quests I had to do were gone. Like, I'm unable to them now. Because I was level 12 and had a few level 13 quests to do, but now they're not there to do.

They stated that they would have a fix "in a few weeks." The Play-Testers have been reporting this issue for weeks before this update was released.

This is not just a "Cosmetic Issue"!!!

I just teleported back to Hollow City in Coldharbour to find that there aren't any townspeople any more!!! I worked my butt off in this zone and now all the progress I made is gone!!! That's 5 DAYS of hard game paying GONE.... WTH ZOS?!?!

This is utterly unacceptable. I am paying you $17.50/month for this and this is how you treat your customers?!?

I want those 5 days of game play back so I can go back and fix your screw up!

"Cosmetic Issue" is an outright lie. They know it's not, we all know it's not.

Zenimax knew 1.1.2 would break the game even more, and they released it anyway. Now we all get to pay the price.

I can't believe they demand a monthly subscription to turn around yank people's progress and experiences back out from under them on a whim, then say "We'll fix it eventually, thanks for your patience!"

High hopes for them to fix an achievement bug? I would hope that it's not over their head lol.

I am still chugging along having fun, things like this wont break me as I know they will be back at some point. The change to the mobs in the VR areas, now that may get me to take a step back at this point and wait till they fix that.

Just know that these issues were repeatedly reported on for weeks before 1.1.2's release on the PTS by the Play-Testers, and they chose to shove it out the door anyway, knowing how game-breaking it would be.

FFS i didnt want to post this Gina but iam realy TIRED! of this...

those quest archievements where alredy bugged since the PTS 1week January! And since then people already bug report those bugs....we didnt hear NOTHING till now, now you fixed it..but guess what!! YOU broke even more archievements and NOTHING got fixed!!..

For what am i paying!! Do your job and for onece response on me, you left me out cold in out private conversation, while i was realy soportive about this..but now iam angry realy!

I cannot believe this patch got pushed to EU. There's widespread reoccurring rollback issues at megaserver end too on US which I suspect will replicate too.

Today is not going to be a fun day for Zenimax Online Studios. They keep punching themselves in the face, and wondering why it hurts.

I used to champion this game to my friends. Now, I'm telling everyone to stay away from it, far away. I convinced one person to cancel their PS4 pre-order...appreciate the small victories, I guess.

It's funny, how Zenimax can make such a great friend of the botters and gold-sellers with their "fixes," and enemies of even the most loyal fans of The Elder Scrolls Online.

im loyal till the end..i don't get angry of a game....I mean it is a game right? I have always loved ES games! this game shows promise and I wont give up on it just yet. im going to ride it out till the end and not whine and moan about all their problems and just focus on the positives that I see...none of you may see the positives that I do andi t is hard to explain.

this is the first MMO where I have yet to get bored..SWTOR I got bored after my 2 55 and now I have 6 of them and was bored the whole time. WoW.....well I wont get started there but it was fun for a time. I love making alts and trying out different classes and playstyles! endgame is kinda iffy for me as Its like repetition of doing the same boss over and over with the same abilities!

so again...yes the game is buggy but im having a lot of fun learning my class and reading the books (OMG SOOO MANY NOM NOM BOOKS!) (this one loves books) only wall I reached with books is the eidetic memory where a lot of the books are missing >_<

if you play in EU and care for your achievements/hard -earned titles , and find another game to play for '' at least two weeks'' ??

First I logged in my VR4 DC nb to see that I had indeed gotten some achievements that I hadn't gotten credit for. Then I log in my 44 EP sorcerer and discover that not only did I not get the achievements that I hadn't gotten credit for, I also no longer show that I have done any quests at all. Not exactly sure how I got to Coldharbor without doing any quests, but whatever. I tried relogging and totally restarting the game and still nothing.
