Just double checked and yes, this was also the cause of the long queues on console servers over the weekend.

I think the main issue with this incident is that in the past when something of such magnitude was occurring, there would be a red-banded banner saying that you were aware of it - potentially with a thread containing further updates or information.

You're right - we do normally post a forum banner and a tweet from the Bethesda Support Twitter (X?) account so everyone is at least aware that we're looking into things, and this didn't occur this time. This is part of what we have been discussing internally to understand what happened and how it can be prevented again in the future.

i have a problem ingame that for me it seems like they just refuse to solve or answer to. It's chronologically these tickets:

As you know the first 6 digits are the date yymmdd. Theres 10 tickets across 20 days. Meaning i had to make another ticket the next day after they closed the previous one, because the issue was not solved.
Between those are some more but they were closed as duplicate, wrongly because none of them were duplicates, they were an entirely separate occurrence each with its own different video.
I followed their instructions and all of them got closed as solved, but the issue is still happening.

So my question is, where can i get an answer about what is happening? How can i know if i do something wrong if i just keep getting ignored everywhere.
I also tried some emails from the website like "info@ ..", and forum private message, and nowhere i got an answer.
If this is the wrong place to ask, i would like to be pointed onto the right direction.

In general, we recommend replying to an existing ticket rather than creating a new one if it's in regards to the same issue, otherwise you're essentially starting the process over each time.

Recent Queue Times & Login Issues

Hi everyone,

We’d like to discuss the issues many of you experienced on the PC NA and EU megaservers over the weekend, including the exceptionally long queue times and Error 103 messages.

While many were in the game and playing, a significant number were essentially "stuck" in queue with far higher queue times than expected. After a few hours of investigation, we identified the problem which boiled down to a backend system being in a bad state and needed to be restarted. However, due to there being so many players in queue when it was restarted, it took a long time to get everyone through the queue and into the game.

We recognize that we totally dropped the ball on communicating any of this to you all, and for this, we apologize. We are already discussing ways to improve internal communications in the future to help mitigate this from recurring.

That being said, with so many new players in the game right now, some brief queue times may be expected. However, if you are continuing to run into any errors since Sunday when trying to log into the game (such as Error 103), please submit a Support ticket so we can help you troubleshoot. In your ticket, be sure to include the following information:

Which server you are trying to log into
What region (country) you are logging in from
Your internet service provider
Which error message you are getting, if any
The date and time you began experiencing the issue or error

Again, apologies for not keeping everyone updated and thanks as always for your continued support and understanding.

PTS Patch Notes v9.1.3

The Elder Scrolls Online v9.1.3 has some minor fixes for content across the base game affecting UI, furnishings, and some visual oddities, and also includes a slight adjustment for the Inferno Staff and some Tales of Tribute NPCs. The size of this patch is approximately 970MB.

General

Fixed an issue where slotted passive effects that persisted through bar swap, such as Grim Focus, could benefit targets under the influence of Oakensoul or Werewolf.

Weapons

Ancient Knowledge
- Inferno Staff: This staff type now also increases your damage done with Status Effects by 6/12% in addition to Damage over Time.
  Developer Comment:
  We saw a lot more positive sentiment after last week’s changes, suggesting we're on the right track with this passive for Inferno and Lightning. One little detail seemed to be missing though, where Lightning staff granted a large bonus and a niche one, while Inferno staff was missing its niche affix. We're adding back a Status Effect interaction similar to what we had in weeks 1 and 2 to add that niche gameplay interaction and hopefully giving a nod to the cool build theories we saw in the first couple weeks.

Quests

Uneasy Alliances: Fixed an issue where Za'ji may disappear, requiring you to leave the area and return, after speaking to Clan Mother Tadali.

Expert NPCs will now use all the cards available in the Almalexia deck.
Novice NPCs now play more appropriate to their level.

Sanity’s Edge Trial

Ansuul the Tormentor
- In Normal difficulty, player characters will once again be stunned when venturing into the Ritual Maze before the effect has diminished.

Dungeons

March of Sacrifices
- Balorg is once again immune to taunt during the hunt phase.

Quests

Kill 150 Players: The bestowal and finisher text now consistently refers to the new required number in the Aldmeri version of this quest.

Secrets of the Telvanni

Revised Master Faras's appearance, mostly to trim down his out-of-control beard.
The Cost of Knowledge: Fixed an issue where Master Faras and his daughters remained present in circumstances where they should not be.
Turn the Page: Gilvas Vedran no longer appears at the ritual site if you've completed the daily at least once and are not actively on the step to free Master Faras (where you can intentionally not interact with him; never interrupt your boss when they're making a mistake). You can always find him at Impresario tents, though, where the quest properly directs you for turn-in and acceptance.

Witches Festival

Fixed an issue where some in-game announcements and tutorial pop-ups still referenced using the Witchmother's Whistle for an XP bonus that is now passive during the event.

Endeavors

Fixed an issue where digging up the mound for the Glenumbra Treasure Map II would not trigger the associated Endeavor, as well as increasing Sharp-as-Night's rapport.

Homes

Fixed an issue where there were small gaps in some of the staircases in the exterior portions of Shadow Queen's Labyrinth.

Furnishings

Fixed an issue with the "Necrom Roof, Gable" furnishing where it had a texture oddity on its underside.
Fixed an issue with the "Necrom Monolith, Stone" furnishing where you could walk into the center of it based on which rotation it was placed.
Fixed an issue with the "Telvanni Door, Round" furnishing where it was unintentionally displaying a black plane.
Fixed an issue where three of the new window furnishings had extremely off-center light projections.
- "Necrom Window, Framed Exterior"
- "Necrom Window, Unframed Exterior"
- "Necrom Window, Leaded Interior"
Fixed an issue where the "Necrom Lamppost, Single" furnishing was miscategorized as a Lamp under Lighting. It is now correctly set as a Lightpost.

General

Fixed a rare issue where using Target Markers in some scenarios could cause a crash.

Occlusion Culling

Fixed several cases of Occlusion Culling causing unintended objects to turn invisible when handling materials with alpha enabled.
Fixed an issue where Occlusion Culling would cause unintended objects to turn invisible in Thieves’ Oasis.

General

Fixed an issue where the Zone Guide could show incorrect progression.

Fixed an issue where the interaction prompt was incorrectly greyed out if you blocked right as you sheathed your weapon to gather a node.

Crafting

Updated the name of the keybinds in the various crafting UIs to be clearer about what the keybind does, especially in Gamepad Mode.
- For example, "Refine Selected" is now "Refine Multiple".
